Resting his head on top of her's gently Crunch could hear and feel her relax. With a soft smile the alpha recalled his cousin's news, "Yes, he said you helped bring his offspring into this world. That was very kind of you, how are you at having to give them that news about the one that was lost? Musketeer was pretty tore up, but he seemed better with the notification that his pups are welcomed in to the pack."
Crunch moved his head down and feeling her gentle lick, the red brows came together. Not that he wasn't happy that Alas wanted to share their moment, but he had kept their promise in mind. "What about things in your pack? You haven't been able to do the good you wanted?" Wait it had been a while, maybe Alas had found hope in the Aqua Azul yet. Licking her maw, Crunch couldn't help but ask, "What has happened to make you change your mind, Love?"

Alas nodded softly at the memory of Necrala's frantic call and her own voice tearing through to bring Musketeer running. She took a deep breath and pressed close to Crunch. "They were...It was hard to believe that there was nothing I could do for it...and Necrala was so torn so cold...I think she's afraid. Musketeer seemed so angry and confused...I think it will be hard on both of them, but at least I know in the pack the pups will be loved." She nuzzled Crunch tenderly and nodded.
"I've found the good in Agua Azul that I needed to put me at ease, I've been teaching Kattanna's son to heal. He wants to help his mother. Crunch, you see if theres still one part of that family thats okay then there's hope that that will spread. I know I can teach Adolfo from either pack and he has...special help...I'm almost positive the power of a shaman hides within him...he just needs help. I'm going to help him, and he in turn will help his mother...and Twist can't stop pack members form healing and caring about each other without revealing her darker nature...but I still like to think that she's good deep down inside. I think sometimes maybe all she wants is her own family, and she doesn't realize how she's torn apart another." Alas nodded softly still trying to believe in the best and now certain she could help from either pack and in Akikki Chibale she had found the friends and love that kept her hope alive. While in Agua Azul she had found friendship and a way to pass her healing gifts on in the aid of something grander.

With a slight frown, Crunch looked at Alas, "Love, you can't save everyone and not everyone reacts to the same thing in the same way. As for the pups, you're right, there will be plenty of love in this family to go to anyone moving into our pack."
Crunch listened and at the sound of the promising candidate in the other pack, his tail wagged. Did that mean Alas would be joining into Akikki Chibale sooner? Oh how that elated him so. "I'm glad to hear the promise that has risen in Aqua Azul."

Alas nodded softly at Crunch's words finding comfort in them as always, she knew she couldn't save everyone but a dead pup was something that never should have come to pass. Still she was soothed at the reminder that the others would find their family and be loved by Crunch and the others.
"It's very promising for Agua Azul, and for Musketeer and his family, and for us..." She smiled softly.

Crunch couldn't place himself in the feelings that either Alas or Musketeer had to face in that time. With a smile Crunch turned his back towards the direction of the empty den. Butterfinger had gone fishing, Gracia was being picky on the bedding, Twix was going to be watching the border, and Crunch figured that Musket had gone to see his pups.
With a slight waver of his right lightning marked eyebrow, Crunch couldn't help but ask, "How promising exactly for us?"

Alas grinned softly as he faced the den and glanced down into the empty cozy place. A place that could be a home for her...for her family...if she had family. She gazed up at Crunch. "Very promising..." She said with that gentle smile still on her face as she licked his cheek and slunk forward glancing back to see if he was amiable to following.

Crunch knew how hard and long Alas had wanted a family, and with Crunch, she would have a family. Either one just of his siblings and cousins, or one made up of his siblings and cousins, pack and all of the pup born to the family. With the lick on his cheek and her moving towards the den, the blue tail wavered from side to side. He moved forward with long strides and nuzzled her back leg once it was in reach, although the den entrance was right there too. There was that little section right to the left in the entrance that Crunch had claimed as a guard post for himself.

Alas followed Crunch's nuzzle and moved into his area enjoying the feeling and familiar scent that clung to the earth. It was wonderfully enveloping and Alas moved to press happily against her love.
It was time to cast aside the negative experiences with the world around them and make a new wonderful experience together.
