Standing up, Yves' ear pricked upwards. He wanted to play more than actually catch her, so he may as well make it a fun chase. Bounding off the rock, he darted after her, loping gently along rather than sprinting all out. The fluff on his tail bobbed gently as he went, the tufts on his ears whipping softly in the wind. A laugh came from his throat as he padded quickly along, quite a few feet behind Zaha at his current pace.

But to play, you needed to be up and active! Giggling almost in a mute whisper, Zaha spun around quickly to face Yves. She ducked own like a hyper puppy, tail wiggling in the air. Now what? Would he pounce? Would he run? The female smiled openly at the other, before skipping forward. She came close enough to the other where she swept her paws lightly at him, like playful antagonizing.

Yves froze in his tracks, eyes keenly watching Zaha as she spun around. Crouching down, his tail quivered softly where he stood, ears forward and alert. Startling softly as she drew closer, he rose up slightly on his hind legs at she went to bat at him, playfully swatting at her tail as she did so. Coming back down onto all fours, he took off at a light run, sliding a bit in the snow that was left on the ground.

Tuffs gave a shake or two as Zaha eyed Yves, pondering what he'd do. And her paws continued their soft battings, maybe only touching his fur once. But when the other stood, she meeped lightly, springing back a few feet and ducking her tail when it was bopped. Zaha tilted her head around just in time to see him dash off before she made to run after him. She couldn't help but giggle at his slips as she pounced the snow with ease.

He had to admit, running through melting snow wasn't as easy as he had remembered it. What to do, what to do... Ears pricking forward, he sped up slightly, jumping back up onto the boulder he had been perched on before- slipping, quite ungracefully, off of the other side.

Zaha was already panting with the effort to keep up. Like she said, short legs. Besides, she was more snow built, and that meant bigger paws and thicker fur to slow her down. Ears pricked up suddenly, seeing that they had aimed back to the original rock. What was he up to? She gasped lightly as he bounded onto the stone and slid right out of view to the other side. "Yves! Are you alright Yves?" Zaha pause some distance away, catching her breath and checking that the other was indeed safe.

Shaking his fur, Yves stood, sending snow flying everywhere. He was indeed unharmed, one ear flattened to the side in an expression of half-embarrassment. "Quite fine," he replied, holding back a laugh at his own clumsiness, "It wasn't that bad of a fall, after all."

Zaha stared a second long to see if he was lying. But no, he did seem fine. Tilting her head, she sat down beside the stone quietly. Well, now what? The tag game was over, was it? White muzzle opened in a soft yawn as the ulaya pondered what to do or say next.

Arching his back carefully for a moment to stretch it, Yves hopped up upon the large rock again, settling himself down in another sun-warmed spot. Reaching down a large paw, he teasingly batted at her ear tufts, tail twitching fervently behind him.

Zaha watched as Yves made his way back on the rock before her attention fell back on the clouds. It was a nice day today, just cool enough to keep some snow. And it'd be the last for quite some time. Ears slapped back to the surprise battings, Zaha smiling back at Yves. "Hey, those are sensitive you know."

Yves' tail flicked a bit more, the tiny tuft of fur wriggling behind him. He grinned broadly, large paw hanging down lazily over the face of the rock. "I'm sorry," he replied, lifting it again to teasingly bat once more at the tops of her ears, "I just can't help myself~"

The female remained on her ground perch, blinking at the other ulaya. She would lean and tilt as she avoided the lazy swings of his paw. One brow rose to his antics, and she nipped kindly to his paw, seeing what would make it pull away.

A soft snort came from Yves' throat, before he shook his paw a bit in attempt to get it away from Zaha's nipping. Taking another gentle bat at her ear tufts, he stretched out and rolled over onto his back, the sun's rays gently warming his dark-hued belly.

A soft giggle left the girl as Yves behaved much like a cat. Wincing as another batting reached her ears, Zaha blinked open an eye to see the other adjusting. Now he was upside down while still facing her. "You tired?" And she smiled faintly as her own paws reached out to grasp both his ear tuffs. Hah!

Lazily, Yves attempted for a moment to lift his head out of Zaha's reach, but gave up soon to allow his ears to be played with. He grinned broadly, looking at her upside-down. "Ehh... a little, I would guess." he replied simply, tail flicking a bit behind him, "All of this running and laying around has drained me." He laughed softly, teeth showing in a broad smile. His large paws reached out again, playfully pushing at her paws and arms, with no intent at all of actually wanting her to leave him alone. He rather enjoyed this one's company, after all.
