"Well, as I said before," Amara started as she carefully placed her hooves back on better ground, "you can decide things with your companion when the time comes. I won't dictate your life for you. And don't mind me. Snow is rather difficult to move in. I mean, when the weather gets bad and makes the seas rage in many directions, isn't it harder to swim in? Snow is kind of like the sea. Beautiful but you have to take precaution."

"I actually do get what your saying, the ocean is harder to swim in, but sometimes the currents and things it causes are exciting." He smiled at her. "First things first though, I'd have to find a companion to put up with me on more than one occassion." He snorted in laughter at the thought. "And you've actually been quite helpful, no wonder I got weird looks before when I was so adamant that foals came from shells. And no wonder everyone gets so excited when a mare is pregnant."

A small smile crossed over the mare's face. She'd probably have to do more explaining like this when her foals grew up... this was good practice perhaps? "Well... I'm glad to be of some assistance to you I suppose then. Good luck trying to find someone. I'm sure it won't be too hard to find some nice mare. You're not that bad looking yourself." Carefully making her way back towards the woods, the mare turned around to gaze at the sea and the sky above.

He watched her for a minute after she left and then dived back into his nice, comforting sea. His mind was stuffed with new thoughts and information that the nice mare had supplied to him. Belatedly he realised that he had never even learned her name. He swam through the familiar currents, he'd just have to ask the next time they met.
