blessed. As the birthdays roll around I feel so very blessed to have enjoyed them for another year! It took three round cakes and one square one. I took a picture out of a Dumbo coloring book and basically imitated it - making it look a little more realistic. I used peanuts for the toes, string licorice for the tail, marshmallows for the tusks (artistically cut and arranged), and several colors of frosting. I only had one child then - so the cakes got progressively simpler as more children came! 4laugh

Extended. The extended family can be a blessing and a curse sometimes, but for the most part, what would we do without them?

underwear
pull ups didn't work for me. they went in them just like regular diapers. they needed to feel the mess, i guess.

big girls/boys - Why do we make them feel it is a grown-up thing to do and push them towards wanting to be grown-ups, when we know we will feel bad when they are?

Babies- Good question about why we want them to grow up. I guess its one of those bittersweet things. seeing them grow up is nice but at the same time you miss when they are dependent on you.
