Okay, Fel Essences. I think the strongest one you have to date is your Living Fossil one. It's wholly unique and I just love the idea of bones rattling around in a vial, hehe. So yes, I believe that one to have the most potential out of all, even though I can see you're still fleshing out some of the more recent ones.

Let's talk souls. Dragons are awesome. I love dragons, yet with your Chinese Dragon, you should be aware that Fweedle has the Feng Huang as a soul in his quest. Though they are two separate creatures that are merely counterparts of one another, I think it's good to for you to know anyway.

The black widow spider I've seen in another's quest already. I can't remember who, but I remember the soul because at one time I had wanted to pursue that particular soul myself. Yet, that's not to say you can't still try for a spider, just probably best to go with a different kind.

The rest I think are fine. I'm very partial to the snake because well...I'd wanted a snake at one time as well. As far as I can tell, no one has a snake soul yet although they are very awesome. The fish is good too because I think there needs to be more water based Raevans for Sevvie to play with, hehe. A werewolf is sort of out there, but in the realm of possibilities. Could potentially produce a somewhat evil aligned Raevan of which I believe there need to be more of too. And the frog is fresh and cute, enough said.

Well that's all I have at the moment. Don't feel like you have to stick with one thing. Keep experimenting and getting feedback from people. It'll help you put things in perspective and help you get closer to that one idea that you really really love. Most of all, have fun! ^_^ Good luck!

Next time, read through everyone's quests before you start making ideas ^^ Common courtesy. Because people get sore when you step all over their ideas, even if its SIMILAR... its hard to let it fly as there are plenty of other paradoxes you can use that don't hit too close to home on others.

((Rapid is not sure but the arabian horse (perhaps it's even nothing really)...But just thought she'd let you know that...Tsu's raven's soul was based of Sleiphner (or however you spell it), Odin's eight-legged horse. XD

redface Sorry, I haven't read Mongrel's quest in quite awhile and totally forgot about the Living Bone concept.

And Ginger, I hope all this isn't getting you down or anything. It's not easy to come up with a concept that hasn't already been taken. You'll find it though and when you do you, I know it'll be totally awesome! If it helps, there are some soul and essence ideas in my thread that I'm no longer pursuing. Maybe one will spark an idea or something. ^_^ Again, good luck with your quest.

-Edit- Oh, and the Feng Huang I believe is a phoenix of some sort if I remember correctly. I only mentioned it as it's the female counterpart to your chinese dragon. So since they are different animals, I don't think it'd be a problem to use, but it's your decision and all.
