Hawthorne tree.
It's hardy, it's eco-friendly, it's pretty, and it has thorns.

I would be a Willow. I don't know why, it's just what comes to mind when I think of your question.

Mm, I would be a Golden Weeping Willow... There was one planted where I live currently, back when I was a younger girl, and I've always felt attached to it...
Willow trees are often connected as "portals" between the spirit realms, other realms, and this one - allowing easy "traveling" between the realms... -Shrugs,- I've always thought them aesthetically appealing as well, even during Winter while they hibernate.

Iron wood tree. They're strong, grow how they want(because if you look them up there's like at least a dozen different growing styles on just the first page), I pick a path & I grow with it, but I'm not above being weird & twisted along the way. In fact, that's how I plan to be.
But I will say this about the weeping willow: It's just plain cool.

I'm a Willow because I bend in the wind, instead of breaking.

The website tells me that I would be a fir tree, but I'd rather be an apple tree... apples make me happy, so I'd like to be something that might make other people happy too! 3nodding whee

An Apple tree! Yummy! The apple tree is said to represent love and want to love.

i think trees are like witches themselves, half in one world half in another but living in harmony with both.

According to that chart, I'm an Ash tree. Admittedly, it's somewhat accurate. However, when I saw the question, my first instinct was to say willow. I've said since I was very young that I wanted to buried under a willow tree. Looking at the willow on the chart, I also feel that it fits me very well. Better than the ash, these days.

My first instinct was Maple. It was only after careful thought and book browsing that I chose Rowan. After looking at the chart, I understood why. The Maple reflected who I was and the Rowan reflects the person I am now.

Something that is beautiful in bloom but gives a sweet bounty. mrgreen
