Ours is going to be a Western theme, but I don't know what songs are actually in it. The only song I heard was "Wild Wild West" by Will Smith. o___O
I should pay more attention. xD

iceboxxplayssax we're doing "harmonic journey", the phantom regiment's 03 show. one of the movements is like canon in d, but thats all i know. its pretty aweome CAN I JOIN UR SCHOOL?!?!?!?! gGAHHHHHHHH PHANTOM REGIMENT <3 dang... idk what our school is doing this year

Our show is going to be called "A Knight at the Opera" and we're gonna play Phantom of the Opera music.

sigh. my BD was right in saying that Chicago is an overdone show.... as you may figure he refuses in doing a chicago show.
Daski-chan We did a Earth Wind and Fire show for our 2006 season. it was awesome *pulls out music and Drill* I admit, we did have a piece arranged specifically for us (that would be drum song) anyways. the pieces we played were quite saxophone/trumpet dominant. we played drum song as the opener. In the stone next, After the Love is Gone featuring a Tenor sax solo and a Trumpet solo then Getaway/september was our closer.
now for the update. nothing exicting. we still don't know our theme for next year. i suppose i could ask one of our drum majors. she sits next to me in history. but she probably doesn't know. our BD tells everyone on the same day.

my director was thinking a sixties theme
I would kill to play penny lane on a piccolo trumpet as a solo in that show
THAT WOULD COMPLETE MY LIFE!
but yeah, OF COURSE we are gunna play aquarius DUH
i am kinda excited about that
we saw a sixties themed show on my director's DCI dvd from a couple of years ago, and the aquarius song was freaking amazing!

Hmm...one of our band directors said that they were thinking of our show theme being called "A Blessing and a Curse."
But we won't know for sure until later on before the summer, I suppose.
Then again, our band director DID say this recently:
"Yes, the rumors you've heard about our show for next year are true. It shall be "My Little Pony Versus The Little Mermaid." Prepare to see lots of pink and purple on the field!"

we're doing Spy Vs. Spy. It's going to European spy movies/tv shows against american spy movies/tv shows. it's going to be awesome! plus i think there is going to be a trumpetg solo! mrgreen

OKay well I wont know what the upcoming show for the new marching season will be until around may or so but... my BD likes to use contemporary/jazz selections This year we played music by Bill Chase (Open Up Wide, Handbags And Gladrags, and Get It On)
year before that it was music by T.O.P.(Tower Of Power)
