Naysha Aysha
Tuxedopelt had come to say hello to Larksparrow, they shared the same views so conversation was pleasant. "Hello....." He looked put out by the other visitors the tip of his tail twitching with aggravation. He had heard the last bit of conversation before he spoke. "Speak for yourself mouse brain." He was speaking to Foxheart. "I will admire only those who give me reason too. I think it's sad if you are admiring a kit that has not even had its naming ceremony yet. You must think pretty low of yourself. Besides she has just as much of a chance at becoming the new leader as I, Flamepaw, or any other cat does, remember clan leadership is not dictated by birth right. Thank Starclan!" He shot a glance to Darkpaw before making his way over to Larksparrow. It wasn't that he had something against Darkpaw, but there were things he didn't agree with which made him act this way towards Darkpaw.

"Hello Larksparrow."

Foxheart had done well with holding back as the other cats spoke, but he couldn't help chuckling cruely- something Foxheart had never done. "You? Leader? The last thing you'd ever be is leader, Tuxedopelt. It's a shame your only friend is Flamepaw; the only cat you think is worth mentioning. Darkpaw has a better chance than you. So does Plumpaw." he added, not wanting his apprentice to get jealous. "If I'm not forgetting, she's the one who found you to help a choking kit, Larksparrow," he gave her an icy look- another thing he never did. "You don't give her the credit she deserves. It doesn't matter if she's the daughter of leaders, I wouldn't care if she was a daughter of a warrior, but she has potential to be a greater cat than the likes of you, Tuxedopelt, who looks at cats like they're prey. You praise Plumpaw, while Darkpaw does just as well, and you turn your backs to her. What did she ever do to you? I don't think of myself at all, except as a loyal Clan cat, that cares about other cats!" he spat, then gave Brightheart a friendly nod, as if it all never happened.

Darkpaw scuffled her paws. It was true- no cat cared about her. Only Silvershiver, Foxheart, and Foxpaw gave a scrap about her, Tearpaw, too, in a way. All other ShadowClan cats seemed to dislike her. Her parents cared, but they were parents. She held back a wanting to scream about how it wasn't fair, and that it wasn't her fault Larksparrow smelt like fox-dung. But, she had self-discipline to never cry, never seem hurt. How low it felt to be defended by the Clan loser.

Outwardly Brightheart didn't change, but inside she felt herself curling up into a tight little ball. She was used to her kinder Clanmates - a good warning not to get friendly with these other cats.

"Tuxedopelt, then." she said quietly. "You do have a Clanmate named Blackspot, no? You may want to tell him his name isn't suitable."

She turned her back on the black and white tom, her attention drawn to a familiar scent. Snakefang. Not a bad cat - just a bit confused. "Hello Snakefang!" she mewed to him. He was watching the sky with an intensity that made her wonder.

Plumpaw, oddly enough, wasn't jealous. Darkpaw had the smarts to be leader and the tenacity, but she was awfully mean. Foxheart's change in attitude made him nervous, though. He pinned his ears back and scuffed his paws against the ground, growing even more nervous when his name was mentioned.

"Foxheart," he offered up. "why don't we go hunting? It's a lot better than fighting, right?" He did -not- want to stay anywhere near this arguement.

Oh dear. ShadowClan didn't sound like a peaceful place right now. Brightheart caught Foxheart's nod and gave a hesitant nod back before moving away, closer to Snakefang, not wanting to be accused of eavesdropping.

"Fighting is sometimes necessary to prove a point, Plumpaw." Foxheart said to his apprentice. "My point is, your sister is treated like dirt among cats that should get along with her, no matter how tempremental she is." Again, he turned to Larksparrow. "Did you ever even ask why she didn't like you?" he asked, but giving Plumpaw a look that meant they would, soon.

Tuxedopelt chuckled just as Darkly walking close to Foxheart giving him an on bothered look. " At least I know when to hold my tongue Foxheart. What a low life you are to let clan drama slip to another clan cat's ears, but since she has heard already no point in me being quite. I never said I wanted to be leader, but my point was she has about as much of a chance as an unpopular cat as I to be leader. If she proves herself to be leader material once she becomes a Warrior I will concede to your prompt, but for now she needs to learn respect for Warriors, Elders, and fellow apprentices a like and that fat head you are giving her will not help her in any quest she might have. Larksparrow is my friend as well you piss ant and I quite frankly think she is the cat for the job of leading this clan, to my dismay she is not able too. Do not speak another word to me about her greatness, they are words drifting in the wind and nothing more, if she is all you say she is I shall see it for myself when she is ready. In the mean time act likely a real warrior and find something better to do then build of a kit's ego." With this said Tuxedopelt turned and made sure his tail whipped a bit at Foxheart's face. He padded over to Larksparrow. "I'm getting tired of hearing about those kits, we have more young cats then just them about after all. Oh and I'm sorry for my outburst Brightheart make no mistake our clan is strong despite a few weak links." Tuxedopelt gave her a strong look making sure she new he would fight for his clan just like any other cat of his clan.

Tuxedopelt perked his ears for a moment before his whiskers twichted with amusement. "We have more company, this one smells like it has a small injury.

Thunderclaw walked slowly into Fourtrees his head held low. He still didn't believe that they didn't wait for him. He wanted to know how Fawnfur was and he was angry with Brambleclaw as childish as it was he blaimed him that he had been sent back. At least he could get properly patched up now, the dog bite on his neck stung slightly he worried that it might be getting infected. He walked strait to Larksparrow knowing she was in charge.

"Do you have something for a dog bite?"

"We have more respect than you do, fox-dung. and I don't care what Brightheart hears, it's nothing that'll do anything against us. You think you can beat down on me, and hurt me, but last time I checked, I've dealt with rats that were better than you." His voice was even again, with no emotion in his eyes. Tuxedopelt wasn't hurting him now, for he had let his emotions go to the wind. No more would he accept being looked down upon by a cat that looked stupider than he.

Darkpaw glared up at Tuxedopelt, after swatting away his tail from her defender's face. "Shut it, you half-wit. I have plenty of respect, and I can't comment on an ego, but I'd rather show that being the way I am is better than your Flamepaw. Or Plumpaw. I'm not a cowering duck, and it's not my fault Larksparrow smells like dung! It's not my fault her smell makes me mad. It's not my fault you're a-" but Foxheart silenced her before she had a chance to say anymore. But it was true. He was an ugly pompus.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 11, 2008 3:06 pm

Plumpaw let out a deep sigh. It was hard to feel sorry for Darkpaw when she said things like that! "I'm not a duck." he grumbled, not very loudly. The only thing that kept him sitting there was Foxheart's quick glance, which he hoped meant hunting time was on its way.

Well, not the only thing. It wouldn't be fun to mope around camp some more. At least here there were distractions from a certain she-cat - unpleasant distractions, to be sure, but he wasn't going to be picky.

Brightheart barely glanced at Tuxedopelt. "Thunderclaw!" She bounded over, giving his ear a gentle lick when she saw how sad the warrior looked.

She glanced up at Larksparrow. "I can fetch herbs if you need them." she offered tentatively.

Tuxedopelt simply began to lick his coat as if he really needed to.
"Respect would mean as a kit you would keep your nose out of a Warrior's conversation. Don't you think Larksparrow." Tux said twitching his whiskers before licking his paw ans swiping it over his head. This was his way of saying the conversation was over, if they wanted to carry on a one sided fight they could look stupid if they wished.

"Thunderclaw isn't it?" Tuxedopelt spoke laying his eyes on the new comer.
"Tell us how does the Thunderclan patrol fair?"

Thunderclaw suddenly straitened himself up. "Thunderclan shall find Windclan in no time, despite interruptions." Thunderclaw voice boomed as though to declare Thunderclan had already found Windclan. "We even had time enough to fight off a pack of dogs." Thunderclaw purred that at least was true.

"So why are you here?" Tuxedopelt purred sounding amused.

"That, is not for you to know." Thunderclaw hissed slightly under his breath.

Thunderclaw smiled at Brightheart he hadn't noticed her at first. When she licked his ear he nodded at her greeting. "How is the clan?" Thunderclaw wanted to get his mind off patrol, but perhaps he could get Brightheart alone and let her know what had really happened with the patrol so far.

"I'm an apprentice. If you talk about me, that means I'm involved." she snapped. "Don't think because you're a warrior that you can treat me like dung. I matter to the Clan as much as you do, or StarClan wouldn't have sent me here, no? All of us have a purpose, but your's isn't to treat the misfits like they're nothing. Foxheart's a good cat, who cares about others. He doesn't complain, nor hisses, without good reason. I just wish you could realize it." She turned to Larksparrow. "And you're medicine cat. Moonstar deserves respect- all cats do. The code says you are to love the whole Clan- that include Foxtort and Foxheart." A small bit of her true intellegence came out. "And your patrol isn't led by an honorable leader, Thunderclaw. StarClan is with the patrol that has the most medicine cats and leaders- we'll find WindClan. None of our cats are injured from running into dogs like mice into a cat's mouth."

"You are a kit till the naming ceremony in my eyes. Your sister knows as much, which at least give me some hope for your litter." Tuxedopelt said as a side note not even looking at Darkpaw. "I do respect you as a kit and nothing more, till it is your time. This is the way it was for my father and my father's father and every other cat that has placed its paws on the path you are to take even if it may end in another higher or loser place. I know you will be a functioning member of the clan bringing your youth and skills to it's aid , but as far as being better than any other cat in the clan is my problem, learn your place Darkkit. Now shush there are more interesting matter at paw." His eyes were still concentrating on Thunderclaw, he was curious about how little the cat was willing to say.

"You spew lies. Plumpaw gets more respect than I do, and he isn't a full apprentice either! Ebonypaw has no imagination, since you've sucked everything out of her." she muttered. An apologetic look was shot at Plumpaw. She was guilty for saying what she said about him, but she felt it was true. Just because he was a stupid honey-licker didn't mean she shouldn't have any respect. "I won't shut my mouth until you learn that all of my litter is worth something. We're apprentices, because we've hunted, we've been on patrol- ceremonies can't help that."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 11, 2008 3:56 pm

"Good." She chuckled, mind wandering to their Clan at his question. "Milkpaw's still full of trouble.  And all of the apprentices wish they were on the patrol, so we have to listen to them fuss."

Brightheart eyed Darkpaw and shook her head. "We'll see." she meowed. "ShadowClan's patrol will have plenty of stories when they come trotting back here, I'm sure."

Plumpaw shot a glare at his sister, unappeased by the apology in her glance. "You're so surprised that you aren't respected - then you go and insult us. It's not OUR fault we're treated better!" He was beyond annoyed with her. "Why not try giving respect before you think of earning it?" It wasn't entirely fair - she had said her entire litter was worthy - but he was tired of being used as an example.

"It isn't. I give as much respect as I can, but I never get any." She wasn't ruffled by his words. "I could treat you worse than I do. Do you know how many times I've stuck up for you in the past?"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:01 pm

Something that she said noticeably bothered Tuxedopelt he turned giving her a glare that was almost a fight taunt. "I never lie! Plumkit gets more respect , because he is well behaved! Ebonykit is no different! Your litter is worth as much as any other cat's no more no less!! Ceremonies are everything!!! Traditions made by STARCLAN ITSELF!!!" Tuxedopelt yowled at Darkpaw. "You will never earn my respect or the respect of any cat that lives by the code with an attitude of a rouge!!! Your spirit maybe that of an apprentice, but you are not one!!! You will wait for your mother to find time from her, what ever she does, to do the ceremony for me to call you by your new name!!" Tuxedopelt's fur was fluffed and he spat at Darkpaw before suddenly putting his fur down and looking a little put out. He turned away and walked behind Larksparrow to block the kit from his view.

"That's supposed to make me feel better?" Plumpaw stared at her. ""I could treat you worse than I do."? The other cats could treat you worse, too! They could beat you up...or...or take your food!"

A loud snarl from Tuxedopelt made the black apprentice jump. He shrank back towards Foxheart as he raged at Darkpaw, feeling the anger roll off him in waves. Remembering the 'cowering duck' comment, though, he made himself stand tall until Tuxedopelt stalked away, although he couldn't stop his tail floofing out into a terrified brush.
