That name triggered something. Kea? Not many called her that either... Oh how confusing this was to the poor bright crimson lioness! She stopped, hearing his please before sighing. "Don't what?" She said in a murmur. "Go?" She finished, ears perking slightly as if she were intrigued. Her body language still was that of a washed out old lion whom just lost the world.
"Look, I don't know you, or at least I don't remember knowing you. As much as I try to remember my past, I see twins, but they were not you and I. I see other cubs, but none that looked like me." She said quietly. "If you are who you say you are, then whatever happened between us was meant to be forgotten." She stated. "At least, that's what my mind is telling me."

He grunted and sat down, slumped. "Sounds about right." He said quietly. "You're thinking about Damu and Haba. They look more like mum any how... they were always together. Damu didn't really like family time though, only time with his twin. We look more like father.." He trailed off and glanced up, watching her.
So truly she'd forgotten. This wasn't some nasty trick played against him... "You probably forgot me since I was so horrible to you.." He gave a pathetic chuckle but it died pretty quickly. "I used.... i used to think having a twin was bad... that you had part of my soul cut away from me and placed inside of you... essentially you were me... and... it terrified me..." Why was he telling her this? He'd never ever said these thoughts out loud.

" I see..." She quirked an eyebrow. "Well...that's just silly." She sat were she was, not inching towards, nor away from her 'brother' she had 'just' become acquainted with after so long. "I mean...twins are just something natural and rare. A gift, some would call it." She said smiling. Yes, a gift. Where she had heard that she didn't remember. "Why would you think such an awful thought anyways." She place a paw in the dirt, drawing little lines with her claws. "A twin would never be evil to another twin. Just...to others." At this, she grinned.

He frowned thoughtfully and shrugged, shaking his head. "I don't know." He said quietly. He never knew why he thought that but... he just had. "Imagination was strong as a kid I guess..."
At her slight joke he glanced to her again and found himself smiling. "Perhaps we should have been evil to others... and not me being evil to you..."

SHe shrugged. Well, this was turning out to be a rather...pleasant conversation. In a sick twisted sort of way with a look a like claiming to be a twin...Ah well biggrin This was Africa! Anything was bound to happen here, right?
"Well /brother/" She smirked, finally admitting to him that she had accepted that fact he was who he said, "cub twins don't always have to be the evil ones you know." The devious little mind of hers had begun to spin. "Adults can cause mayem too." This was the time she could...make up with her brother right? Well...sort of, if only she knew of the other's mate.

He smirked slightly and shook his head, sighing. This Keaira was much different than she was as a cub... feisty but always warm hearted... always wanting to tag along with him and he'd never let her... He wasn't quite sure how to handle her yet.
"Ah but I can't cause mayhem here.." He said honestly, smiling shyly as he glanced away from his sister. His mate was a funny subject toward his family, since his father was such... such an a*****e. "I have a mate here and I am waiting to join... I am sure they would not let me be a part of this pride if I caused trouble." He chuckled and glanced to her. "I am sure my Roho would not appreciate it either. Not that the big dummy would catch on that fast.." He muttered.
This was... nice. Talking with his sister... his twin... it was just too bad it had taken so long. And for her to forget about him.

Wait? Mate? Him? no way. But they were twins. They couldn't do things separetely now since they had been away for so long! They needed to make up so much lost time...but how was this going to happen if Azi wanted to join a pride that his mate was in. Well...this would be a dilemna now wouldn't it?
Hmm... Kea was lost in though. "A mate?" she said afterwards, sighing slightly. So time couldn't be renewed anymore, could it. "Well...Congratulations" I think. "A pretty lucky lioness I bet, right?" She said smiling, as if the previous altercation had never happened. "Expecting cubs anytime?" At this, she gave him a little wink, grinning.

He felt a little flustered at this. You say mate and every one automatically assumes it is a female.. though he supposed males loving other males was not so common. But he felt as though Roho was his soul mate. "Actually we can't have cubs.." He said first, and almost felt a little relieved at that. But he knew Roho would want a family very much and that made him feel a bit sad.
"Because she is actually a he.." He watched her carefully. Good or bad? "But he is very pretty." He joked to her. "Maybe you can meet him."

As he said this, the thought dawned on her. "Oh...she's one of those lions, isn't she?" By this, she meant one that were incapable of not producing. But she was completely wrong when he said she was actually a he. "You mean...lion? not...ess?" She blinked. Okay, so she never really realized that could actually be a possibility, but hey, whatever Azima fancied was his choice wasn't it? She shrugged. "Well, at least he's pretty." She said afterwards. What else could she say?
"Perhaps sometime." She said shortly

Ah this was starting to feel a little awkward, like they'd run out of things to talk about. Oh! "Do you have a mate yet?" He asked suddenly, a little suspicious. Kea shouldn't hang around with boys, that was the first thought that had popped into his head. The second? How ridiculous it was that he was feeling protective over her.
"I mean... er. Yeah. That, have you met anyone yet?"

Well, this could be a chance to actually fool the lion whom was standing in front of her. "Well...I actually /have/ met a lion, you know." She said. "In fact, just recently too." Her blue eyes sparkled a little bit. "He's not such a big lion, but still, we've had our little ins and outs on things. Just a big oaf." At this she snickered, glancing towards the boundaries of the pridelands. She wondered if Azima would gather the fact she was actually talking about him. Afterall, she never really stopped to chat with others. She just kept on wandering until she was to tired to walk anymore.

He blinked and stared at her and then he frowned. The thought that she was teasing him and speaking of him and not some stranger never crossed his mind, he was making reference to mates after all. "He sounds like a loser, you should ditch him." He scoffed, mostly because he thought it was indecent for his sister to be with a male. Any of his sisters, he realized. Even if he didn't speak to any of them!
Oh the poor boy, usually he was quicker to think things through than this. He sounded as if he was taking after his mate with his slow-witted words.

"A loser?" She chuckled. "I guess you could say he is a little bit of a loser. With his red fur with black accent marks on it." She giggled. Oh yeah, her brother was clueless. How could she possibly be related to someone of this...caliber? She snorted, flipping dirt in his direction. "I guess I'll just /ditch/ him now, eh?" She snorted, chuckling to herself. Azima was bound to get it one day...right? Perhaps if now not the time, then another would be good. Maybe...in a few years. She hoped the twin wasn't /that/ thick. She couldn't handle if it he was.

He stared at her until realization dawned on him and he grunted. "Hey!" He looked shocked. "I take that back, he sounds like a fantastic male. Now shut up, don't say that sort of stuff." He muttered, tail lashing behind him.
So she wouldn't tell him if she'd met anyone? Then fine! "Anyhow... will you be around in the pridelands for a few days?" He asked, trying to sound casual.

She cracked up laughing once he figured out he figured out she was talking about him. "Oh, I just kid, chill." She grinned, slinking towards teh look a like twin. With a shrug of petite shoulders, she shook her head in a 'i don't know' fashion. "I might be. Just stay here to get rest before I travel again. More places to see, lions to meet, and then maybe go back to mum and dad...Maybe." She didn't know if that would be a wise idea. But to see the others again, now that owuld be nice.
