FLCL = Genius
Anime: Loved it. 6 Espisodes of pure randomness (to an extent) There WAS a plotline, it did make sense, it has hidden meaning to it. (I've studied this anime so much, it's almost deep to me XD) I got my hands on a used copy of the first DVD for $15, I was so happy.
Manga: I have no idea what went on there. It was like...whoa, what just happened? I didn't finish it.
Different Note! Q-Ko-Chan: manga written by the creators of FLCL. Enjoyable manga about alien girls and mechs (Yay!) Kinda confusing at the end though. I thought I knew what was going on, then it just ended. I recommend it though! You'll love it!
Other Stuff!
The english version of FLCL has two more episodes than the japanese version! There was a parody of South Park in a scene of FLCL. FLCL makes refrences to certain pop culture and other mech animes like Gundam and Evangelion.

I loved this show A+. Cause at times there was a little drama in it. Also I liked the 3rd vol. dvds extras (The Ride On Shooting Star Vid) And it had some of the best music and introduced me to a great J-rock band The Pillows

i'm not fond of FLCL at all. it fell into my anime category of "main characters too young to be doing what they're doing" and this is a category i really dislike. the entire concept of furi kuri being a little kid doing something like that (or at least that's what i understood from it) was a little too softcore kiddie porn for me thanks. the show was funny and i think it would've been pretty good had the main character been at least in junior high rather than elementary school neutral
