She laughed as the little foal careened into her legs and made her wobble a bit. "Careful ... it's just your tail." She leaned down and nuzzled him gently. He'd have to get used to that being there. Somehow he'd gotten lucky enough to get his father's tail rather than one like hers.
Her eyes widened as the big white thing came over and touched her. She didn't know what to make of him and huffed at him slightly as she tried to wiggle herself free of her basket. She'd done a right fine job of tucking herself in there well enough that she was a mess of tangled up legs.

"Careful." He murmured as he reached into the basket, taking a gentle hold of the white tuft at the end of a small tail, giving it a light tug in an attempt to straighten at least one part of tangled limbs out. With that little huff... She was definately Alysida's daughter.
He stared up at the bigger thing once more, eyes wide in awe. She was the same color as the inside of his basket had been, nice and dark. Deciding that he liked her he closed his eyes, leaning his head against one of the legs beside him.

It was amazing to see Telikos's markings spread out on a dark base like her own body. She knew they had been his foals but to see it ...
They were just perfect. She rested her cheek against the little head for a moment before she looked up to see how Teli was coming with the other foal.
As he tugged at her tail she turned her head to nudge his head away. She could do it herself. At least she thought she could but that wavered slightly as she tumbled sideways. She was out of the basket though but getting her feet under her was going to be a different story.

"Stubborn mule..." He muttered softly, leaning down to give the tiny tail another tug before lightly nudging her side to help her back to her feet. "First thing you're going to learn, little one, is that every now and then it helps to accept the aide of a stallion..."
He nuzzled his head up against whatever it was touching him, shifting with a little wiggle before looking up. Standing was a good thing, he had decided... He was going to have to try and do it more often... Stepping, now, was another story.

She wiggled herself onto her feet with the aid of Telikos' nose and stood still while she got herself used to the idea. It felt odd to be up like this after being curled up in a basket for so long.
She shook her head. She had always been able to accept the help of others it just took her having to fail on her own first before she did so. "At least she has a good spirit"

"She is, most certainly, your daughter." He snorted softly as he shook his head before looking down at the little one. "How foolish of me to hope I might have a daughter that would let me be a father without huffing at me..."

"You did pull her tail." She did have to admit though that it was nice having the little colt leaned up against her. It wasn't every day that a stallion, even if a miniature one, wanted her help with anything.
She looked between the two for a second before she looked up at the big white thing. She didn't understand a bit of what they were saying but she liked the way he sounded. She wanted to be like that!

"It got her attention." He snorted softly in his lady's direction before turning to glance down at their daughter. "That creature over there is your mother... Don't worry, she's not always that horrible. I am sure that she will treat you kindly even if she makes faces at me."
After a moment he straightened himself out, wobbling on his legs once more before taking a step. When he managed that wihtout falling he turned his head, glancing back towards the tall, black one. What was it the white one had just called her?

"I only make faces at you when you deserve it." She eyed him for a moment before looking back down to the foal as he moved. "Go ahead ... mommy's watching." She wasn't about to miss her little ones trying to walk.
She straightened up a bit and waddled herself carefully closer to the big white thing. She nickered softly as she stood still again and tried to stand as straight as he was.

"Don't listen to her... She makes faces when I'm not looking sometimes." He smiled down at his daughter. "I'm sure she'll teach you how to make all sorts of faces... And then I'll just have to teach you which sort of faces are made to counter those ones if they're ever given to you."
His tail flickered once more and he turned to eye it, staring at it long and hard as it continued to swish. Instead of walking over towards the white one he turned his head, trying to catch the swishing thing in his teeth only to tumble back down to the ground when his reach caught him off guard.

"I only make faces at you when you deserve it." She grinned as she looked over at Telikos and their daughter. "You'll learn fast kiddo that he likes to make himself look better by telling stories. Takes a bit before you learn which are truth and which are stretched"
When the little foal by her feet fell over again she looked down at him. He seemed to not know what to do with that tail of his.
She shook her head and them stumbled as that threw her off balance. She'd have to remember not to do that until she had this whole upward thing down.

"We are going to have to do something about all of this falling." He leaned down, giving the filly another gentle nudge before carefully stepping over her, making his way towards the colt. "... And you." He caught his son's tail carefully between his teeth, giving it a gentle tug. "This is a part of you..."
His eyes went wide as the large, white creature grabbed onto the thing he'd been trying to catch. Only when he felt the tug did he realize that something was off. That was part of him! He watched it swish for a moment longer before standing back up, finding it easier to do so this time. It was, from there, just as easy to take an awkward step towards the large, dark creature... What was it that she'd called herself?

She leaned down and touched her nose gently to the colts. "It's your tail. Won't do you any good to chase it, you'll never catch it." She laughed softly. "Chasing tails always gets you into trouble... remember that"
She scrambled back to her feet and wobbled a bit before she managed to follow after the large thing. She didn't want to get left behind!

"Isn't it a bit early to be teaching him that?" He smirked as he looked at Alysida before glancing back over his shoulder at the filly; his daughter. "Shouldn't we at least give them names before you start lecturing him on how he's to treat mares once he's older?"
He tilted his head slightly, eying the nose that was touching his before pressing back against it. He could do the whole nose touching thing easily... It didn't require walking or falling or tugging or chasing.

"It's never too early to be teaching them that. If it gets stuck early he'll be less likely to do it." She nodded slightly and nuzzled her son gently. "... they seem almost like day and night you know." The colors they had been granted with almost seemed like the sun at dawn and dusk.
She bumped into her Telikos' back leg as he stopped. She hadn't been paying much attention but at least she wobbled toward him and leaned against him instead of falling.
