Your blood being brownish/red is normal. It means you're either on the end of your period, or are going to start it. Sometimes it randomly happens from stress, you'll randomly spot. But the coloring is NORMAL, trust me x-x; I've had my period since I was 8 ><;

Like a lot of people have already said, brownish/red blood is pretty normal. Mine is like that at the begining and end of my periods. I have been having periods for about three years now, and mine are really regular. They always come at the very end or very beginging of the month, and last for four to five days. But then, after they stop, one or two days will go by without anything, and then they'll be some more blood. Usually just a little, but it can be more. That kind of sounds like what's happening with you. Also, at the end of my period it will burn, too. Well, more like sting. I've never thought this wasn't normal, but it always happens, and that's probably my least favorite part about my period. stare I hope I helped a little...

You folks are late bloomers razz I started my period when I was 10-11ish years old... crying
Periods are never fun...especially when you make up the next morning.
Beware of tampons, you might get toxic shock which numbs your nervous system >-<

Eh, I'll give my input into this as well. =] I also have slightly red-brownish blood sometimes before and after my period. I've had my period since I was about 10 or 11 and I realized my period is not always regular, which is okay.
You know, if you ever get scared again about your period you can always log onto WebMD or other doctor type sites and type in your symptoms that's how I learned about a lot of my inner workings of my v****a!
Good luck, and hope you feel better!

I didn't even know about sex until I was like 8 (ish homeschooled). I would never have been able to handle it when I was that young. I got mine when I was maybe 10 or 11.

I'm on birth control, and it's helped my periods be more regulated x-x; I have endomitriosis, like the rest of the women in my family, so I was kinda screwed on that >.> Doctor said there was no way I could've avoided it, because I had a 75% chance of getting it >.<;
I was 8 when I started my period. It was some time in April, and I was playing with some toys on my front porch, and I remember I had to pee -really- bad so I rushed to the bathroom and I saw the blood and I screamed bloody murder and then my dad, out of panic, called my grandma to come and help me ('cuz he said it was a woman's department), and then she called my mom after I had calmed down x-x;

Im on birth control and it kinda made my period all funky, its light or not there then one day or one week it is heavy as ********. But I stay on it because I had cysts in my ovary's and this keeps them out and I get cramps to the point of passing out, but the BC helps.

I used to get cramps so bad I'd miss alot of school because it'd hurt so bad I couldn't get out of bed. I was in tears x-x; The birth control reduces the cramps to about 50%, but I still take aspirin to get rid of them all.
My cousin had cysts on her ovaries D; Then she got pregnant ;D So they're going away 3nodding
