Ren brightened as she agreed "shapeshifting could be fun i guess to." nodding after again. "so water, darkness, shapeshifting, a choice between fire and air, i like the idea of fire i could burn things." he got a evil look in his eye that was gone in a moment.

"Shapeshifting?! Interesting..." Ruby gazed at Kaliska with wonder. She'd hadn't thought of that option...oiy. Now she had to decide between three areas instead of the original two. "Burning things?" Ruby grinned, "I don't think I'd learn fire so I could be destructive with it...it's majestic as it is. The warmth and light it can give is really valuable to me. But then again air has such a tug to me as well...you know sometimes I like to listen to the wind and it sounds like it's talking or singing."
Pausing she looked around sheepishly, "Heh...seems like a rambled a bit there."

“ Hn. I have no use for blowing bubbles.” Stated Grendel, giving Sayuri a contentious glare. “ But with Darkness I shall have the advantage of stealth on my side.”
“ You mean you can cower in shadows and fight dirty.” Hooted Chiyo, giving the green Painter a baleful glare. Grendel merely snorted in response.
Sayuri shot an apologetic glance at the other Painters, though in her mind she agreed with Chiyo. She found nothing honorable about the way she knew Grendel intended to use the magic of Darkness, but refrained from commenting.

"Wouldn't that just give him deeper shadows to hide in?"

Kaliska blinked a little confused for a moment while she tries to figure out what she meant, or at least how to explain it that Ren woudl understand.

“ Light inevitably creates shadow-”
“ Yes, in theory. It shall be some time before any of us can put such theories into practice, so I see no need to worry about a day still so far in the future.”
Grumbling, Grendel prepared to lay back down when Sayuri delicately cleared her throat. Shooting her a clearly irritated look, his tail twitched irritably as he waited for her to speak.
“ Perhaps you would be so kind as to go and catch something to eat?”
Grendel’s glare increased, but Sayuri merely smiled sweetly; for a dragon anyway. With a huff he climbed to his feet and took to the sky in search of prey. With her irritable den-mate now gone, Sayuri returned her attention to the others.
“ My apologies; I believe he tries too hard to live up to his name. Deep, deep down he’s a good dragon.”

Watching the small crowd from above, Alexstrasza yawned. They talked a lot, but they were all bunched up together like a tiny Rainbow, constantly moving.
"How fun. I guess I should join them."
She flew down and landed behind them quietly and noticed how fun it must be to have friends.
"Hello, greetings. I'm Alexstrasza, pleased to meet everyone.

Ruby's eyes gazed at Sayuri with kindness before nodding her head quickly. "Don't worry...I belive you." But before she could say anything else another painter joined them.
"Ello, Alexstrasza." She faced the black and red new comer, "I'm Ruby." With that said she returned to being quiet, preferring to listen than speak.

Ducking shyly, a small male painter made his way towards the group, with his white eyes cast downward. He hesitantly glanced up for a fraction of a second, then back down, with a slightly embarrassed look on his face.

(( Gaaaah. So bright. Could you make his font a little less bright. It hurts the eyes to read. ))
He had been flying around the area for quite awhile when he sudden caught sight of others. Why were their some many dragons gathering in one area? Cocking his head to the side he decided it would a good idea to at least check it out. Meeting others was one of the few things he really like.
Diving fromt he clouds down to the grounds below the Starry dragon fanned out his wings in a hurry, landing less than gracefully in front of a shy green painter. "Ack.. Sorry about that!"

Sabola saw the group of dragons and scampered on over towards them. He was interested to meet others. Heqet moved swiftly after the scampering Sabola. He was always taking off to go meet new dragons. It isn't such a bad trait, she thought to herself.

((Eeh, sorreh! I thought I'd gotten it dark enough... sweatdrop ))
Startled, Yousei jumped back a little and curled up, defensively. Seeing no danger from the dark blue male who'd landed in front of him, he relaxed a little.
"Oh, uhhh.... don't worry! It's okay!" he replied, glancing from the ground, up towards the other male, and back down again.
