"It can be... But, as seems to be the case with most wonderful things, it cannot last forever... The storms come every season." He wouldn't know that first hand, of course, only being a season or two old himself, but there had been storms in the late fall just as there had been in the winter. He could only assume that the way of the world made things continue on like that.

"Well no, one can't have foals around forever but i've never been around them." She tilted her head to look at him. "I've only ever been around my family and aside from my parents we're all the same age"

"Can't honestly say I've ever been around them beyond being one either." He chuckled, giving his head a slow shake. "I am just speaking from the experience of memory... Memories can be powerful things."

"Hopefully powerful things that you like rather than those that hold you back from something." She nodded as she stopped by a patch of clover to lean down and take a bite.
Memories could be good and bad but she would hope, had he any bad ones, that he did not let those control him.

"I would say that most are more the good than the bad." He chuckled softly. There had been view things that had happened as he grew up that he would have considered bad... But looking back on them now they weren't nearly as much so as he had thought them to be then. "Especially the recent ones."

She smiled brightly at him. "The recent ones have been wonderful. I've met so many new people and made new friends." She wouldn't take any of it back even if someone told her there could be something better.

He rustled his wings as a gentle breeze brushed past them, tilting his head to follow the direction of it. "Unless the wind changes whatever weather it brings with it will be headed that way... Would you like to follow the wind and see where it blows us or did you have somewhere particular that you wanted to go?" He had followed the wind before and he had found many interesting things in doing so... He just wasn't sure if that was a chance she wanted to take just yet.

"So long as the wind takes us somewhere that we can see the mountain's i don't see why that would be a problem." She smiled and shook her head to get the strands of hair that the wind had blown into her face back out.

"It seems to me that the wind is headed right for the mountains... Seems perfect, doesn't it?" His brow lofted slightly as he looked to her for a moment, leaning in to tug at a strand of her mane before turning in the direction of the breeze.

"Almost too perfect." She shook her head slightly as she trotted along beside him. She'd never really bothered to think of the wind guiding her any which way since she was more of a land creature but it was a nice idea. Acheron must have loved going where the wind led.

"Nothing is every 'too perfect' unless it is a trap... And as I have never heard of the wind setting traps?" He smirked teasingly, giving his head a light toss before picking his pace up into a trot. He was feeling more playful now than he had since he was significantly smaller; as if nothing short of a good romp across the plains would wear him out.

"I have heard stories of traps laid by the wind but i have never seen one." She trotted easily along beside him as she spoke. "I would hope that the spirits would not play tricks on me like that though. It wouldn't be very fun"

"One cannot see the wind; only things carried on it... I suppose that one would have to see someone caught in a trap of the winds in order to see the trap?" His brow lofted slightly as he glanced at her for a moment before picking up his pace once more. "... Care to race with the wind, Kalosyni?"

"I'm afraid i am not fast enough to even match the wind." She laughed as she tossed her head slightly. "A race perhaps though only if you promise to go easy on me"

"One needn't be able to match something in order to race against it." He chuckled as he lengthened his stride, hooves coming down harder against the ground. "I promise I will not stray far from your side... My legs will only agree to carry me so far anyways."
