"Yeah, definately NOOOOOOOOT safe down here." Luna shouted to herself, attempting to keep her balance from the minor tremors and bits of rock that had gotten a bit too close for comfort. One of the disadvantages of confusion she managed to overlook was that her opponent would not be able to control the accuracy of the attack that well, which meant there was a high chance she could get hit accidently.
Nine was faring pretty well, able to weave through the rocks and jump away in time before any bit of rock emerged beneath her. She did, however, take a small blow to her ankle after losing her timing due to her trainer's sudden outburst. Nine snorted, shaking off the pain. "Weak." She taunted the other pokemon before slamming one of her good paws into the ground, creating another round of earthquakes.

Still following the fun little orb, Ferrum was completely blindsided as a huge tree shuddered above her, dropping various-sized branches upon her. She didn't even hear the Ninetails' tauntings. Ferrum screeched in surprise, but was too slow to run from the falling trunk. The wind knocked out of her, Ferrum was left gasping for breath as her ribs were partly crushed.
"Ferrum! You have too look away from that orb! Concentrate!" Jackie shouted exasperatedly. She sounded like a broken record. How could Ferrum let herself be hit like this?! Watching her pokemon from afar, Jackie was unable to reach her due to the downed trees and unstable earth, which still rocked with tremors from Nine's powerful attack. "You've got yourself a special partner, that's for sure!" she yelled over to Luna. "Ferrum, try another Earthquake!"
Ferrum gritted her teeth as she tried to push the orb from her view, but it was still there, it was always there! Not even bothering to free herself from under the tree trunk, she slammed her tail hard on the ground. "I'm not weak, just unlucky!" she growled.

(I hope you don't mind me saying how your attack turned out because you attacked yourself xD;; )
Luna watched as Ferrum slammed her tail on the ground, but ended up knocking herself over due to her confused state. "One should not rely on luck for battle...' Nine murmured softly before leaping towards her trainer.
Luna grinned. "I know, Nine's very special!" She said, giving her pokemon a brief hug before making her way towards Jackie, ordering Nine to pick up the fallen cranidos along the way.
The ninetales delicately scooped up Ferrum with her tails and laid the fossil pokemon on her back while trailing after her trainer. "But Ferrum put up a pretty crazy fight there. I think you guys'll get pretty far if you keep training!" She jumped over an area of uneven ground. "Sooo...need any help getting out of here?" She asked, giving a slight chuckle, "We tore up this battle ground pretty good...darn, I bet the committee will definitely be after my hide after this..."
Luna briefly recalled the moments where she blew up the machinery in the electric field and flooded many other battle terrains. Yup, she was in deep trouble. Not that she minded that much, but lectures from Jen sucked.

Ferrum slumped as the red orb faded from her vision. The moment her mind was clear (at least, as clear as it could be through the pain in her ribs), she began to mutter endless inaudible threats... against herself. Stupid! You follow a little red orb?! And for what!? So you could earthquake yourself to the point that you break a freaking rib or two?! Oh, but that's not enough, you needed to have a tree fall on you, too! That's just wonderful. Jackie's proud of me now, yessiree. The endless stream of comments didn't stop as she was scooped up by Nine and left to simmer on her back.
Jackie smiled in response to Luna, but her face was still torn with grief for her ailing pokemon. "Thank you. We'll keep training hard. I look forward to a rematch someday!" she said, tucking Ferrum back into her pokeball. "It's definitely time for a trip to the Pokemon Center. Thanks, but I can manage. And good luck with Jen!" Stepping carefully over a pile of fallen, leafy branches and around a fallen boulder, Jackie made her way slowly out of the stadium. It's nice to meet a friendly trainer! But Ferrum and I have a lot to work on now...

Luna let out another laugh. "I just hope she won't sick Aeon on me, I get enoguh shocks from my own raichu. See you later then!" She said, waving as she started to head out herself but using the opposite exit. She had to file the damage she caused if she didn't want Jen to strangle her.
"It's going to be a loooooooong day Nine..." She said to her companion sadly. Nine remained silent, but stayed close to her trainer to provide the small amount of comfort she could.
End battle, yay =D
