Sam. I'm seeing Obama as the best option out of candidates who actually stand a chance, so I will support him. I'm a college student and employed graphic designer living in Salt Lake, Utah.

'Sup? My user name's above that pixel-thing over thar; call me what you will. I'm a Southern Belle, born and bred, attending New York University and loving it. I supported Kerry/Edwards like a fiend because of my affinity for ketchup, and I support Obama because I'm a foolhardy optimist. But heck, I figure if anyone has a chance of righting all the wrongs in Washington, it's a guy who accepts no funding from PACs and who hasn't been around long enough to be terribly corrupt.

That, and he's quite a snazzy dresser. ;D

Libertarians have stupid economic ideas so I'm not voting LP or PRON HAUL and Obama scares me far less than the other people running. I'm extending him the benefit of the doubt and since I like the message he's putting out for the most part, I feel better and better about it.

Hi there everyone.

I'm Master of souls (Mos for short), and I've been an Obama supporter for a while now. I'm encouraged by his message, as well as his positions; but mostly I like the idea that the next generation is moving into Washington.

I have a lot of hope for what is to come.

It's nice to meet you all.

I'm Oni, but anyone who's been around ED-P knows me better as my mule Spider_Jerusalem. Back in 2005 I won the second ED-P presidential election with Shem as my VP. Those were good times.

I'm a dual citizen; in the eyes of the States I'm an American citizen born abroad- in this case Canada. I've always been more passionate about American politics than Canadian ones, because Canadian politics mostly just suck and are run by two provinces.

I was a Rudy supporter until I heard that Oprah was backing Obama. Kidding. I like him because his passion and commitment is pretty rare these days (you'll never ever see a Canadian like Obama in that respect), and after two stale, stiff old white guys failing to beat Bush, the Dems really need to switch things up. I didn't see his DNC speech until this year, but if I had I'm sure I would have been asking myself why he wasn't running instead of Kerry.

The other thing that really moves me about Obama is that he's pushing hard to reclaim what it means to be a patriotic American from all the pummeling that the GOP has done to it.

Born in Calgary, live in Vancouver. I'll let you figure out what my opinion of Ontario and Quebec are.

Hello, I'm Marisynos. You can call me "Maris," as I know the first one's a bit of a... I suppose "fingerful" would be more appropriate than "mouthful." I'm 23 years old and live in the wonderful state of Mississippi (no, really, there's only very mild sarcasm there. It has its good points).

Up until close to the end of 2007 I was sadly behind in my political knowledge (poor college student, hah, never bothered with TV). Fortunately I began picking up things here and there about Obama, and they were things I was ecstatic to hear someone finally saying.

Anyway, I very much appreciate the invite to the guild. Here's to Obama: first the nomination, and then the White House!

    Name's Joseph.
I'm 18 years old, so this is my first election and I'm glad I've found someone that generate such interest in politics. I've recently been on the fence in decided. I originally wanted Bill Richardson to win for the shallow reason that he was Mexican like I. Upon his dropout, I decided to do research and just fell in love with Obama's speeches and all he has to stand for...

I was lucky enough to make eye contact with him during a rally in San Antonio two days ago. I also touched his hand. The experience was awesome. whee

I'll be proudly supporting Obama and hopefully he comes out on top. 3nodding

Talon-chan

...I am liberal because I believe all people, not just the christian white majority, deserve equal rights and that corporations, left to their own doings, will not prevent ecological, economical, or personal damages.

I am about as socially liberal as they come, and while I support the government wasting less money I'm not exactly a libertarian because I see a very strong need for government intervention in big business to protect the environment and local communities.

I think you and i could be very good friends lol
