Cloud grinned in reply to that healthy laughter. "True enough. Ive eaten some weird things in my time I suppose."
Tilting his head he watched the other as green-hued stallion looked almost puzzled in thoughtfulness. Arching his neck he tried to look at his own chest also, without bopping the other male on the head as he did so.
The warm puff of breath on his fur made his skin twitch reflexively, but he certainly didn't mind and stayed still, watching the other. Dipping his head in agreement he briefly went cross-eyed to see the end of his nose, but failed. "Ive heard rumours of one or two, but nothing for certain and Ive not seen any. But.. there are already two of us, perhaps there really are more." Giving up with his own nose he peered at the others, ears pricked curiously. He hadn't been able to see his own marking so took the opportunity to study Ayden's.

Ayden held still, rather tempted to puff out his chest under the other's scrutiny. He gave his new friend (for, already, Ayden seemed to consider him such) a good view of all of his markings by lifting his head slightly, tilting his head upwards a bit to display the heart-shaped marking upon his nose.
"Yeah! It's like brown Soquili, right? There's tons of them out there, and each one unique! Or striped." His eyes shone as an idea popped into his rather scatter-brained mind. "Hey! Would you like to see if we can find one? Just to prove it?" He lifted his left front hoof of the the ground, swishing his tail excitedly.

Cloud was more than happy to consider the other a friend and would have been pleased to know the sentiment was returned. He studied the other's heart shaped mark on his nose, then the clover. Finally he lifted his head and grinned at the suggestion, eyes sparkling with excitment.
"Now thats a good idea!" He thought for a moment then smiled, his own short tail fluffing up over his rump. "So the defining marks of our breed is the heart on the nose, a white belly and something on the chest?"

Ayden preened, arching his neck and dancing in place. It was rare that his ideas turned out to be more then fruitless attempts at scaling some large mountain... and even more rare that he managed to stay clean on his many adventures.
"I believe so... we both have them, so that would make sense!" Of course, many things made sense to Ayden, if he thought about them long enough.
He looked about at the land around them, suddenly awestruck by the sheer expanse of the very meadow in which they stood. "... Where do those like us like to hang out?" He looked to Cloud, his eyes widened. Where would they start?

Cloud grinned at the prancing stallion, amused by the male's happiness. He looked about briefly as Ayden spoke, ears flicking in thought before he returned his steal-hued gaze to the emerald male.
"Truth be told I have no idea. But there are none close to here or from the direction I came." He lifted his nose and nudged to the land over his shoulder. Turning back he appeared thoughtfull for a while before eyeing the forest off to the side, in the distance. "How about over there? Its a start." He suggested curiously.

Ayden looked the way the other stallion had pointed, and perked up. Any direction was better then none! And in any case, if they found no-one there, they could always chose another. "Right! Off we go!" He gathered his hindquarters beneath him, and sprung off the ground. His hooves churned the air, and when he landed he was already moving at a flat-out gallop. He moved at break-neck speed for a few moments, tail flowing behind him like a banner, eyes sparkling with the on-coming adventure... and then stopped, turned, and galloped back, a frown furrowing his brow.
... "Aren't you coming?"

Blue muscles jumped as the other suddenly launched himself into the air. Amused Cloud could only stand and watch for the few seconds that the other charged across the grass. As Ayden turned, Cloud came to his senses and laughed, watching as the other circled behind him.
"Of course! Race you to the fringe!" He called playfully as ocean-hued feathers were suddenly lost in a blur of speed as he took off, legs stretching out over the emerald carpet. Heavy muscles powered the male at an astonishing rate across the pasture, short blue tail a puff tossed behind the male.

"HEEEY!" Ayden shouted after Cloud, his voice wobbling slightly. "No faiiiir~ You got a head start!" His hooves churned the ground for a few seconds, then he bucked half-heartedly and raced off after Cloud.
Once more, his head became level with his back as he stretched out in an effort to gain more speed. He dug in deep with his forelegs, pushing off the ground with his hind.
Laughter echoed across the meadow, as Ayden chased after his fleeing friend.

Blue ears flicked back as Cloud heard Ayden catch him up. Looking behind as he felt the other stallion close he laughed in reply, short tail flicking as he fly-bucked before finding his top gear and with legs a blur, the heavily muscled male showed a rare speed, long strides eating up the ground as he shot like a bullet towards the forest edge.
