Hell yeah he was trying to run away. Pride or not...no one was around to see it flee anyways. And he'd rather leave with unsinged fur as well. Trees of sickly hues and sky of unnatural color blurred beyond recognition, he was darting so swiftly. And it was that same momentum that plastered his face right into the unexpected paw of Majora. With a surprised and muffled groan, Soul rebounded to sprawl on the ground. He shook his dazed head before growling at the femme.
"A big trick you say?! Well those look highly like real firecrackers!" He pointed aimlessly in the direction of her demonic embers. "And there's notihng wrong with my eyes!" He jumped up with a flailing complaint. How dare this kitsu, flaunt herself so while downcasting him. That was his job! Ears pinned to the loud sounds of the fire display...then blinked. Where there had been warm shadows and red hues caused by the flame, there was now none. No harsh scent or anything. "Well....that was disturbingly interesting.." So long as it was upon others and not himself, of course. .__.
Setsu bowed her head in thought. What were their options? She normally didn't like running from challenges of this level. Nor did she enjoy running blindly up to opponents. But with this side injury, running in any direction would be hindered and slowed. She looked down to the growing flame, knowing that was their primary issue for the moment. So..
Brow rose to Luis's humor, willing to smack him just for the hell of holding that tone in this moment. Couldn't blame him though, it was too surreal a situation. "Moving is the only option then. Let's depart from this tree." She could still move, just not with as much flexibility as she once had. So tree skipping wouldn't do. Eyes widened as the heat and brightness suddenly grew, and Setsu darted her arms to cross before her face in guard. It felt too warm, and Setsu could almost compare it to the warmth of being alive. Then, it was gone. Wincing, the female kitsu peeked passed her arms as she lowered them, viewing the serenity around them. "..."
"If you did, then we must be drugged on the same thing." Adjusting slowly, Setsu stepped off from their branch, going down upon two more before hitting ground. She clapped the splinters from her pale paws. "I think that's enough excitement for now." Head tilted back up to the Spaniard. "Coming then?" Tails kept low and heavy to the ground, feeling for any vibrations nearby alertly.

She couldn't help but cackle at the comical reaction, glittering eyes taking in the downed male for just a moment until he popped back upright. "Then I've fooled you too easily!" Majora sneered at him, shaking her head furiously so her tendrils could make ferocious snapping sounds within the air. "Hee hee....You see? It's so much fun to play with people...but now I'm bored." She sighed, mincing a little in place before she took to sauntering in slow, easy circles around Soul.
"I thought you liked playing with people, silly boy~ Was I wrong?" She quipped, bandy tails swishing before she flexed her paws and stretched. "Tooooo baaaad...Well, are you done playing? Did I win?" Majora chuckled throatily, her scratchy tone altering itself into a deep, alluring purr. Winning was vital. This was her game, and there could be no other victor. Of course, this male had struck a curious chord with her. True, he wasn't so simple-minded and obedient as her Moon, but the fiesty, snapping attitude he offered was just as exciting. "What else can you do, boy? Pretty smoke...but is that all?"
Her ears shot upright at sudden movement and Majora allowed her head to sway quietly with a venomous gleam in her eyes. Still skittering about like little rats, were they...? Well, she wasn't sure she was interested enough to go after them, but it couldn't hurt to watch!
"That could be taken in the wrong context, chica." Luis chuckled faintly, stabbing for humor though he didn't feel much like laughing. Dark eyes flitted over her injured form as she slipped down the tree, wondering if she hadn't torn herself open again with that little trick. He lightly bounded from tree limb to tree limb, before his paws sank deep into the snow. "Couldn't agree with you more..." He murmured, casually scanning their current location before deeming it remotely safe. Now he had to wonder--had he actually seen someone? Or had that been another, unearthly mind trick?
"Further into the forest, or backtrack? There's a cabin around here, though..." His accented tone trailed off, dubiously eyeing her wounded side. Did he really need to say anything? She was hurt, and if the snow threatened to devour them again like a twisted, malformed serpent, he wasn't sure that she'd be able to escape from it.

"Fooled me?! ME?!" Soul scoffed as if the mere theory was impossible, despite previous actions. He had merely been surprised, not fooled. Any fool could see that. Bottom lip pouted as the femme seemed to yawn about her boredom, the male finding it no concern to himself. And he himself yawned, like a subconscious attempt to show he was bored with her first before she could claim so about him. Like that would ever happen to his title of awesomeness.
"I like to play with people I know, not just random and lost strangers." What fun were they? Pfft. None. His three glorious tails curled inward to avoid brushed against the circling maniac. A brow rose sharply to her asking of a finished game, and Soul nearly said yes just to be away from her company. Nearly. But what was this? Was she testing his abilities? "A star spangled paw lifted, blue paw pads staring at Majora's face. "Girrrrrrl, please." His smoke wasn't pretty, it was handsome and spectacular! "My super special powers are not things to speak so lowly of, don'tcha know?" If only he knew what powers he was even talking about...
Setsu tilted her neck towards the other in the tree, canting her head slightly. "Ehh, and which part are you referring?" She didn't care, either way. She knew what she was saying. Two-toned eyes soon fled across the trees to the direction of obvious yellings. Was another recieving the same treatment as they just had?
The crunch of snow drew her attention back to the Spaniard. "Well, that's a first. I should mark this day down." This whole week was looking to be a tangent of random happenings. Some good and others dirty. But both being a pest and invert to Setsu's normal demeanor. She frowned as she noted the location of his sight, and she padded at a curve to hide the injured side. Ignoring the pinkened trail she left in the snow. "A cabin, you say? Then that'll do best to keep us from attacking trees and snow." And on top of that, she couldn't backtrack away from her destination.

"Well, you don't seem that bright...tee hee!" Majora quipped, her eyes glittering brightly when a paw was suddenly shoved in her face. "Oh~? And who do you know, boy? Not so boring people?" Without warning, she pulled back her lips and snapped at the paw, whacking at it with one of her own with a delighted cackle. "Super special powers? They can't beat mine, but you can tell me about them!" She purred, looking much like a big, hunting cat as she twisted past him once more.
"Unless I hurt your feelings..." She considered, suddenly beginning to coo at him. "Ohhh, I didn't meaaan too, poor booooy! I just wanted to play! And I know you now...So...shall we play? If your powers can beat mine...Oh, but they can't! Tee hee hee!" Came another cackle, her paws again racing out to swipe at those fluffy tails he seemed so determined to keep away from her. As if!
"I value my skin--I'll keep it to myself." The Spaniard grinned, teeth flashing before the sound of shouts caught his attention. His lips pressed themselves thin for a moment before he shrugged it off. Sorry to say, but he had other concerns right now. He'd never been the hero type, and even if he went charging off valiantly to go save someone...what good would it do? Setsu was still injured, after all, and therefore susceptible to attack.
"So was you helping me in the inital part of that mess, eh?" He chided playfully despite the casual glance he offered to the colorful snow. So she was bleeding again... "Mhm. Somewhere around here--I can find it." Luis was confident in that much, slipping casually to her unwounded side and pulling just a little bit ahead. He kept a decent pace, careful not to rush things to pain her unecessarily, and guided them through the snowy trails. Trees and other suspicious objects were avoided, as he had no desire to go through that hallucinating hell once more.
The cabin soon peaked in the distance, earning a low sound of satisfaction from the male. "You holdin' up, chica?" He asked, glancing over his shoulder even as he made his way up the slick steps. The door was shoved open with a paw before he slipped inside, wary eyes taking in their surroundings before it was deemed safe.

"Helloooo, are you color blind?" He pointed to his vibrant pelt with pride like a god. Of course he knew what she was referring to, but no point in following that game of hers, eh? "And the people I know are of no concern to youuu." As if him and his friends were of a higher social status than herself.
"Eeep!" Well that was uncalled for! How dare she! Soul bared his fangs to the wicked female, not at all pleased with her lack of manners. "And why do you think I would tell you anything now?" Eyes narrowed to her imitation of a baby. "And I'm no boy, I'm a man." Proud smirk. Which soon faultered under her continuing insults. "You know what woman, just....UGH!" He snapped his fingers in front of her, a threatening spark of smoke poofing before her. Perhaps he could transport her, or half of her. But which part should go? Surely her mouth...
Sure, why not. The kitsu shrugged to herself, trying her best to ignore the shouting off in the distance. It sounded more of argument than actual battle cries or cries of despair. Easy enough to walk away from. Besides, Setsu wasn't neccesarily capable of feeling pity at this stage of unliving.
A single ear slanted horizontal to Luis's comment, and dulled eyes gleamed his way. "Hmm? Oh, no. I was just thinking it'd be a pity to loose such an embroided vest." Again, another strange week for the kitsu. But it was better than arguing. She followed along wordlessly on their trek to the cabin, and she only pondered if it was another HQ. Didn't matter. Her pace was managed quite well despite the injury, it's pain dulled simply because of her status.
It wasn't long before the cabin came into view, and Luis questioned her. She simply flashed him a dry smile, left up to his own guessings. Her boots clicked on the steps as she too made her way indoors. "I suppose it's only in good time that I'd be falling apart at the seams, eh?" She was too busy checking out the room to really mind a response at that point. She wondered if this cabin was fire proof.

She snorted and sneered a little, knowing well that he knew what she was talking about, but deciding it'd just play in her favor anyway. "Of course, boy, of course...Poor stupid boy, pretending he has people! There there....I'm sure they'd love you, too, if they were real!" Majora giggled, waggling her head viciously from side to side.
Her own teeth were bared immediately in response, but the female was light on her toes as she pranced in a circle. "Because you like to talk?" She suggested innocently, immediately bursting into high-pitched giggles at his talk of being a man. Ohh, did he now! "Tee hee hee!" Came the cackle, her eyes flashing delightedly at the smoke. Her own hair burst into flames, lashing wildly in front of her face to send fiery streaks through the stuff. "Hee! Do you want to play with fire, boy? Can you haaaandle it?!"
For a moment, he simply looked quietly disinterested in her comment before he tossed his head and laughed, more amused with her attempt at humor than he should have been. "It's a nice vest." He agreed, chuckling with mirth. "I'd be ashamed to lose it after going through so much." Whisked from the bladed tentacles of Las Plagas, and just now out of the false flames of Hell...yes, it'd been through a lot with him.
"Better late than never, chica." Luis grinned playfully and slipped after her, knowing that there was a fireplace in one of the rooms up ahead. Ironic, considering, but his paws were cold and he saw no reason not to warm them. "If you'll let me, I can see what just sorta number you managed to do on yourself, eh? How'd it happen?" He couldn't remember if she'd told him. Getting attacked by tidal waves of frozen water and then burned alive had proved to be worthy distractions.

Pretending he has people? Wtf? Now who was that lame to make up such excuses as that? <<.....>>.. "They are real, you pesky woman." Ugh, it was no wonder now why he hated the opposite sex. Such bothersome beings with bothersome demands. And this alien of a kitsu seemed to top them all. Woe be his day of simple fun.
The fur along his spine bristled shortly, like beautiful blades of black grass. And his bright eyes narrowed in annoyance as he watched her skip a circle. And what was with that annoying laugh!?! It was enough to make him want to pull out his hair. His outstretched paw flinched as she delivered her own powers to his poof, frowning as the substance evaporated. "You know....I've never hit a woman before. But your a** is pushing it!!!" He'd never been so riled up before. And he could only grumble that it must have been Majora's crazy eyes, staring at him with such raw and insane hilarity that was infuriating. Perhaps he should just poof away from this scene?
Paws slid to a stop, and Setsu turned her neck in the direction of the Spaniard. The sudden laughter had broken the quiet air, and she hadn't espected it. Nor did she know how to respond to it. "Hmm.." So much? She hadn't known he was an adventurous character. Unless he was refering to all the encounters he had with swooning ladies. That seemed more likely, but how should she know?
His reference to time had her huffing to herself, mumbling quietly a "I'd rather it not at all." She watched as he walked with purpose towards the hall, wondering where he planned to head off to. Slowly, she followed after.
And her face faultered for a split second. "What now?" If she let him? A sense of personal space and hesitance had her frowning lightly. "Unless you're a doctor of sorts and can point out more than the obvious, I'd rather not." Paws like unnoticed ice padded numbly across the wooden floors, and she peeked carelessly at passing rooms. "As to how...I had a run in with Grim." She didn't want to saw Death, and figured Grim could be interpretated loosely enough to get by.

"Woman?" Majora paused at that, her lips slowly curling upward until her fangs could be thrust forward in a grin that wasn't at all friendly. "I am no woman! I am a god!" She shrieked with laughter, and the earth itself suddenly seemed to tremble under her paws. "Make no mistake," She hissed, and her eyes gleamed in the slowly darkening air, "You silly mortals...You can't even appreciate a good game, even when I try so hard to play with you!"
A harsh, rasping cackle burst wildly from the female, who stalked forward to jab at Soul with a paw. "You want to hit me?! You wouldn't dare! Go on and try it, tee hee hee! I bet you won't, you stupid boy..." She goaded, deciding that she simultaneously hated and was delighted with Soul's presence. What an infurirating, hilarious boy! She wanted to box his ears!
"More than you know, I'm afraid." He nodded idly, and seemed to be done with that particular situation. He didn't want to talk about it. Bad enough that the American had dragged it out of him, but Setsu, too? No, no, he'd hold off on that bonding moment till much later...or never. It wasn't something he could talk about so easily...
He canted his head lightly at her refusal, grinning idly. "No? Well, you could at least tell me how you wound up like that, eh?" She could do that much for him, right? Well, if not, it wasn't any skin off his nose. Settling himself in front of the fire, Luis stretched some with obvious enjoyment, allowing the heat to seep into his clothes and work itself against sore muscles.
A pause. "Grim? You mean the Reaper?" Brows lifted themselves curiously, but he didn't look at all suspicious. "Smoked a pipe, talked with a funny accent...?" Yes, he remembered his encounter with Grim. He didn't seem like a bad at all guy--then again, the topic of his death hadn't been brought up at all.

Blink. Soul gaped his mouth to this kitsu's bold claims. Why, they were even bolder than his own s**t! "A god, are ya?!" And the blackened male cracked up into a fit of laughter. Oh, oh! This was just too much! This female must have escaped an asylum somewheres! He was so bubbled with amusement, that he hardly noticed the shivering ground below him.
"A good name? Is that what this is all about? Then believe me when I say, I'm so famed that I'm double named! Soul-Lexis, now that's a godly name." A toothy grin was his final product of this silly topic. Then she dared touch him once again, and the large-framed male frowned darkly at her. With each word passing her muzzle, his ears lowered and slid back, taking no hesitation to her challenge. "Well, if you ask for it.." Then he wasn't at fault. Black paw lifted and swiped out without pause or pity, sure to slap the jester on the side of her face.
Really now? Setsu blinked and considered the other's words, but only of shallow depth. She didn't want to pry, no matter the amount of curiousity. That would make her a hypocrite, and she would despise herself for it. Everyone had their right to a closet of skeletons..
Seeing the fireplace, Setsu moved with more motivation beside it, just now realizing the numbness to her front 'fingers'. Everything else to her was covered in fur lining, ensuring some hold of warmth to a corpse. Sitting back on her haunches, front paws were held out near the fireplace, languidly storing in warmth. "I suppose. It'll let time pass from whatever is outside." That had been odd, and something not soon forgotten. Just another reason to keep a watchful eye.
Eyes widened slightly to the other's sudden calling of Reaper, and she nodded before leaving her chin bent down towards the comforts of her furred 'choker'. "Oh, ou know him?" Funny accent, yes. But she hadn't seen him with a pipe, his hands had been too busy holding that scythe. Even now she couldn't help but glare cautiously about the room, the fire giving an anxious lighting to the room.

"Goddess." She corrected with an amused flash of her own eyes, grinning widely at his cackles. Funny, wasn't it? Ohh, she was tempted to make his guts crawl out his mouth and strangle him! Tapping her claws against the snow impatiently, she waited for him to finish his guffawing, chortling sweetly along with him to help him feel better about himself.
"Sooooul-Leeexy?" She crooned at him, tilting her head. "Majora beats that silly name anyday, you poor boy!" Unfortunately, the female failed to notice his slowly dropping ears, and grinned brightly at his words. That was when the slap came. Her head jerked to the side, eyes wide--and her grin even wider. A vicious surge of electricity crackled from her hair, leaping through her face and body to give his paw a nasty zap. She'd apparently planned that, cackling at him with amusement while her bandy tails swished furiously through the air. "Ohh, so you would hit me! Good! I hate people who are too scared to play with me!" Because pain = playing?
He was grateful in a sense that she'd dropped the topic without a fight, musing silently as he made himself more comfortable in front of the flickering flames. The warmth was soothing now, where it'd brought furious panic before. "So?" Luis prompted idly, glancing pointedly at her side. If she was willing to tell him, then by all means, he was ready to hear what had happened. "S'pretty nasty...got yourself in a scuffle?" He doubted that this was self-inflicted, whether an accident or not.
As her mismatched eyes widened, the Spaniard curiously hefted his brows. Oh? Strange reaction... "Had the chance of meeting him while having a smoke, eh? Told me that smoking was bad for my health." He seemed vaguely amused by the memory, particularly when the skeleton had drawn out a pipe soon afterwards. He'd been an interesting character, chatty enough and not threatening like Luis would have assumed.
"...I somehow get the feeling that your meeting wasn't as pleasant as mine." Luis idly offered, using his muzzle to idly fish in the front of his tunic before he drew out a cigarette. "Hope you don't mind, chica..." The butt of it was lit as he leaned forward towards the fire, inhaling with slow pleasure before blowing out a gentle stream of flitting smoke.

God, goddess, all the same. But that wasn't the point at this moment. And the insult to his name tasted bitter, but again he didn't care. Like he had said before, he only played games with others he knew. And their was only one other even worth knowing and playing such games. The thought had Soul smirking.
With paw frozen in the air after it's strike, he watched and waited. Her thorny face had been no fun to graze across, that was for certain. Wait....did he really just do that. Eyes blinked to see beyond the moment, and his sudden front of chivalry vanished just like his smokes. Uh-oh. Sound and touch and scent hit him all at once, but mostly the touch, burning and stinging his violent paw like snake fangs. Soul yelped as he jumped back an inch, glaring bewilderedly at Majora. Tails flared out behind him as a natural instinct of challenge and stubborness. "I suppose I would. Imagine that." And here he thought himself above that....apparently not. 8D; But what now, with a flaring opponent before him?
A sigh brushed through her useless lungs, eyes glossed by flame light turning tiredly to the other. Still curious, was he? Guess she was still too in the moment with the most recent events. Else she'd be quicker to reply, be it crudely or honestly. "Yep, but is it surprising?" What with her attitude, even she was amused that someone had struck out. "But I digress. My injury was from another kitsu and his...need, to guard his territory." Hmm, that was one way of putting it. They'd crossed paths and both were too stubborn to adjust. Her in a rush with Death stalking her, and him stubbornly holding his ground.
Scoffing, she turned back to the flame, finally dropping her paws to the ground. "It must not have been. Afterall, you're still breathing, and I'm....well, overdue." Nostrils flared before snuffing to the scent of smoke, not at all used to those habits. "They're your lungs..." She reached a paw over her side, not wanting the secondhand smoke coating the wound. "So? How have you faired of late?"

Ohh yes, those spines on her face had probably felt nasty, now hadn't they? Majora giggled delightedly to herself, bright eyes fixed on the paw that had dared to strike her before amusedly darting to his puffed out tails. He hadn't liked that, had he? Tee hee! It served him right, the brute! Ohh, she loved it--she'd commanded him to strike, and he'd done exactly what he'd been told to do! "Such a good boy." She crooned, the last few sparks of electricity crackling across her fur before they returned to the tips of her flailing mane and died.
"So?" She taunted slyly, arching her body before observing him over one shoulder. "Are you throuuuuugh?" Hm! At least he had spunk, she could give him that much. "Hee hee! You're fun to play with, but you like to whiiiiine...Do you cry if you get slapped back?" Majora teased, but also honestly wanted to know. Heavy paws twitched a little, as though tempted to test it themselves rather than wait for a response.
His lips curled themselves into a wry grin though he held his tongue on his own opinions for now, slivers of wisping smoke slipping past his teeth. "I suppose if people lack a certain degree of control...You're a lovely lady, really--it all boils down to a battle of wits in the end, eh?" The Spaniard chuckled to himself, quirking an ear at the mention of territory. Aiye-yi-yi, it sounded pretty primitive, but who was he to judge? Setsu tended to be a bit more blunt than most, so it was natural to assume that some would take offense and even attack her for her impudence--a certain ghastly wraith came to mind almost immediately.
"Overdue?" Luis repeated idly, musing as he processed that new bit of information. The skeleton had indeed claimed to be the Grim Reaper...had he tried to attack her because of her zombified state? Curious and curiouser. "Well, you've survived this long--Death doesn't seem to be able to catch you, either. Lung cancer hasn't caught up with me yet." He grinned quietly to himself. "Eh...Well enough. Still breathing, remotely healthy, though a tad too bored for my liking. Seems like you've been getting plenty of excitement though, no?" He quirked a brow.

Tails felt the eyes glaring delightedly at them, and with an angry flick they retreated from sight. "Teh." Why did she persist calling him boy. It was Soul-Lexis, he had clearly stated that just moments ago. The male stiffened his back in attempts to making himself look...taller. Stronger. She was still only a female afterall, nevermind the insanity and the powers.
"Sure, I'm through then." He could keep a cool head. He could rise above this situation and be the better kitsu. How hard was that? Muzzle twisted crookedly in a smirk. "What can I say, my twisted darling? I just love to complain." It was his job. One raven black brow arched to her little enlightenment. Would he cry if he got slapped back? He highly doubted it, though he may get highly flamboyant afterwords with hot air. "Let's not find out, eh." And that wasn't a question for her opinion.
Eyes blinked past the stream of smoke, and Setsu lifted a paw to delicately break the pattern of the gray. "Control?" Then she was doomed, as her level of control often clashed with those of others. "But even wits seemed to get burned, and I'm not one for playing games." Lovely lady, eh? Guess there was a first for everything. She let it pass without comment, instead glancing once more to her soaked side that was getting drier by the moment.
"Overdue, still running, zombie. Call it what you like. Point was that the skeleton knew the truth and had intentions to fix it." And of course she had denied him that chance, slipping away in a man made sandstorm. Belts and cloth folded over as she adjusted, choosing instead to sit upright and lean against the wall, having full view of the room before her. Attention slid back to the smoking Spaniard. "Ah, those are nice blessings. Or are they? What is there to be had if you're unamused?" Her muzzle scrunched with a scoff. "By all means, take it then." She had enough exci....well, action to last her for weeks.

Hee! Well look at him, puffing himself up like an overfed puffin! She hoped he didn't really think he was fooling anyone but himself! "Kekeke...That's a good loser-boy! It's so much better when we can all just get along..." As though it wasn't in her blood to stir up as much trouble as she could. Tilting her spined face towards him, Majora grinned and giggled at his words, apparently satisfied enough with that. "Hee hee! Just as long as all those words don't make you run out of breath!"
Oh? He was tempting her now, she could see it. Her paws twitched again before the female sleekly sank into a stretch and feigned indifference. "Tee hee...Ohh, I think we will, boy. But later." She said absently, eyes flaring once with a wicked glint. "I'll see you again, don't you worry...after all, this was only round one, tee hee! Unless you like losing..." Cackling once more, she began to saunter off into the woods, quite pleased with this little romp in the woods.
As the smoke scattered in offended huffs past the paw that dared to swipe at it, Luis couldn't help but ruminate. "Cleverness often does." With it, wagging tongues seemed almost certain to follow--and a considerable amount of painful regret. Or just pain. It depended, he grinned quietly to himself, on just who one had the misfortune of mouthing off to. Her glance caught his attention, and he had to resist the urge to wrinkle his nose at the smell of drying blood. "Might want to start cleaning that up, chica..."
He idly bit his tongue to keep from adding his own titles to her less-than-flattering list, one ear perking faintly. "So he wasn't a fraud? Mm..." Sounded unfortunate for her, at least. Did that mean that walking bag of bones knew just when people were supposed to die? Lead him not into temptation, but... "Too true." Luis chuckled, her cynical views again provoking a sense of amusement from him. "If only I could, eh? S'been a while since anything's tried to rip out my throat--I suppose it'd border on masochism to say I miss it."

Puffin? What the heck was that? Was it...dare say...a drug he'd never heard of before? Dx "I am no loser-boy. I'm a diplomatic kitsu in search of higher peace in negotions. Therefore, I win. So nyahhhh~." Sigh. And she was right, winning did take alot of breath outta you. No wonder he prefered rowdy 'negotiations' compared to this formal speech approach. But against a psycho like Majora, a few breaths seemed more worth than some missing fur. And inside, he was rejoicing like mad when the femme finally declared she was bored with him. YES! Freedom!
"Heh, round one eh?" Well I look forward to winning round two also." Oh he was no dim-witted kitsu. A fool, certainly, but also a slick wit. And if she was to bait his skin in aggitation, he could kindly return the favor. With tails flicking glamorously, Soul turned on his heel with chin up. Giving his own saunter to his steps, he made way in the opposite direction, making sure to never play games with females again.
That's right, it must be like a retched smell now; a corpse. Setsu lifted a paw to her eyes, already able to feel the hollowing of the skin under said orbs. Too much energy burnt in one span of time. She felt like dry-heaving.
"No fraud." The kitsu adjusted herself to move, nails clicking the wood while wet boots squeaked. His chuckle had went without concern, it's rythmic pattern heard before. But his statement had her fall deathly silent. Not pressuring, not kindly, just...quiet. Her eyes slid and bore to the other kitsu, as if waiting for him to specify why. Of all the things to taunt about, what made the throat his base target to speak of. Blood flowing, frail framing, it was a sure deathblow...
"Hm?" What had he said? Eyes blinked after their hold, overly dry by the fire warmed air. "Masochism, are you really." It was more like something already guessed than a question. Steps were finally made as the femme swept her tails, making way to the hallway. "Any objective to live by is better than none at all, I suppose." And with that said, the undead exited the room, slowly obsering each door that passed until she'd come across any tiled room. Should this building have any.
