they're a pretty radtastic band...I'm perticularly found of Maps and Art Star.

there are tons of other women in modern rock that don't sing about "love me, i'm vulnerable".
i like the yeah yeah yeahs and evanescence. they're pretty good. but there are loads of bands that are better.

Well since you brought it up you should suggest some I mean I have one how bout Pj Harvey? Hole? Courtney Love is a sell out but what about her?

PJ Harvey is a goddess. Few people give her the respect she deserves. I love you just for mentioning her heart I quite like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The music is fun and Karen O sounds like a very interesting person. Not really a fan of Evanescence
but I do admit that Amy Lee has a great voice.

Evanescense is OK...

Although I must say Amy-Lee is wwaaaaaaaaaayyy to much of a drama queen for her own good...

The CD has to much sadness in it...

And the sound of the songs seem all the same for alot of them...

You know, the piano intro, then Amy Lee droning/singing

Now there's a band. I'd go as far as to say that the lead singer and Amy Lee are the only two recent women of modern rock who don't suck who sing about something other than "love me, I'm vulnerable." Yes, I know My Immortal is like that. But the Yeah Yeah Yeahs just thrash it up and kick a**. What do you all think of them?

Sure the Yeah yeah yeah's are great and Amy lee is too....but you think they are the only good female singers out there? What about the Stars and the Deers. There are plenty of female rockers out there.
