He nodded at her explanation of flying- the three winds in his herd seemed very fond of being in the sky, and he'd always wondered if it was as much fun as he imagined it would be. Aquene especially spent almost all her time in the air, and preferred remaining in the sky to socializing with the grounds below.
It seemed that nothing would be able to wipe away the permanent bright grin etched into his dark features at that moment, turning a bit proud as he thought of the foals he would have soon. His head tilted to one side in thought as he considered what kind of names he could give them. "What about... Kotori, for a boy? Or Aponi, for a girl?" He smiled down at her. "'Butterfly' would fit perfectly if they inherit your wings."
He continued to think for a moment, then brightened. "Or Maiara... my father always teased me, saying he wanted a girl, and he would have named her Maiara."

Roxy nuzzled his cheek gently. Letting another stream of laughs flow from her chest and out ward. She wondered if all stallions got this way when presented with the fact that they had new lives to take care of on the way.
Even now, it seemed that her sweet Nahuel was already falling into step with this prospect.
"They sound like wonderful names. But what if there is more than one girl or boy? Or all boys? I doubt one of them would want to be called Butterfly."

Grinning at the sound of her laughter, he closed his eyes for a moment and just savored the thought of having these warm, peaceful moments with his beloved. From what he'd heard, there wouldn't be too many of these once the foals arrived. Still, a warm feeling filled his heart when he thought of having a family of his own, and it didn't seem so daunting anymore.
He chuckled at her tidbit of wisdom, nodding as he rested his chin gently over her head. "I imagine I wouldn't have been too happy if my father had named me Maiara, either." He snickered at the thought. "I'm not even entirely sure 'Nahuel' fits... after all, he's the jaguar, not me." He shrugged anyway, nosing at her curly mane.
"I suppose we'll just have to wait until they're born then." He lifted his head to meet her eyes with a warm look in his own. "Did you have any ideas?"

She laughed again and gave a little shake of her head. "No, I don't imagine you would have been. I think Nahuel fits just fine. Even if the meaning doesn't, its still your name."
Roxanne's wings twitched once more as her stomach gave a little rumble. Her cheeks grew darker as she buried her face into his neck again. "No. I don't. I guess I've just been a bit too tired and slightly worried about what was going on to really have time to sit down and think." Taking a shallow breath, she nibbled on her bottom lip. "I might have a few names swimming about in my mind, it just depends I guess on genders."

He nodded, grinning as he took in the sound of her laughter. "I couldn't imagine being called anything different, honestly. I suppose it'll be like that for whatever we decide to name our foals."
He heard her stomach rumble and chuckled softly again, nuzzling her neck lovingly before shifting his weight and heaving himself to his feet. "Hungry? You've got more than one mouth to feed, now, so I have to take care of you." He nodded to himself in his resolve, smiling brightly down at her. "What are you in the mood for? Apples? Carrots? Or just some nice tasty grass?"

The warmth of his body still lingered momentarily after he had gotten up. Her wings flattened out once more to cover herself. Though she probably should move to a warmer area. The cold ground wasn't really a place anyone wanted to lay about on.
Lifting herself up slowly, careful to not scratch her belly against the ground, Roxanne gave her wings a few quick flaps before glancing around. "I'm not too sure how easy it would be to find apples or carrots laying about. Its still not completely spring yet and even then most are just starting to grow. As for grass..."

"I'm sure I could manage something, if you said it was what you wanted." He gave a determined not, preparing himself for a search if it was necessary. After all, he'd found the daisies, apples or carrots couldn't be too much harder, right?
His steeled resolve turned to concern as she struggled to stand, bending down to help her with his neck pressing gently up under hers. "Hey now, careful... if you need help, I'm always here." He meant that in more ways than one, but he didn't elaborate... she was more intelligent than him when it came to things like that, anyway.

"Well, I guess some apples would be nice. I haven't had any of those in a very long time." She didn't want to send him off on a long expedition to find them. Who knew how long it might take! "If you can't find any after a while I want you to come back. I don't mind not getting apples, but I don't want you gone for so long that the foals are born before you come back. So if you can't find them, just bring me something else."
The warmth of his body sent a small shiver along her spine as he supported her as she stood. Perhaps it was time to head towards a better sheltered area. "Thank you. I'm glad to hear that." She leaned lightly against his body, the weight of her belly tugging at her skin. Giving a subtle flick of her tail, Roxanne closed her eyes. Letting out a small sigh. "I suppose I should head into a more enclosed area."

"That might be a good idea," he grinned brightly, nuzzling her and letting her lean on him for a moment more before he stepped away. "I'll be back before you know it, beloved."
And with a joyful prance, he was gone, galloping through the damp, snow-covered fields and withholding his exuberant laughter. He was going to have a family with the one he loved.
