My band director is very annoying sometimes. Not to mention the kids in my class. My teacher is like, so easily annoyed, it's not even cool. Someone will say the tiniest thing and he'll stop and lecture us about talking while he is talking. EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY. People in my class are even more annoying. There is only 8 of us, and out of that 8, 3 of us behave ourselves. Me included, with my friends Ronald and Heather. The other 5 are stupid head boys(no offense) who do noting but goof off and make sex noises. Yes, it's very annoying. I'm sorry for venting, and I'm done now.

Hate? Ummm... The percussionists... lol! Sorry, they're all a bunch of losers(Except the one drummer girl) Who get all #$%í off because they are "So much more advanced than the rest of the band" and "Want to play something harder" But once we finally give them a hard piece they get all upset because they can't play bells worth crap...

Breana xxOpheliacxx First off people like you....if you dispise band so much freaking drop out loser! Second that nobody talks about band when they are in other classes than band other than me and a few of my friends. Third... I sit right infront of hte danged trombones and I'm a flute, talk about hard to make a sound that soundable to others lawl! Ok, I totally agree with 1 and 2... I got so @#$$ed off because we had worked so hard on our concert (We were doing this thing with an upfront dixie land jazz badn that I happened to be a part of and it was a Christmas song) and it was the last day before school was out for winter break and everybody's all like "SNOW DAY!" and I can understand that but I was talking to one of the band people (STUPID PERCUSSIONIST!) and he was all like "Oh, who cares about the concert, I want a day off school..." But we couldn't make up the concert because it was for Christmas and it would be lame to play it after break... I ALMOST SHOVED MY TROMBONE DOWN HIS THROAT!!!! And I'm really sorry you have to be infront of the Trombone section as a flute... That really sucks...

The only thing I do not like about band is how much time it takes up.... *sigh* I wish I had enough room in my schedule to get back into band. I always wanted to be a senior in band .... there was always so many fun things the seniors did. . . . WAAAAAHHHH~ gonk I WANT BAND AGAIN! But I don't even have enough room for my future related classes. I need Med Term, and Health CO-OP. . . . D: Damn you financially reliable and incredibly interesting health field! I feel old...... crying

My teacher favours the trumpets and if we get this song with an awesome flute part she'll discard it to play a trumpet piece. She also discards many songs that the entire band loves because she doesn't like them, or they're too "boring" or too "easy" or any other excuse she comes up with. It's incredibly frustrating.
Also, if we make one squeaking noise, or mess up on a solo, or mess up a few notes we have others in the band going "Oh come on flutes!" They don't do that for any other instrument and it pisses me off. Sometimes it can be difficult to get the right sound from a flute. Espically when you're sight reading. 3nodding When we learned secondary instruments though the main people doing this had to play the flute or oboe.

Miss Blah I hate the idiots.
Whenever we finish playing a song, someone starts talking.
And when the BD cuts us off, someone always keeps playing.
There's this stupid 7th grader that I also hate in band, but he counts as an idiot. Yea she stole what i would say...

We have a majority black band so there is some drama sometimes. I hate the little cliques that get started in band. Other than that out band is cool. We have the best hig school band in North Carolina and he actually looks out for us since alot of the kinds come from the hood or broken homes.

There are 4 things I hate about band:
1. There are 2 people in my section that are complete idiots, never practice, and when they mess up they make fun of other people later. >.< they are so annoying.
2. Every time we have a concert the trumbones forget to freeze when the songs are over so they look like total spazzes in all of the stillness.
3. The crarinets in my band are horrible!!(no offense) When we were doing class songs in the christmas concert, everybody laughed at the clarinets! I was so embarassed because I wanted that concert to be perfect! I am a saxaphone, so I probbably shouldn't have cared, but the were squeaking all over the place. It was horrible.
4. I HATE THE SOUND OF THE OBOES!!!!! no offense, but they sound like bagpipes just quieter. ><

About band in general? Hm... The competition, definitely. The competition at my high school was terrible. But just don't let me get into that, I've moved on now.
As for instruments.. The flutes and French horns. My hatred of both mainly comes from last year in my senior year of high school. Neither sections could play worth anything... Now even when I hear a good player of those instruments, the sound still annoys me. I don't know why, I used to love French horns, but things have changed, I guess.

Melnoli There are only two things I don't like about band 1. The few people (about 2 or 3) who make me feel like I'm not good enough for them, not in terms of playing but like I'm not cool or something (how juvenile) and 2. That I'm not playing everyday.....why oh why didn't I go to study music at uni?! i totally know how u feel i mean how stupid can they get¿¿¿¿
