Xenon just shook his head. "No.. Like ordinary things! For example.. a rock! You can just look at a rock and then just shrug it off, but if you look closer, sometimes you see sparkly things! Or the rock seems to be made out of different things." He nodded his head, swaying his tail behind him. He nodded his head once. "Yes, it was a murky clear rock. It caught my attention when I was digging, then when I walked away, the sun made it all bright!" He gave a grin to her. "It was really pretty and sharp too." He nodded his head. "I'm sure you can find one too, if you really wanted to. You just need to open you eyes to really look for interesting things!" He nodded and wagged his tail excitedly.
The wolf just wringled his nose. "Sometimes you just have to admit to the limitations of your body. Or you can just make adjustments so you can fulfill it." His tail twitched. "Do you want to go for a walk?" He asked. He hated sitting in the same place or standing in the same place for too long. His muscles ached to move and be free.

Pumpkin listened to Xenon as he spoke and blinked, well she had never thought to get distracted by things like rocks. If she did she would never get anywhere for being distracted by everything. Still what he said did make sense perhaps this wolf took the time to really stop and enjoy everything around him, even the trivial things. "I would like to find one...someday."
She stood and shook off, "sure a walk sounds nice." She wasn't certain where he wanted to walk to if he had a home of his own nearby or if he too wandered alone.

Xenon just grinned. "I'm sure when I find one again, I'll come and find you." He nodded his head. His tail twitched behind him as he looked around. He tried to think of interesting places that would be worth visiting, but none could come to mind. If he knew of any flower gardens, he would have visited one, but seeing how it was still cold out, he doubted there were very few flowers about.
He wasn't sure really where to lead the wolf. "Do you have anywhere particular you'd like to visit?" He asked curiously, stretching his forelegs forward before returning to stand up. His silver eyes kept his gaze with Pumpkin, giving her his undivided attention... for now.

She smiled at his words, perhaps she had made a friend in this interesting wolf. "I would be most thankful if you did, I'll keep an eye out for one myself as well." She gazed down the stream and took another small sip.
Licking her lips she stretched in mimicry of his actions and nodded. "I know a large rock formation, too small to be a mountain and too large and jagged to be a hill....hard climb, but a most worthy view of the scary two leggers camp. They can't spot you if you stay low..."

Xenon smiled and nodded his head. "Alright. I'd love to see what you find, if you ever find anything. I love most interesting things." He nodded his head. The wolf listen and nodded. "Really?" He looked to Pumpkin. "That sounds interesting. Are they really that scary? What do they do to look scary?" He asked. He didn't find anything scary unless they try to kill you. "Do you want to lead? I have no clue where it is." He nodded. The wolf just hoped his curious nature wouldn't get him or Pumpkin hurt.

Pumpkin nodded and started to walk further from the forest waiting for him to follow a moment. "Oh yes they scare everyone it seems, even the other two leggers. They have these big walls made of wood and their bodies are shiny like gazing into a silver river, but not all the time it's as if they can take their pelts off. They have these big sticks that make loud terrible noises and whatever they aim their stick at it drops down."
She gave a soft nod, she herself feared them and stayed away from their 'pack lands'. "From where we'll be though it's far enough that they can't see us, but you'll see them...and hear them...and smell them."

Xenon followed after her, his pace matching her as he observed his surroundings. "They do?" He asked curiously. He never really heard of two-leggers. It was probably because he wasn't very social, but he wasn't worried about the two-leggers. Unless they gave him reason to dislike them, then he'd stay neutral about them. The wolf tilted his head slightly in confusion. "Eh? They're able to take their pelts off? That's odd. I wonder what kind of pelt it is, or if it's even a pelt." He said, rather curious of these two-leggers. "Is that so? That must be efficient." He blinked slightly, wondering as well if the sticks were magical to just have their prey drop down like that. He wondered where the two-leggers stood in the food chain. With two legs, they don't seem like they can run too fast. Then again, he didn't know much about them, so he didn't know what other attributes that might contribute to their high level of danger.
The wolf just nodded lightly. "Alright." He made sure to follow Pumpkin's actions and stayed close. He didn't want to draw too much attention, if the two-leggers were really all that much trouble.

Pumpkin led the black and white striped wolf towards the large wooden fortress that the shiny two leggers lived in and up a small rise. She slunk low to the ground and lay down peering out into the vast flatlands that lead towards sandy ground.
"They live in there, it's like a big den for them all. I've seen small wolves inside coming out with the two leggers...but I won't go down there..." She nodded softly.

Xenon curiously looked around the area. His silver eyes taking in all that was seen. His ears were swiveling about, just to make sure there wasn't any danger creeping up on them. He followed Pumpkin's action and sunk low to ground. He looked out to the flatlands ahead that lead to the sandy ground.
He turned his head to look at Pumpkin. "Really...?" He looked out towards the den wondering outloud. "Why would they have pups with them..?" He murmured. His ears twitched, wondering if the two-leggers were really hostile to the larger wolves. He took a curious sniff, trying to sniff out what they had. He couldn't recognize a lot of the scents, but he at least got the smell of two-leggers down.

Pumpkin stayed crouched where she was and gazed at Xenon relaying what little information she knew about the two-legged ones who dwelled in the wooden den. She shook her head as he asked about them having pups, "Not pups...they smell different, like us but not...very close though...I call them little wolves." She shrugged and gazed down. "Some of them have something shiny around their necks."
She frowned as she heard the sudden loud bangs and a few distant cries from the direction of the humans. "They fight sometimes...the shiny two leggers against the ones that live in the open land." She crouched lower "They never even have to claw or bite each other, they just drop dead from far away when the loud sound comes out of the stick." She nodded and looked at Xenon as if daring him to contradict her.

Xenon blinked and looked to her. He didn't realize he was talking and just looked to her, thinking. "Oh? I can't tell. Maybe they're related?" He guessed, trying to look at one. "Shiny?" He tilted his head, looking for the 'shiny' on the small wolves. He tried to sniff for the scent of the smaller wolves, trying to determine what they are and if he had ran into one before.
His ears perked up hearing the gunshots, and looked around wondering where they came from. "Oh?" His tail twitched behind him, creeping a bit forward to see if he could find the two-leggers fighting. His ears twitched. "That's odd.. Are they territorial?" He tilted his head in curiousity on how the two-leggers worked.

She tilted her head curious now as well if the two leggers were territorial, she had always assumed they were the way they fought each other. Her ears pricked and fell back with the gunshots.
"Maybe...I'm not brave enough to find out..." She shook her head.

Xenon lightly smiled to her. "Alright. We don't need to find out now." He gently nudged her with his maw, in effort to make her turn around so they could head back into the safe territory, away from the two-leggers. His ears twitched slightly, making sure that the gunshots weren't anywhere near them. He didn't want Pumpkin or himself to get injured, or drop dead.

Pumpkin turned to him and nodded softly glad he had taken in his fill of the sight. She remembered how she had watched the two legged interaction for so long before the novelty wore off and she had decided to simply avoid the seemingly violent creatures.
"I told you they were strange..." She smiled as they headed back towards the relative safety of the forest.

Xenon just nodded, with a light grin on his face. He followed after her, cautious of his surroundings. He was wary that he was following a female, but that didn't bother him. "You think they're strange because you don't understand them." He just chuckled behind her, watching her amusingly, looking ahead to the relative safety of the forest.
