He smirked and moved toward her, "Mia? Well, that still does not explain why you are here in my den," he replied. His eyes narrowed to simulate intimidating and suspicions.
"I am Syx, this is my den." Syx? Why couldn't he think up a better name... Either way, she was doing well, greeting him was one way of getting on his good side. However, he wondered if he would ever be able to pull off the mean, territorial lion. This was one personality he should have avoided. Oh well, she's learning to talk to males and he was learning how to pretend.

It was weird to see Ezekiel act in this way, as she was used to his sweet and gentle nature, and this was far from it. She understood however, that this was for the purpose of the exercise, and played along, counting her steps and words in her head. "I am sorry for the intrusion." An apology was always a good thing. "I simply wondered who was using this den, I beg your pardon." She bowed her head again. She had always been taught manners, and hoped they would help her out of a situation like this, was she ever caught in a real one.

Zeki stopped a few steps before her and looked down at her as she bowed. So far, if he was really Syx, he would see that she meant no harm to him and wouldn't attack her or do anything that might harm her. If he were to act like a real lion named Syx, he would have attacked her but stop short. Even pretending, he can never bring himself to hurt another without justified reason.
"You are forgiven. You know now this den belongs to me. Now that you have discovered who it belongs to, what will do now, trespasser?"

She felt intimidated by the new Ezekiel, or should she call him, Syx, but remembered it was only a game and loosened up, at the lions words of forgiveness she smiled gently and said. "Thankyou." However she soon fell out of character at his question. "Um, would I leave at this point, as he,- I mean you, seem quite terrotorial?" Looking a little apprehensive she offered another small smile.

In response, he sort of had to break character himself, tapping his chin.
"Well, I guess it would be a good idea to answer his question and then leave. Otherwise it'll seem rude. However, if he was capable of killing or harming you, I would suggest you get away," he replied.
"That was pretty good actually, you understand the gist of it. Some males like it when you compliment them to make them seem better than everyone else. Just like how I would compliment you that you are beautiful. You could compliment that I am handsome."

"But how would I answer that question? Basically tell him that I'm sorry again and tell him I shall leave?" Capable of killing her! She hoped that would never happen and that she would never encounter a lion like that. Mia feared it sometimes, after what had happened to her mother and all, but she was actually quite a trusting lioness, however she shot 'Zeki a worried glance before thanking him. "Thanks, yes." She was glad she'd done alright, after all manners didnt cost anything. Complimenting, she'd never really told anyone they were handsome, she'd said nice and implied things innocently, but she'd never knowingly and outrightly complimented someone. "What if perhaps I'm too shy, or if the male seems taken aback or scared of something?" She laughed.

He cocked a brow at the glance and smiled, nuzzling her. "Don't worry about that. These are the Pride Lands, no one will try to kill you. They have no reason to harm a beautiful female like you, Aunt Mia. Females are to be respected!"
He nodded as an agreement with the thanks. "Your welcome."
"Well, it seems that someone has to buck up and get some confidence. If you're both too timid to talk to one another, then I guess nothing happens. Just be assertive and talk to him, it wouldn't hurt right?"

She nuzzled him back, and agreed with his statement with a simple nod. She was thankful for both his help and his presence, and remembered that indeed family and the Pridelands, were two of the most comforting and safe things to be around. She looked shy at his compliment of beautiful, but smiled still. "Be confident." She summarised. Mia could do that, sure it may take a few attempts, but after that, she'd be fine! She hoped. "So, be confident, polite and be myself?"

"Be confident, take chances. If you don't then you're gonna live one very dull life," he laughed and moved away, stretching out. He gave a soft mew before going to the entrance.
"Now, it's about time I went on a quick 'Patrol' around the Pride Lands," Zeki spoke, looking back at Mia. He was sure that she was able to take care of herself and had other things to do. "I'll be back later with food and if you're still around, perhaps we can do another lesson, okay?"
With a soft smile, "Bye, Aunt Mia."
