 The lone ligress slipped through the grasses toward the watering hole. Her pelt gently shone in the sunlight. Coming into the clearing, she noticed two males a female. A small group of friends? Or maybe a starting pride? Oooh, or maybe two males courting the same girl? Anya was full of ideas, but of course they remained within the safety of her mind for the time being.
She chuffed a hello to the trio before stepping over to the water, beginning to take her fill of the water.

Ashoka watched as Taeliff left the lake. He wondered if he'd see him again anytime soon. Shaking his head he turned his attention back to the lioness and smiled warmly. "He does seem like a bit of a clutz, if you ask me." He chuckled a bit. "My name's Ashoka and that was Taeliff. Nice to meet you." He let out a low breath as she rattled on the questions. So much talking. His voice would give out on him sooner or later, as it wasn't use to having to answer so many questions.
"I...guess I live here." He shrugged slightly. "Well, not RIGHT here. Just a bit away. I usually just wonder around...but it's so nice here that I've decided to stay for a bit." That and you know you like Nadine. His inner voice nagged at him about that. His attention was drawn to the flock of birds taking off. Which reminded him about food....which reminded him about Nadine. He wondered what she was doing at the moment.
He was a bit startled by the other lioness that showed up. He said a quick hello and let her go about getting a drink.

Sachmet looked over as another female came in. She looked at her and smiled. "Hello." she said back. She looked at Ashoka again and smiled. "Well thats good. I live a good walk away but its nice to get some exercise sometimes. Speaking of i need to eat soon. would you like to join in a hunt? Or should i come back after i eat?" She asked as she stood and stretched. She wondered if the other lioness would like to go with her as well. She swished her tail and shook her self a little as she looked around.

Ashoka hesitated. "I've gotta go, actually." He frowned a bit. "I'm sorry, I really would love to stick around and hunt with you but I have a few things I need to check up on. I'll be back later though." He said as he grinned big and turned away from the two lionesses. "It was nice meeting you. See you later." He said over his shoulder as he took off running in the direction of where he was currently staying.

Anya raised her head at the mention of the hunt. She kept quiet until the male left before she padded over to the other. "A hunt? I haven't been in one in a while. My muscles need to be stretched." Giving off a fanged grin, she gave a short bow. "By the way, I'm Anya. Pleasure to meet you. Was that male a friend of yours?"

 Wandering around the lake's edge was always her favorite thing to do as of late. Nadine was interested in the way life flowed through it's natural course, from the water birds down to the tiny beetle. It was on this day she was wandering when she heard voices off in the distance. Crouching down and sneaking forward to get a better look, she found it to be two females she'd never laid eyes on before. Not perturbed, and knowing she could handle herself if they were violent, she stood up and began walking toward the pair.

Ashoka smirked as he saw Nadine crouched down near the lake. He had decided to come back after all. Guess luck was on his side lately. He crouched close to the ground and moved closer to her, not making a sound. All of a sudden he lept up and pounced playfully at her, rolling them out into the open/

Caught completely by surprise, but smelling that it was Ashoka, Nadine went with the roll, nipping at his ears in the process and swatting at him playfully. Coming up, she crouched playfully, tail flicking, waiting for his next move, laughing the whole while. It wasn't often that he could get the slip on her, but when it did happen, she couldn't help but grin. He was even getting better at it by her measurements.
"Punk." She said through her laughter and breath catching.

Ashoka girnned widely as they both bounced back up onto their own legs. His tail flicked back and forth as he crouched down close the ground in a playful pose. He pounced towards her, only to land short. He quickly smirked as he reached up and licked her face. Suddenly blinking and coming to his senses, he backed up quickly and looked away. He hadn't even realized what he was doing 'til it was already done.
All the whille this was happening, it seemed the other two lionesses were oblivious to what was going on.

Nadine stood there, one paw in the air ready to fight back, and the other firmly planted in the ground. Neither moved though, as she stood blinking at Ashoka. For a few seconds she did nothing, then she got up, and while he was turned away, she licked his cheek. Then, swatting him playfully before he could react, she romped away, toward the two lioness'.

Ashoka blinked and jumped a bit as Nadine licked his own cheek. He chuckled as she swatted at him and started to run after her, towards the other two lionesses.

Slowing to a trott, Nadine noticed both of the other lions in conversation. Feeling that she shouldn't interrupt, she stopped a distance away in their eyesight, letting them know she was there, and that they could approach at any time if they wanted to. Rolling to her side, she heaved a mighty sigh, sending up the dusty earth from her nose, and startling a lady bug off a close by flower.

"They really are into their conversation, aren't they?" Ashoka asked as he leaned his head down close to Nadine's face and nudged her playfully. He slowly laid down beside her, careful to not make dust fly all over the place. He smiled at her and then looked around the area for something to do.

Looking back up at the other two, they did seem absorbed in their conversation. It was too bad, because Nadine enjoyed meeting new people sometimes. She went into moods where she wasn't exactly up for dealing with others, but then i think any lion that had been out of a pride for so long had those moments.
Changing her attentions to things closer to home, she stared at Ashoka. Watching him stare off into space, Nadine's eyes wandered over his markings, and his red mane moving slightly in the breeze. Quite suddenly she picked her paw up and pushed at his shoulder a bit. Waiting for him to turn and look at her, she stared at him.
"What's this between us?"

He looked over at Nadine as she pushed him a bit. "Between...us?" He looked around, trying to avoid the question. Ashoka never was good at things like this. Heck, nothing like this had ever happened to him. "Well....uhmm." He seemed to keep tripping over his tongue at the moment. Nothing would come out of his mouth except a jumbled bunch of words. What WAS between them? He didn't want to rush things. Didn't want to push her away..but each day, no, each moment, he felt closer and closer to Nadine.
