Username: Ladygaura, real name Lidia A. Seebeck

Age 36

Affiliation: LIBERTARIAN! I am the current Western Vice Chair of the Libertarian Party of Riverside County CA, my hubby is its Treasurer. We both have and continue to do county and state level assistance to the LP. My husband has also run for public office (was not successful in the sense that he didn't get on the school board but we got the incumbent board to nix their new school plans, admit that they were "blowing numbers out their b---" {I can't make that up. That's actually the quote from one of the incumbents} and come up with new plans for TWO new schools that didn't even cost HALF as much) We have also been campaign advisors for several sampaigns.

Philosophers: A wide range, Solon of Athens, von Mises, Jefferson, Gouvernor Morris, Hayek. and oddly enough Mercedes Lackey. (If you've ever delved into the politics of Valdemar you will understand)

Biggest influence: my parents are an influence but also my readings into Liberty and my discussions with political people.

Yes, the system isn't very functional right now but I would argue that we have to bring candidates (such as Ron Paul) into enough view to make that obvious. We still have time to save America from disaster, but we have got to act, and act now.

Name: Travis Celendel, But I answer to "Yeti-sama" and and "Trace"
Age:23
Political Party: former Republican
Favorite Political Philosopher(s): Benjamin Francklin, Teddy Roosevelt
Biggest political influence(s): My Dad, Ronald Reagan.
Anything else?: I'm about as conservative as they come. This does not make me racist, though I am prone to generalizations. My big heat issue is Gun-Control. I have no friends who believe it is a good Idea. I don't associate with those that do except in a debate/ argument/ name calling contest. I've been married to a woman for 2.4 years now and wouldn't have it any other way. I also belong to that most hated class of people: A conservative Christian between 18 and 35. I'm also White. Really really white. And a redneck. So I don;t mind being called one. Just don't use the word "Hick" that's my equivalent of "N!@@#%" or W#@#$@!"
