Venda's ears slid forward as she listened to him intently, she slipped one paw forward a bit and leaned hoping to brush his muzzle in thanks. She ducked her head down to find the meat again. "You have a good family, a good pack, to be so willing to share..." She smiled softly. She was certain the male was an hungry as she, perhaps more...but he had a pack, a family to care for him. For a moment she wondered what it would be like, she had thought to help another wolf, to join the pack by the ocean, but it was so tainted, so evil it had cost her what precious sight she had.

Slowly she moved her mind away from bitter thoughts and started to eat the rabbit with gusto, it had been at least a few days since she had last had a meal as decent as this. She longed for venison once more, but her hunting days were done, she was lucky to snatch up what small prey she could. She licked her lips and tried to 'look' in Phobos direction wishing she knew what he looked like. "Thank you...I wish I had something as good to share with you..."
