Supposidly this Jewel is from a pack of werewolves, of the lunar race... Supposidly the Lunar race includes Kitsune, werewolves, vampires, demons all the sorts. I wonder if my father might have been related? Oh well. The jewel is called A teardrop of the moon... supposidly capable of good healing powers from what i''ve heard. (I did some reasearch =3) I guess thats why it''s being used to revive Akira.

I''ve had it about a day no.. and its just so full of life! I mean.. Taikobo was energetic. You could feel it.. but he had his calm serene moments, and still does... You couldn''t even feel too much from his pendent at first. But this.. its just bursting. S''kinda wierd. Its a nice energy though, very friendly. I''m not sure how you can tell.. its just there.

The cravings

Yep, its officall.. I''m getting "the cravings" (of doom) Not that its much different than i normally eat. Its just more.. i think.
Meat has become increasingly better looking.. but also candies. I never really was one for sweets.. twas allways niisan. But now i find myself sniffing out his secret stash in the middle of the night.
Just hope he doesn''t find out...

Arafel
The wereelf sighed, waddling over to the baby-pin. Several stiched up holes in the side. She placed the babywerewolf inside, finding out that ones stomach swelling could make thousands of simple tasks annoying. Like putting on shoes.
Atleast Akira went in willingly for once, looking up curiously at his "mother". Tail wagging vigorously.
"Don't chew through the pin this time..." she scolded lightly, looking exhausted as she turned around, walking off towards the call of one of her other children.

Akira sat there, watching her go with a pout. After a few seconds of sitting there pitifully he noticed his favorite chew toy, immediatly attacking it.

Freize
It could have been a normal day for Hatori. He could have just been awoken by the usual early morning wailing of Cougar and that bizarre leaf that had been hissing for God knows how long. He could have gotten up, dressed, and headed out to work. Unfortunately, Freize had to go out to buy some stuff, which meant... He was stuck watching Cougar. Because, even more unfortunately, Ajani could NOT be trusted with children. ESPECIALLY Cougar.

Still, this happened frequently. Nothing unusual. He usually ended up watching the kids (although his version of 'watching' was much different from Freize's... A much less protective approach.) Perhaps today was so different because Cougar had decided to launch an attack at his face. Hm, yes. Maybe that was it.

He pried the hyper-active child who was currently chanting "Ayayayayayah" or something along those lines off of his face and made his way to the baby pin. Arafel was here, and she had experience watching children- he was needed at his office. He couldn't stay for the usual child-physical-abuse. He was only a cursed human, after all. He dropped the squirming baby into the pin. "I'll be back this afternoon." Cougar gawked at him a moment, arms outstretched. He frowned when Hatori proceeded to walk away. What was up with this? He was rarely set down, unless he wanted to be. Hm. He turned to find he was in a foreign pin, and was not alone. He blinked owlishly towards Akira. "Aa?"

Arafel
Akira paused his maiming of the allready torn apart toy to glanced at his new cell-mate with wide eyes. He stared for a moment, tail lightly thudding against the floor of the pin. he slowly removed the toy from his mouth, grinning and waving awkwardly "Aadaa!"

Freize
Cougar was hesitant- he hadn't been socialized outside of the family very well as of yet... He soon beamed towards him and waved both hands enthusiastically. "Aayaya!" Thus was apparantly both his war cry and his greeting. Go figure. Babies are so hard to understand sometimes.. He was looking around their pin curiously, and then was back towards gaping at Akira. Yep. Cougar was already bored as heck.

Arafel
The toy went straight back the pup's mouth, soon to be covered in more drool. Akira TRIED to stay within the pin this time. He really did... Kids can just tell when their parents don't need anymore. And with some children.. this keeps them from doing anything.
With akira it kept him from doing anything for 5 minutes. The pup crawled over to the side of the pin, not having found a use for walking yet he wouldn't bother trying to. (he just crawls around on his hands and feet) At the netting he inspected it for a moment, tail ceasing its wagging for a moment as he thought... then picking a spot he started gnawing into it until a fang got lucky enough to snag and rip open the side of the pin. After that the rest was simple.

Humming a tune of sorts, or just going "Aalalalala" over and over he expertly backed through the hole to drop to the ground with a giggle.

Freize
Five minutes felt like eternity in hell for this boy, who probably had some sort of attention disorder and always had trouble sitting still. Freize decided that it was because of some speed power that he had in him, and since he was still so young it was affecting his activity somehow... Something like that. Surprisingly enough, the whole time he didn't move at all, with the exception of blinking. He just stared at Akira for awhile. Hey, nothing better to do, right? He pulled out a little pink fuzzy thing from his hair, where he often hid it. He liked it- it was soft and warm. He cuddled it for a moment, muttering some incoherent baby jibberish to himself.

He started when the other baby started moving, and watched him as he cut his way out. Cougar had been feeling a little bit stiff and awkward in this foreign pin- it was uncomfortable to be somewhere new for the little guy, but luckily for the two of them he rarely ever cried. He shrieked sometimes, but never cried. God knows why. He grinned as the hole was ripped, a toothy grin of about three teeth. He crept after him, peering out the hole curiously and then halfheartedly pushed himself out, Shirin tucked carefully under one arm, head-first. He landed on his head, but didn't seem to mind. He just rolled back up and looked around, clapping his hands. Freedom! He tucked Shirin back into the little hook of hair on his head that was beginning to grow.

Arafel
The boy clapped a bit as the other followed him out, apparently aplauding the others landing. Wow if only he could do that.
The furry canine ears twitched, hearing footsteps of his mother heading back to the room, even one his age knew that if he got caught outside of his pin he'd be in a load of trouble. So the only reasonable option...
Hide.
He quickly scurried to the nearby couch, shoving himself under it so he could peer out. "Aa-Aa!" he pointed frantically towards the hallway trying to warn the other child.

Freize
Cougar grinned happily. He was a ham, of course. A huge ham. Lucky for him he had an unbelievably hard head, and he hadn't left Shirin up there before making his grand escape. He was checking out his surroundings- now these were familiar, of course. He was at home. He knew this place like the back of his hand, and the back of Freize's (which he liked to gnaw on.) He would wait for his new companion to lead the way though, since he was the one that busted them out. He'd take control later- suddenly Akira was hiding, and he was left gawking after him. Eh? What was going on?

He blinked once or twice, pouting before noticing where he was pointing... He got it soon enough. Uh-oh. Even someone as young and fairly dense as Cougar knew that he would be in big trouble if what he thought was coming from the hallway emerged, and after a surprisingly quick short jolt of speed he was off on hands and needs, ducking away under the couch beside Akira. It was just a momentary thing, something that sometimes happened when he got stressed or worried about something. Some sort of wierd instinct thing that pulled up his hidden speed power.

Arafel
Akira blinked, impressed by the sudden speed he giggled, but quickly slapped his hands over his mouth to keep himself quiet and stare out from under the couch.

Arafel stepped back into the room holding a bottle "Akira I..." her eye twitched as she spotted the hole in the side of the pin. Sighing she set the bottle aside "Akira?" she looked around a bit worried... Who knew when he had gotten out "Akira?" Oh crud. God only knew where he was now...
The suddenlly paniced woman started running about the house trying to find the lost baby.

Akira watched her go with a worried expression.. should he feel bad? ...Naw. With that he pulled himself back out, tail wagging as he paused ot figure out what to do next. Where to go... Normally he got himself caught by now because he'd allready gone off adventuring. But this time he got to hide, he was free! woo.
But the question remained, now what?

Freize
Cougar placed his hands over his eyes as she entered the room. Ha. Now she definately couldn't see him. He was such a genius. Haha.. He listened to her as she began her calling for Akira, and then finally lowered his hands to peer out, seeing her begin her panicked run from the room. He beamed. He was too used to seeing Freize freak out about his frequently disapearing younger creatures (such as himself, Dinh, and that leaf that seemed to somehow be getting lost all over. Oh, and Spiro and Umi never told Freize on the rare occasion they left the house.) And he was always losing things and freaking out. So, seeing someone all panicky was nothing new. Just something he decided not to worry about.

He crawled on out after Akira, giggling happily at the fact they had managed to outwit his new friend's mother. "Aaayaya." He began to idly pat in little rythms on the floor, watching his companion expectantly. What would they be getting themselves into next? Well, they could always go find "Siyo"(Spiro) or "Mee"(Umi,) or bother some of the fluffy creatures Freize kept around. Hm.. Decisions, decisions. "Ri" (Hatori) seemed to have gone byebye, just like he usually did in the morning, so they wouldn't be able to find him. Oh well, he was boring anyways... Siyo let him use his colors, atleast, and would sometimes read him small stories. He liked that. It was almost like Freize... Ah, either way, it was Akira's call. He would just have to wait and find out what kind of adventure was coming up.

Arafel
Hm... The boy put on a throughtful look, rubbing the back of his head. Maybe.. no... AHA. Lightbulb. The boy giggled and clapped his hands in delight at his own idea. "Aa Aa." he grinned to his newfound friend, starting ot crawl off with a yip. Apparently he was getting tired of trying to talk like a human.

Down the hall, turn here... yep. and.. THE KITCHEN. The boy knew his way here from anywhere in the house. Ofcourse the border collie of Arafels was allready lazing about near his food dish. Probably the only border collie on earth that had a cause to be tired, with so many kids around he allways had something to chase.

Akira quickly barked to the other canine, tail wagging.

Reese's head perked up, ears twitching. Wierd kid... Why'd he want those stupid suger-balls anyways? Whatever. The dog slowly pushed itself to his feet trotting over to attempt getting the bowl of candy off the table.

Freize
The little one gaped owlishly at his new friend after he made that strange barking noise, but then beamed, finding it really cool. He let out some incoherent babble before following along behind his friend, glancing around.. Where were they... To the kitchen? Hm. There were lots of loud boom-bangy things in there (AKA pots and pans,) which Cougar loved of course but... The kitchen sometimes made him nervous because one of Freize's fluffy critters liked to stay in here, and last time it had gotten real rough with him when they were playing. He didn't like that fluffy so much.

He looked over- oh, one of the new fluffies? That must be one of Arararaf's. Hm... He looked between his companion and the dog, and then watched as the creature went for something up on the table, tilting his head and blinking... What was going on? The boom-bangies were close enough to reach on their own, and over by the counter, so that couldn't be it... What was his new friend trying to get to? Hm.

The old raccoon critter was curled up on the table, relaxing happily. The younger children couldn't reach him, so he was happiest up there. He did love to play with them, but every time he tried Freize always hollered at him. Hmph. He didn't like that in the least. He yawned widely, and started when the dog came in contact with his tail while trying to get the bowl. He drew himself up quickly and let out a strange garble-like growl, glowering at the dog menacingly, suddenly seeming more territorial than defensive. Of course, he normally didn't care what critters came into "his" kitchen, but he just didn't like being bothered. Especially whilst napping. And he was going to show that now. (It's his raccoon from the village XD HE GOT IT TO LIVE. SOMEHOW. The same way he got the majik that held back his curse.)

Arafel
Akira sat back, waiting a few moments before getting impatient and yipping at the dog persistantly.

Reese growled a bit int he back of his throat looking at the child irritably... this is why he never had kids. Peering up over the table at the racoon he blinked, backing down. He knew better than to mess with a racoon.
Trotting around ot the other side of the table he set his paws up on the surface, carefully reaching for the bowl.. alittle closer. Alittle closer...
The sound of something hitting the floor and shattering echoed through the room, several kinds of candy scattering about the kitchen. Along with broken glass.

Woo, perfect place for kids.

With that done the dog totted back to his spot by his dish, flopping back over to try and continue his well needed nap.

Akira grinned as a a few suckers skidded their way, quickly grabbing them up and passing one to Cougar. He fumbled at the wrapping, taking a bit of time to get it off but once the evil paper was gone the sucker was in his mouth in mere seconds.

Freize
The old creature chittered irritably at him, but seemed to relax after he backed down. Glancing towards the children curiously, then deciding they were no threat to him, he flopped back onto his belly and let out a slow sigh... And then he let out a startled screech-squeak as the glass broke, his fur bristling and he hopped on over to the counter, glowering black towards the table as if it were the devil. He slid into the sink and let out a yawn, curling up and relaxing once again.

Cougar was actually a bit startled when the glass fell- probably just because of what normally happened after glass broke in their house. Freize ran in yelling. He didn't like that part so much. He watched the raccoon warily, and then turned back to his friend when he couldn't see it anymore... He took the sucker and gaped at it as if it were some alien device... Freize had kept him away from candy. He watched Akira for awhile, and then mimicked him. Mm, what was this? Good. "Mmmammmnanmm."

Arafel
Akira hadn't really been expecting it.. but as long as he got his candy he didn't care. Grinning widely at his friends responce to the candy he pulled the sucker out of his mouth for a moment to tell him what it was "Saga!" he piped, putting the "saga" back in his mouth.

Arafel had been upstairs, and any NORMAL mom wouldn't have heard that. But she was far from normal, and heard the faint sound of somethign shattering. "Aha!" she shouted rather loudly, startling the poor napping yuki awake (he'd been getting alot of rest to make sure his rib healed fast) "Ack, sorry, go back to sleep..." Arafel got a half-awake blink befor ehte nezumi went right back out. And then.. out and back down the stairs as fast as a pregnent woman could.

Freize
Cougar tilted his head, blinking, pulling out the morsal and staring at it thoughtfully, tongue darting out over his lips. "Ss.... Saah... Saga?" And then he popped it back into his mouth and smiled brightly towards Akira.

Still wearing his cleaning outfit from the BKAC, Ajani burst into the kitchen, a dull humming following him from his blasting ipod. He walked right on up to the fridge, not even noticing the two kids nor the mess, simply going through the fridge. "Hmn..." He pulled out a bag of something, opened the bag and sniffed.. He grimaced. "Ugh, holy hell..." He made a choking noise and closed it hastily, tossing it into the sink behind him. He got an angry chittering and looked back with a frown, "Oh, sorry there Zabu." And then he went back to his hungry rummaging. Was more grocery shopping already in order?

Cougar looked towards Ajani, blinking once or twice. "Niinii" was home? Niinii should not be back yet. Oh well, Niinii was loads of fun and never got mad ever, so the little boy liked him plenty. But he didn't seem to notice them... Hm... The little guy glanced towards the irritated raccoon as it retreated the kitchen through an open window, and then looked between Ajani and Akira in a thoughtful sort of manner.

Arafel
Arafel burst into the kitchen "THERE YOU ARE. You're in big trouble!" she frowned at the baby, er.. babies. The woman huffed, having ran the entire way. Well... it was an awkward run, she'd probably get used to being pregnent just enough for her stomach to get bigger. Thank God they had stayed together.. << She never would have known Cougar was gone as well. Ofcourse for all Ajani knew she was yelling at him and not the two babies on the ground.

Though it baffled her how two babies could get the bowl of candy off the table...and.. She squeaked as realization hit her, what if they wer ehurt? there was broken glass everywhere nad .. oh god..
The woman paniced. Awkwardly falling down to check the two of them.

Akira just stared at her, tail wagging completely oblivious to the womans panic. He had candy. Candy goood.

Freize
Ajani didn't notice the woman at first, but after awhile he seemed to catch on he wasn't alone, and turned to notice her panicking. He blinked once or twice and pulled out his earbuds, "Huh? What's going on?" He turned completely and choked at what he saw. He muttered something under his breath and hurried to her side, "What happened here!?"

Cougar wasn't even paying attention anymore. He was just staring at the ceiling, pondering whether or not he should venture downstairs or upstairs. Just because he liked stairs. "Bhmbhm..."

Ajani moved forward quickly, scooping up Cougar, "What do you think you're doing, you little banshee?!" He tucked the squirming child under one arm. "... What a mess." He tossed the upset woman a smile, and then looked down towards the kid he currently held, "You shouldn't even be in the kitchen in the first place... Where did Hatori go, he was supposed to be watching you..." He sighed and rolled his eyes, smile lingering, "Well, cleaning crew to the rescue."

And with that he went to go fetch a broom, deciding it would be best for Arafel to deal with her own child. Cougar, meanwhile, was chanting, "Niiiniii" over and over and wriggling about in his grasp.

Arafel
Arafel sighed, scouping Akira up carefully. Atleas neither of them were hurt, thank God. "I thought I told you not to chew through the pin..." she glared at the baby as she held him at arms length.

Akira blinked giving her a cute innocent look and reaching for her with little whimpering noises.

She glared sternly at him "Don't give me that look. You know what you did.." okay maybe he didn't, but whatever.
The pups ears lowered as his tail tucked between his legs a bit. Hm.. there was a patten here. Break out of pin, Arafel gets mad...Stay in pin, get love. But he hadn't.. and now he wasn't being loved! He reached a bit more, whimpering louder.

Her look wavered before she caved, cradling the boy "Fine fine." she sighed, giving a defeated look as the boy clung to her happilly.

((Ara, you noticed that about the shops, too? Especially the marketplace. O.o; It like... went all around it, but didn't put a dent in the tent.))

Rime herded her children towards the beach, each wearing a brightly colored shirt that would help her keep an eye on them. She had also made sure they were wearing sunglasses to keep the glare from the water from them.

"Okay, kids! Let's get to this. This tower isn't going to clean itself up!"

She picked up the first peice of rubble herself, and looked around for the dumpster in which to put it.

Avery, instead of helping at first, stared about, and then immediately began climbing on one of the larger chunks of rubble for a better look.

"Avery! Come down from there!"

He ignored her.

Sybil carried rather small peices over to the dumpster, and waited for Rime to take them from her and toss them in.

Alida shrugged, and with a small notebook tucked into her back pocket, went about dragging some of the larger pieces along towards the dumpster. She wasn't sure how she was going to get them in there... but she figured she'd find someone to help.

Arafel
((it had a MISSION. o_O
and woo. finally i can post. o__o;; ))

Arafel was ofcourse, allready there. Her face had smeers of drit and black as well as her clothes from what she had allready done. A flailing baby strapped to her back as she tried to work on gathering the rubble. "Akira, stop moving.." she whined, the boy only making the task harder. But even with that she was caring things nearly three times her weight. She never really realized that it wasn't normal, so she just went along gathering up the larger chunks that no one else would probably be able to lift.

Yuki had come anyways, with the rib brace on he felt he could atleast come and watch. So he sat back on the sand, hugging his knees with one arm, eyes scanning over everything.
Ano..Arafel, Why did the tower colapse?

...Well... it could have just been lousy structure but... Sometimes people get too power hungry. And then they're bound to get a reality check, ya know? That could be why... The tower fell, and the vonhelson sister's mansion was destroyed as well.

The pale haired boy's mind went over the conversation they had had just before they left. Maybe she was right. That was the only .. explination, even if it wasn't very logical. Demo... Does that mean.. Akito-san will get a "reality check"? the boy cringed.. No one was quite sure yet if the vonhelson sisters or gambino had survived. But he figured the reality of it all was they were. Akito seemed worse than normal, what if he was going to die because he had goten too power hungry?

A soft sigh excaped him, he didn't actually want him to die, he just.. wanted to be left alone, thats all.

Colette was happilly cleaning up smaller things. And a few medium sized things, with a bit of strain. She waddled along, a torn up mess of half a chair barely lifted off the ground. Her face scrunched in concentration as she waddled along with it.
It was nice to get out. Away from everything that had been going on. It was a bit of a stress to try to help so many people at once, and it was slowly starting to wear the blonde down.

rimedragona
Alida paused at the dumpster, trying to heave the rubble she was carrying up into it, but couldn't get a good handhold. She sighed and looked over at Miss Arafel, who was carrying something huge across the beach. Now, why can't I carry something like that? She doesn't look that much stronger than me...

Arafel
The were-elf was soon to the dumpster, tossing the pile in with ease. The clothes she had allready made filthy wer emuch different than her normal ones. Normally she covered practically her whole body in fabric, this time she was barefoot with shorts and an old sleeveless shirt. Her hat was missing ofcourse, and the wings were folded against her head so as not to get in the way. Or get in Akira's reach.
And ofcourse she was sporting a fashionable baby. One should never leave home without it.
Seriously.
The tatoos and scars along her arm could be seen well, as well as a few smaller scars on her legs and back. They were hardly visible.. but still there. The price to pay for being a mixed breed.
Her tail wagged behind her, as she glanced to alida. "Ah! Goodmorning." a slight wave was given "Need any help?"

rimedragona
Back at the dumpster, Alida watched Arafel in awe. She shook herself and waved back, smiling. Then she looked down at the chunk she had drug with her.

She looked back up with a sheepish grin and nodded. She demonstrated that she couldn't get a good grip, and sighed, blowing a strand of hair out of her face with a 'whatcha gonna do?' look. She would definitely like some help getting this in there. She could bring them in, but she couldn't lift them... Maybe if there were some sort of ramp to the dumpster...

Arafel
Arafel nodded, seeming to understand the problem. "letsee.. if we lean this on the edge like that.. then" she tilted the rubble, before grabbing the bottum and flipping it in. "There. Aa.. easier said that done." her tail wagged a bit, as she glanced around for something to help others get the stuff actually inside the dumpster.
She took a few steps off, grabbing a large bit of broken wall and dragging it to the dumpster, attempting to line up the edge and make.. well a ramp or somesort. "Hm.. think that'll work?"

Akira kicked, enjoying being flippe dupseidedown everytime arafel bent to pick something up. He reached at Alida, before he was flipped right side up again. Waving bye as arafel went to fetch the rubble for a ramp.

rimedragona
Alida watched in awe as Arafel moved everything with such ease, and as the baby reached for her, she waved, and smiled cheerfully at him, reaching out her own hand towards him.

He's such a cutie... And decided she wanted one. Someday, anyway... she didn't have time now at all, not with school.. and besides, she didn't have a job, and the apartment was already kind of crowded...

She watied until the ramp was in place, and then gave Arafel a small round of applause to show her appreciation of the ramp, along with a thumbs up.

Arafel
Arafel streached a bit, letting everything shift back into place. Shame on her.. using her back instead of her knees like that. She noticed something, someone, climbing up onto a bit of rubble. One of the large peices. Oh wait, she knew him.. Freize. Yep.
And spiro? Aw. she got lost in her own little world for a moment, looking at the small shapes of the two with a smile.
Her attention was drawn back to the real world at the sound of clapping, as she spun around on her heels and gave a over-acted bow to her audiance.

Ofcourse, she had her were-wolf strength. That was part of it, the other part was her past. She had needed to do alot more work than her brother. Somehow he seemed to be the girl and she was the guy. Even in looks. Naturally he teased her for it.
"Aa, you've grown so much." Arafel grinned at the girl, giving her a pat on the head before heading down the beach, tail wagging. She really hadn't had much else to say.. so she'd just left.

Arafel
Arafel blinked, nodding and setting the TV amongst a small pile of other things she had found. Luckally she had gotten just a few feet away from it, so her setting it down where she had planned wouldn't seem rude.
"Mhmm." she nodded, turning back to him. Suddenlly stumbling as Akira decided to jerk to one side to try to knock her over or.. something. God only knew wha the were-pup was doing.

Akira started squirming mor ethan normal, a different kind. Signalling he wanted down. His legs were starting to fall asleep and he didn't like it one bit.

Arafel blinked, unclipping the pack and carefully sliding him around to her front so she could sed the carrier down and let him out to crawl around the reletivly clean part of the beach they were at. Afterall she had allready been here, and created a nice stack of crap with a small bit of ruble beside it reading "Arafel's junk, don't throw away! <3"

rimedragona
Alida dusted off her hands after depositing another chunk into the bin, and then turned to look at their progress. They'd been here most of the day, and it showed, at least in patches. The beach wasn't clean, not by any stretch of the imagination, but there was more sand visible than there had been in the morning.

She noticed Arafel letting the baby down, and watched for a moment, wondering if she could take a break and go play with him... he was such a cute one...

She sighed. She better ask Arafel if it was okay, first. So she trotted over to the woman, and tried to figure out how to get her point across.

She came up with writing in the sand, if it was flat and there was a stick.. or she could use her finger... Wonderful, Alida, that's the best you can come up with? I bet she'd figure it out if you pantomimed. She's smart.

She reached Arafel, and bit her lip, glancing over at the baby once more. She waited until she had Arafel's attention, and then tilted her head questioningly, as she pointed at herself, and then the Akira. She smiled hopefully.

Arafel
Arafel blinked, looking as the girl came up to her. She followed to where she was pointing Akira.. right? and then herself.
She gave a dumb look for a moment, wracking her brain to figure it out so she didn't look like an idiot. "Akira..and you? You want to see Akira?" maybe she was pointing at the stuff..
The woman stepped aside anyways "Sure, have fun. Careful.. I think he's teething."

Akira blinked, looking up at the woman who he had dubbed in his own mind "the lady with the bright green hair." Akira grinned and made a sharp dog-like noise in excitment. His ears and tail seemed to pop out of nowhere. The new tail wagged as he sat there, rather sure she'd come to him. If she didn't he'd go pounce her..but she was bigger than the normal people he pounced.

rimedragona
Alida smiled and made victory sign, which she flashed about momentarily. She looked over at Akira, who suddenly seemed to sprout ears and a tail, and she wished she could squeal out loud. As it is, she moved in his direction to scoop him up and give him a cuddle. He was heavier than she'd thought he'd be, but nothing she couldn't carry.

Arafel
The were-pup nearly bursted with excitment. He loved love, simple as that. Attention and everything. His tail wagged at 50 mph (not really but you get the idea) as he apparently deciding licking her face was the best thing to do at the moment.
He snuggeled down into the cuddle, seemign to calm down enough for that.

Arafel chuckled, watching the two "I'll let you watch him then.." aa.. it was too cute for words. If only she could have a picture... "oh! wait!" she grabbed a camera out of nowhere, as mothers tend to do and snapped a picture, leaving the poor baby blind from the flash. The woman grinned, and set the camera away where she had got it from heading off to pick up more things.

rimedragona
Alida giggled silently as she was suddenly sporting a wet streak on her cheek from Akira's tongue. She turned as Arafel said, "Oh, Wait!" and found herself blinking from sudden spots in front of her eyes from the flash.

Oooh. I shouldn't have looked... I'll just stand here until I can see again. I don't want to trip!

She felt the baby settling down her arms, and she rocked back and forth on her feet as her vision slowly cleared. When she could see again, she looked down at him, and wondered what he would like to do. She'd never played with a baby before.

Arafel had seemed okay with him crawling about, maybe he was old enough to understand hide and seek? Or maybe something else... they could build in the sand. Everyone was old enough (or young enough) for that, right?

She bounced him a little, checking first to see if he even wanted to be let down.

Arafel
Akira was rather content either way. Ofcourse he wasn't quite old enough for hide and seek.. just hte younger eqivilent of it. Peek-a-boo. A game in which he quite liked. Ofcourse he liked ever game.
He'd never been to the beach before.. so he'd never dug in the sand. But his tail wagged enthusiasticly as he stared at her waiting for what they would do.

rimedragona
Alida decided he might be too young for hide-and-seek, and so set him in the sand, and after poking his nose lightly, started to dig into the sand, motioning for him to help, too. She pulled some of the sand into a pile, to shape it into a crude castle. Sculpting anything was not her strong point, but she beamed happily, glancing over at him often. She couldn't get over how cute he was. I wish I could coo at him. Ah, well, I think he gets my meaning. I hope. But I still wish I could tell him how cute he is.

She was beginning to find more and more disadvantages to not being able to speak.

Arafel
He giggled, scruching his nose at the poking and going crosseyed. to try to see his own nose. After failing in his task he gave up and went back to watching her, suddenlly intriguied with what she was doing.
He seemed to think it over a moment, before rolling himself to his hands and knees and crawling over.

He shoved his nose into the sand a moment, going into a coughing fit as he snorted it up his nose. He frowned at it and started mimicing her, a bit of sand still on his face.
After a moment of cautiously digging he found it rather enjoyable.. probably the dog-like side of him. His tail wagged as she started digging at about the same speed a small puppy might. Whihc was rather impressive for his age.. but not as impressive if he was about the age of Colette.

rimedragona
Alida covered her mouth as he poked his nose into the sand, and as he sat back, she shook her head gently. Sand isn't for breathing, silly. She clapped her hands in delight when he started digging, but pulled him back before he dug too far. The water was high here, and soon they would have a small pond rather than a hole in the ground. Not that that would be bad... But I don't want you to fall in.

She demonstrated pushing the sand into piles, small ones, large ones, almost randomly placed, and after making one more, pointed at him, saying that it was his turn. She carefully made her way past the mounds, to sit right next to him and gently direct his hands into making his own mound. Then she took a bit of washed up twig, and a bit of grass, and fashioned a tiny flag to place on the top of his pile. She beamed at him.

Arafel
The were-pup rubbed at his face as some more sand seemed to go up his nose.. he only seemed to make it worse though. He frowned, concentrating before lifting his shirt up to rub his face on it vigorously. This seemed to work though.. and he seemed quite pleased with himself. He blinked, pointing back at her to copy her movement. He made a baby noise, before stopping the pointing and mimicing her previous motions, and pushing sand into little piles. Though this sin't make as much sense as the diggin had, he liked it just the same.
His little eyes sparkled curiously as he watched her put the flag atop his-Imediatly reconizing it from teh story books he had been read, a caslte! He giggled excitedly and clapped his hands together, moving to start fashioning another mound of dirt, then another.. and another...

rimedragona
Alida watched as Akira started making pile after pile after pile... she wondered if he was trying to make a city! She followed after him, making decorations for each building out of pebbles, and shells, and small bits of plants and seeweed... it really was starting to look like a little city, and she beamed. This was fun!

The twins have arrived and i've been so busy. Luckally Akira's the type that is content with entertaining himself.
He also adores Chu, who's been taking care of him while i watch the twins.

They also get along well, exchaning yips and barks even.

Alida's also been a blessing. Akira adores her, and she loves watching him.

Hopefully I'll get more time to write.

Toddler Quest: Akira!

Now finally a baby without a secrete, seems Madonna hasn't gotten to this one (*bricked*) But none the less Akira has a mission he needs to accomplish, he wants something. And he wants it baaad. Every time he passes it in the store he stares whaling, and every day he seems to be kissing up more and more just so he can get it. What is this estranged object that Akira wants? And how/will he achieve it?

Gimmiegimmiegimmie his mind whined at him as they once again passed the bright toy. It was yet another of gaia's famos Kiki kitty toys, the latest craze sweeping the nation. They had everything... Dress me kikis, dancing kikis, even a dentist kiki!
But ofcourse none of those intrested the boy. Except this one...

He stared in awe as the cart shopped, Arafel bending down to grab up some more things, daipers and whatnot for the mass of children in the house.
Small sizes, larger sizes.. training ones specifically for Akira, when a child nearby hit the "Try me!" button on the kiki's paw.

A few lights flashed, and the kiki started singing the opening song to the show. Akira giggled with glee, giving a clap and reaching for it. He made a few noises-A mix of a howl and a hum along with the song.
Then suddenlly it was getting further away, he gave a loud whine. He had to have it!
How?
Hell if he knew. His little baby-brain worked for a good hard minute, he gave another whine, slowly forming into a word. A FIRST word. "Seeehng!"

Arafel stopped, turning to the boy eyes wide. "W..What was that?"

"SENG!" he pointed to the kiki, face scrunching as he tried to get across what he wanted.

"Sing?" she blinked, hurring over to the kiki doll to fetch it. She'd noticed he'd wanted it... But not why. They had a kikidoll at home that he just ignored...
She passed it to him and immediatly the face scrunching of doom stopped.

Akira beamed, pressing the try me button and hum-Howling along with it.

Arafel leaned infront of him again, trying to grab his attention from the toy "Say it again, sweety... Whats the kiki doing?"

"Sing!" the boy grinned, finally overcoming that speaking hump he'd been fighting.
This deserved a reward. And Arafel knew exactly what.

Reserved Journal entry: Recap on Akira
PostPosted: Wed Jan 31, 2007 3:55 pm

Holiday split ups

Fingers idly rubbed a temple, a deep frown etched into her face, papers laid out on the table infront of her. Bills... Bills bills bills and more bills... She couldn't afford any of it. One could only last so long on one income, and finally the mass of kids she and Freize had taken in had overcome her ability to produce for them. With two parents working it was fine... But not like this, even some of the older kids were offering to help but she just couldn't.

Hatori chose to move out, taking Yuki with him, they kept in contact still. Ajani had stayed, and took to lazily helping about the house. As for the children their conditions only seemed to worsen as their state did. Her own kids had remained fairly calm throughout the mess, they missed Freize, and most of all missed the way their mom used to radiate cheer when he was around, but it wasn't the same hurt the ones Freize had adopted held. Evarobby and Spiro were the most torn, neither were the same... Completely and utterly heartbroken, both retreating into a world in their mind, often staring at objects in the house that reminded them of their passed father, or staring out the window waiting his return. Chael and Cougar seemed too young to understand, some of the others had grown and left, such as Umi and Tallis.

Grey eyes scanned over the numbers apon numbers, bright red letters that declayered "last notice!" As much as it killed her to break apart "the pack", there was no choice... If she kept them now it would just be for herself. With a deep inwardly torn sigh, she lifted herself from her seat, moving to the phone and only praying it hadn't gone out yet, she dialed a number, "Hello...? Yes... I beleive you adopted a child out to my..eh, husband; Freize..." She paused, swallowing hard and waiting for them to check their data. "About that..."

A new home

"Alright.. Here we are..." She eyed the apartment number, her key, doublechecking that they matched, and fussing with the complicated task of balancing boxes, an Ilori, and turning a key in a lock. It gave a click, and then the door poped open, giving a loud creak of protest.

The room that greeted them was less than pretty, the white walls had tints of brown where rust and mold had managed to climb up away from an invisible source of water. Arafel's smile wavered, stepping in and greeted with a damp musky smell. "Okay we have some leaking issues... but that's okay." She tried, moving to set the box in a corner.

The children that followed her in didn't complain, all biting their tongues in a classic "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Colette followed in first, placing her own pink bag alongside the box. Taikobo was next, with a box, and a strange ring tailed creature perched on his shoulder. He was also first to speak, "Can I call Yuki now?" he asked, giving a cute puppy dog eyes look to his mother. "Not yet... We don't have phone service. Maybe I cna find some change for you to use the payphone though..." She frowned alittle, shifting Ilori who was tightly curled against the warmth of her mom. Akira was soon in as well, eagerly moving past everyone after dropping his bag square on the middle of the floor, and checking the room out. And last were Iteru, moving in first with a wrinkled nose, and then Futoeki, with Takala at his side. THey too added their boxes to the pile, and Futoeki paused to shut the door behind him.

Arafel turned to the group, giving a weak smile, and running a shakey free hand through her hair. She'd had to sell their last house just to make enough to pay those bills and make it here... Hopefully now they could though. "We only have a few beds... So Colette, you'll be sleeping with Ilori. Taikobo and Akira, and Iteru and Futoeki. You'll have to share beds, and Colette and Ilori get their own room because they're girls." She explained, earning an aw from a few of the boys "Nownow... You guys get the bigger room, so go get your stuff set up!" She shouted the last, as though it might now be a contest, and eagerly, the boys took said implication of a contest and were rushing off with their things to the bigger room with a bed on either side.

Colette didn't run off, instead smiled and held her arms out to take Ilori. There was a toddler shift, which Ilori didn't seem to mind, instead more happy about this unpacking compitition. "Ilori help~" She chimed in to Colette, who nodded and grinned "Alright!" Gathering up her bag in one hand she headed off to the room "We get our own room, isn't that cool?"

Arafel held her smile until the children moved on into their rooms, then promptly dropped it as they all dissapered. Her head was pounding... and so, with the kids at that task, she moved over to her new bed; the couch, and plopped down, eyes falling shut. She still had to wire the phone line, buy god knew what to clean up that smell... it couldn't be healthy! And then Christmas was coming up... Her thoughts spun around like that a bit, until finally everything shut off to let her doze off for a few moments of peace.

--New Company--
Part One

Thalion
The small bell chymed as Thomas pushed his way through the glass-paned doorway into the small cafe'. It was nearly five so there weren't nearly as many people about as, say, the morning or after-school hours. A few lingering college students remained, pouring over their laptops or acne-ridden highschoolers on the guy's idea of a 'date' as the poor, unsuspecting girl thought it was just a simple request to learn more about the fascinating world of... long division with a cup of coffee to thank her for her time.

Thomas sneered at one such couple and limped his way to the counter. He stood quietly, looking over the menu, every item as always, every price, and reading every little description. He hardly knew why anymore, he came there every day- morning and afternoon, and knew the menu by heart. Perhaps it was the amusement he got out of the young barista's nervious but over-stressed grin as they both stood there for nearly eight and a half minutes waiting for Thomas' order. The small silver pigmey dragon shifted himself accross his master's shoulders, eyeing the tip jar and it's stacks of pennys. Finally, Thom ordered his usal- a large cup of hot raspberry tea and a cofee cake. Not that he ever ordered anything else... but again, the obvious annoyance in the barista's thoughts amused him. Once or twice the young boy would try to short Thom by a few cents only to have that same naked tunnel feeling in his mind as a warning. "My thanks." Thomas said dully as he dropped his change into the tip jar to make room in his free hand for the small plate and steaming cup. He'd learned how to conciel his limp, even use magic to lessen the effects his old war injury caused him but towards the end of the day he hardly saw a reason to- and he'd grown quite good at not spilling anything.

He sighed as he took a seat, setting his bag down off to the side and his cane propped up against the side of the table.

Arafel
It was by sheer coincidence that, as the woman was out and about, she would stop into the small cafe. But today wasn't quite coincidence, no, it was just the same as the other days. Trying to make the most out of a few cents... Money was tight, if that wasn't apparent in her more brittle hair and thinner than average appearance, though hidden carefully under classy and well chosen clothes that reflected a fraction of the more regal side of her bloodline. A larger jacket hung over that, large pockets chosen carefully...
She took a spot in the small line, which wouldn't have even been a line had not the man infront of her taken a precariously long time to choose. As she reached the counter, taking no further note of the man, everything went into a very delicate situation, and a very well thought out one.

Dark blobs of something unrecognizable folded closly to her head, leaning ever so slightly on the coutner "Uhm... Could I get a water? Just tap..." She asked, trying to raise a polite and cute tone to her voice, which did little to aid the man's poor nature. She barely got more than a aggitated fine, as he turned to fetch the only free thing any store would ever give, and as soon as he turned it was a rather quick bout of actions, nimbly she shoved as many packs of sugar and other "free" condimental things into those large pockets, somehow puling it off with a suprising amount of silence; meaning she'd done this before...

She stopped, just in time for his return, and with a smile and a meaningless thanks she moved to settle down in a chair furthest away from anyone paired with a member of the oposite sex, offering only a breif scowl in onesdirection. She heavily settled into a seat, sipping gingerly at the water she'd received, watching the clock for it to tell her when she should leave and set stage once more.

Thalion
Thomas looked up from his reading-which had only just begun-to watch the little scene. At first it was to simply enjoy the fact that their 'friendly' barista would be a bit sharp with anyone else for a good nine customers after him but his interest shifted with the woman's desperate scrambling for the little packets.

He sipped at his tea casually, arching a slow brow as the woman crammed just about all the sugar packets into her jacket then found her way to a seat nearby. "Mmm...", He folded the paper a bit then glanced over, his golden eyes rising up towards hers. It happened- wheather or not he wanted it to. In this case- he did. Just what was her story?

Arafel
For the most part, she had avoided many of the stares and whispers the action had acheived, it wasn't like it was actually bad... They were free, so really she could take as many as she "needed." Still, the company would have frowned greatly apon it. However, one of the gawkers happend to have the nerve to stare ever so blatently in the respect of eyecontact, something that aroused a much mroe primal responce, tail shifting in her seat on instinct as her eyes rose to meet the 'challenge'. However, she held back any further canine responce.

But further than that, for the man's other reasons that were unknown to her, the mind of this paticular woman was beyond complicated; chaotic was an understatement. Memories were jumbled, missing peices, but there at the same time, different emotions connected to different events, some quite the oposite. If eyes were the window to a soul, this paticular house had suffered a tornado's effect. Even through all that, there were several distinct facts, such as the children, the move, the missing husband, the poor living conditions of the moment, and so on and so forth.

Thalion
Thomas winced slightly, then quickly slammed his cup back down on his plate, spilling a bit on the bits of paper he had assembled there. Both hands went to his temples to rub at them sharply. Silverlorn squacked in suprize, flapping his wings and scrambling all over the man's shoulders, tangling his tail up in the long white hair for a moment. The headache and dragon were calmed quickly enough, a few smaller spells.

He frowned a bit, looking down at the mess he'd made, quite aware of the eyes on him now. He cleared his throat and stood himself up slowly, looking around the room much the way a noble might. It was enough to almost make the others in the resteraunt feel dumb for even looking. He had a strange air about him. The mess was cleaned up in the traditional fashion- a stack of napkins. Afterwards he requested more hot water for his tea then made his way over towards the strangewoman...he was curious. "Evening." He said simply, taking the vacent seat.

Arafel
It was an interesting responce, from her perspective, giving the man a slightly raised brow, before losing intrest. The clock held much more importance to her at the moment, and the water was starting to rise nausia in her stomach, which lead to her cup being delicately sat down on the table before she leaned back to try and take in a few moments of peace without it.

Peace was not coming tonight however, as the same man found it his buisness to invade her table. His prospects weren't helped by his general air, the one that had shushed the room already, it made this woman feel increasingly uncomfortable, the wings at the side of her head held tighter, tail tucked some, and her shoulders hunched when he spoke. It reminded her of something way too long ago, and yet far too familiar, her less than desirable history of orphanage and discrimination was brought unwillingly to the surface. So she offered a tiny, awkard, 'evening' in responce out of curtousy.

Thalion
Thomas glanced around slowly, shooting away any questioning eyes that had followed him to the table. A nifty trick he learned was quite effective on students during tests- the weaker minds of the cafe would suddenly feel that it was very much in their best interests to look away and keep it that way. With quiet satisfaction he turned back to the woman though this time it was quite apparent that he was making an effort to avoid her eyes- obviously not something he tried often.

"I couldn't help but notice...." he waved a hand a bit towards one of the pockets.

Arafel
After a few moments, her mind snapped back to the important task of keeping time, and wandered past him to the clock on the wall again, idly sipping the water again just for something to do in the increasingly awkward feeling of his presence. Naturally she didn't notice the lack of eye contact, if anything it was better that way for her as well. Eyecontact still meant challenge, in her world.

There was a moment of silence after he spoke, until she managed something somewhat short and snappy: "..And?"

Thalion
He couldn't help but note her tension, like an aggrivated old tabby cat cringing back from a hand or a dog snarling from the other side of a kennel. It was quite pathetic- a proud one then. He sneered inwardly but continued calmly, "Well one would assume that perhaps you'd have more appreciation for this coffee cake than I would." He pushed the small plate forward slightly. Just enough to put some emphisis on his quiet offer.

Arafel
It was possibly more like the latter than he would know at the moment, however, pride conflicted hunger. Basic needs or her pride? Ofcourse, after the weird amount of food consumption, such a thing would possibly just make her ill... Still, whenever did a stray dog as herself deny free food? Pride argued that though, and inner debate flickered across her face as she eyed the food placed before her, until finally, honesty teamed up with needs and won out over pride. Almost defeated, she took the offered plate, and mumbling an equally defeated "Thank you." in return. The kids would like it, atleast.

Thalion
"Will it be enough?" He offered, though still in that strange almost monotone voice of his. He wouldn't admit it out loud if there was an execution block under his throat- but he had a soft spot for woman. Always did though young ones was an exception...as far as he was concerned until children had grown there was no difference in gender. They all fought the same hormones, the same idiocy, the same rebelion.

Arafel
Had it been another time, the kindness would have elicited a much difference responce, a much needier one, perhaps a tad more childish, but all around more feminine. Instead, she gave a sudden huff of air, one of those chuckles that ended as quickly as it had begun. "Give a man a fish..." Was the first bitter responce that left her mouth, until that same responce drove her to shake her head, and force out some spill to give a better regards to the offer than half a saying, "The kids will like it."

Thalion
"You have children then." It sounded more like an observation than anything. He was bouncing the little tea bag around in the fresh warm water, kind of watching the tea bleed into it.

"Are you requesting that I...teach you to fish so to speak?"

Arafel
She nodded, glancing to the clock once more, then deciding now might be good to start packing it in even if she had a few moments left. A few chugs of the water were taken before she left the cup on the table for someone else to clean, not feeling the energy to drag it all the way to the trash, and gather the coffee cake in a free hand. "Children I need to go and get..." she added, but in a much more poliet mannor than any of her other comments.

"And... I know how to fish, really, I just don't have the right bait..." She mused a moment over the analogy she'd just provided, but found it satisfactory for the moment.

Thalion
"Mmmm...", Thomas glanced to his tea, a bit aggrivated it would seem. He'd heard sstories of single mothers and children who hardly got by... quite frankly it made him sick to wonder why there wasn't a father there to support them. He'd always been there for his-..........it didn't matter.

He stood himself up after her and tucked the papers under an arm, "Perhaps you won't mind a bit of company from a learned fisherman then."

Arafel
There was a reason for this one, but even if he braved the depths of this woman's head he would find a rather loose ended story without an answere. Still... Things were how they were, nothing to do about it, right?

There was another moment of puzzlement, while she'd rather relished breifly in the chance to get away from the more high statured appearance of her company, he'd oddly wanted to keep along. Strange fellow, then again he probably just embelleshed on her situation and chose to take pity... Still, such a nicer gesture was so far from commonplace. No harm, though, right? "... I guess I wouldn't. It's a long walk, though." She shifted uncomfortably, still debting wether or not she wanted to brave the task of social pleasentries.

Thalion
"Very good then." Thomas snatched his cane and limped himself along beside her. Even with his limp he hardly looked helpless or feeble- or old for that matter. The only trait about him that even hinted at his age was his white hair- even then it had been white from birth. The namun were much like humans- or elves...perhaps both in their own right. White hair was common for the nation of namun he'd been born into, as was coppery skin and bright eyes.

"Now, what sort of profession are you in persuit of then? Surely sugar snatching isn't your only talent."

Arafel
The limp was probably the only thing that caught her eye, but it was quickly assessed as handled, and therefor not requiring her attention. The white hair was a feature they shared, although hers a touch more gray, he might have been said to resemble her sibling though... That aside, she herself was far more deceitful in her age, over a hundred years now was it? Average for either of her blood line as it was...

Profression... That was tricky. Her mouth twisted breifly, "I used to run an adoption center... Not enough money in that." What else was there? Nothing, really... As she led her company down the familiar sidewalks, she scraped her brain for something else of use. "I can do alot of things... I just... don't have experience." She added, "And I'd really be best as lumberjack, or something, I'm good in the forest and pretty strong... They don't hire women, though." The word woman was almost spat out in a vile fashion, and idly her free hand gave a small self-concious brush over her short hair.

Thalion
"Lumberjack is not a profession that a lady should subject to." He said quite simply. "And while there's hardly enough money in raising children, it seems you've got your hands full with at least two." she did say 'kids'. Meaning...obviously, more than one. "So you've little choice or excuse but to apply yourself."

He nodded back towards the cafe, "Did you perhaps consider applying for a more common job?"

Arafel
Lady, lady, lady. Woman, girl, female. No matter the term used, it made her tense, granted she was a bit more comfortable than she used to, for reasons she couldn't place, but in the end it still boiled down to a hate for her gender. Or the terms that came with it. It took a good deal of constraint to keep from lifting the man up off the ground and tossing him a few feet or so to emphasize her point... But, constraint was masterd, along with a general tired sense. So instead, "I'm not like normal women." sufficed.

As for the rest, it followed a same short line "I'm not good with people... Common jobs don't usually go well for me." Not to mention anyone of elven blood, which seemed to have dwindled and trickled down into many bloodlines, roused a great deal of anger towards her. But that was complicated, and not for this man's use to know of.

Thalion
Thomas couldn't help but laugh, a strange sound coming from someone like himeslf, "If I may be so bold, this world is hardly one to speak of purity in bloodlines or anything for that matter... in all my days in all my travels this by far is the most chaotic and unorganized realm of existance to date. No official ruling company, no noble houses that I've heard of." He swept a hand over towards the street, indicating the world, "I've seen just about every race there is to speak of."

He look back down, "Surely there's little pregiduce for any race at a place such as a cafe..."

Arafel
Ah of all the awkward subjects to reach, they just kept getting deeper and deeper in to her psyche, didn't they? And for once, Thom wasn't doing such a thing literally. "That's how it is now, yes." She noted, softly, at the end of his speech. But boiling point was close, and it only took a few seconds after that to reach it, and the pot spilled over so to speak, letting her open more than she'd normally allow. It just seemed better than beating around the bush at the moment, one of those cut the crap deals.

"I'm awkward with people. I had no parents, I grew up in the forest, I only learned some basic educations when I had to put a child through school." She paused, tryign to think of what else to summarize and give away "As for my bloodline, I'm part elf, part were... Granted, that doesn't rouse as much hate as it used to, but there's also matters of a curse and so on and so forth." A breath was taken, casting the man a look for the first time in awhile, waiting to see if the conversation would reach the end of his pity and fall awkwardly silent now.

Thalion
"That is no excuse." He said simply, seemingly unphased by her outburst. He was mulling over it a bit though, bloodlines for some reason were always guarded dangerously. An elf with a werewolf was odd but not as hated as, say, a mystic and a drow, perhaps an elf and a dwarf- he shuddered to think.

"Your blood only tells what you are. It's what you do with what you are that determines part of who you are. Right now you are a mother of multiple- single perhaps. Obviously you've not eaten well yourself, I can only imagine the state of your home and children." He looked over, "If your own pride or pity in your thin blood is punishing them as well as yourself I think you are in need of a re-thinking of your priorities."

Arafel
"You misunderstand me. It has nothing to do with excuses, or my bloodline, moreso my reactions. Groups of people... Or conflicts, I have varied reactions, most of which arn't suitible for civil living. Either way I still have a job, two infact, I work in the storage department, and really before you decide the state of my house or my children, you should wait until you see them." Suprisingly, she spoke calmer than she felt. Even with the good intentions, insulting the hungry struggling single mother wasn't the best approach.

Luckally for them, and the tension arising in the air, atleast from her side, they arrived at a feild. One of those usual community centers, to which a small smile light her frowning face as she gave a sudden burst of energy to get to the fence and look out at the end of a game of soccar, automatically spotting her children... Iteru was on the bench, ofcourse, Colette and Ilori beside him, and the boys; Taikobo, Akira and Futoeki all out in the feild.

Thalion
Thomas obviously didn't run to keep up with her. He'd not loose sight of her and if he did- what a shame. Eventually he limped his way up beside the woman and watched the game. One child, he could safely assume, he knew to be hers. He didn't assume much farther than that. Perhaps the other...others? Were all out somewhere else. Who knew?

"Never did understand this game..."

Arafel
She hadn't really expected him to, moreso she expected him not to come up at all... But he seemed rather persistant, which was respectable atleast. Or maybe just irritating... "Atleast they have fun." She offered.

The game soon ended, and the mix gave a round of applause for the group, drawing the attention of the children. Naturally, her bunch responded, Iteru making some noise to the other two with him on the bench. Colette grinned, picking Ilori up and waving Iteru along after her to meet their mother at the fence, another call back was given from the white-haired boy, to which three others all responded, giving quick waves to the friends that had played along, and then they too were coming over in a rush only children could muster. They all looked rather healthy, much opposed to the woman herself, all six of them. They came around the fencing, and she met them halfway, immediatly attacked in a rush of hugs and rambles about how the day went, only the eldest, Colette, seemed to notice the man that was with her.

Thalion
Thomas quirked a brow at the number of children moreso their healthy state. Six children...and alone raising them. He looked off to the side a bit, kind of gripping at his cane. He and his wife had managed with just one child, but six?

He glanced back shortly, taking in the fact that they were, indeed, well fed while she was thin as all hell. Either way, it was no good for the children either. For once he looked a bit embarassed, maybe disappointed. It was hard to say. His emotions seemed limited.

Arafel
Arafel, for the moment, had apparently forgotten about her guest, focused on commiting their stories to her memory... Iteru and Futoeki looked the closet to herself, Taikobo and Akira were both human, not looking much like her, Colette another human, looking even less like her mother, and lastly, the furthest from Arafel (Rather than hair color) was Ilori, the small naga girl. Either Arafel was quite a.. busy woman, or that adoption center she'd mentioned earlier had played a part.

Ofcourse, her ignorance broke when Colette drew her attention, trying to shush her siblings in light of hte importance of a man after so long, "Who's that?" She asked, innocently smiling.

Arafel paused, glancing back a tad nervously, uponrealizing she'd forgotten him. "This is..." Oh dear, she hadn't even gotten his name.

Thalion
"Thomas Barkhelm." He finished her little introduction, "Professor rather, if you please." He smirked a bit. Well a title was a title. It did well enough to send the little kiddos into awe at his place of employment...though Allen rather scoffed that he fanciedthe title 'professor' rather than 'teacher'...but then again many 'teachers' never studied school for thirty years or even saw a battlefield involving magic....he felt he'd earned it.

"Good evening."

Arafel
"Professor Barkhelm." She followed up, emphasising for the sake of the younger children to get the correct wish of the name. Professor was an important thing, afterall. "I'm Arafel." She answered, looking to the eldest first to go down their introductions. Colettes was first, and by far the most lady-like, accompanied by a small curtsy. "Colette." Taikobo followed up with a bracefilled smile "Taikobo... Bo works too." Next came an unorthodox burst of energy from Futoeki, "Futoeki and Iteru Kyomutentan." He recited skillfully, dragging his much shier looking twin along side him. And finally, the two toddlers were introduced by Arafel with hand gestures to accompany the names . "Akira," She pointed to the boy "And Ilori." The naga.

The whole introduction ended with a unison "Nice to meet you." from the children, to which Arafel smiled in a softer mannor.

Ofcourse, that faultered when Colette gave her a more knowing look than any other of the children, to which she gave a prompt "No." Futoeki quickly hurried forward, straight up to the stranger, staring with large eyes. "What do you teach?" was the first of a series of questions likely to follow.
