id have to say Eagle Ridge. We did it in 5th grade and it sounded amazing!! This year we also did a song called bristol bay legend which i LOVEDDD also biggrin

In Wind Ensemble we've played Bridgeview Overture, Chorale and Shaker Dance, Shape Shifter, Gaelic Rhapsody, British Eighth, Amazing Grace, Cajun Folk Songs, Deep River Suite, and a lot of popular music, like the Mash Song, Theme of Summer of '42, The Way We Were, Imagine, This Used to Be My Playground, MacArthur Park, The Greatest Love of All, The Dance, El Condor Pasa, and a bunch more...I love them all!
In Concert Band we've play songs from this 2 book series called "Movie Favorites" and "Broadway Favorites"...we play songs like Theme of Zorro, Theme of Pirates of the Carribbean, Raiders March (indiana jones), ET, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and Tomorrow (annie), Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Edelweiss (sound of music), Go Go Go Joseph (joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat), Memory (cats), and Don't Cry for me Argentina (evita) and a bunch more....man, i'm so glad i'm in both wind ensemble and concert band! the music we play ROCKS!!!

Candide! Yes, it's an alright song, but for me personally, it holds many good memories of a time when for a brief period of hope, I was not depressed. I miss those happy days...Candide was the song I practised every day for long hours...I was only a sophomore. *Sighs* Other songs are better, I know, but when I hear Candide, I feel awesome.

In my band, we compose our own songs, but I think my favourite one to play is "Somber", because I have a HUGE part in it (OOH, keyboard flute solo!) I have to play two keyboards at once, one doing my chord sequence in a tinkly sound, the other playing the part which used to belong to the flutist before she left, which sounds really cool! Woot!
