Freedom Fire They probably want the thread recycled so they can start their own abortion "debate" thread, replacing the comprehensive information about abortion and related topics with Bible quotes and pictures of "aborted fetuses" And don't forget, the rules don't apply to you when you're saving people. Whether it's trolling for life or stealing a Pagan girl's boyfriend, if it's in the name of God it's always justified. Haven't you been in the ED today? They already had an anti-abortion thread up with pictures of mutilated stillborns. I reported that one so she took the pics down and linked to a "Partial birth abortion" diagram that was more kid friendly.

I mean half of gaia is under 18 and kids are pretty impressionable, which is exactly why they show s**t like that. They hope the kids will pick up their torch without asking questions. Luckily some kids are smart enough to ask questions and do research. I just hope those pictures didn't scar anyone.

They likely hate it because it provides facts, and all of the facts all agree with pro-choice and why abortion should be allowed. Since the facts disagree with them and refute them, the facts shouldn't exist. Obviously, because the facts fail, it's time to pull up old, outdated studies that have since been supplanted and refuted by recent ones - INCLUDING an AGI study on depression and abortion from 1985 that the AGI has long since removed and thrown out in favor of new, contradicting evidence - or just make stuff up outright. They lack the self-esteem to admit defeat. They want to prove they are right to themselves and seem to lack the ability to accept for themselves that they are wrong. What do they think, we'll hold a giant party and throw darts at blown-up pictures of them? We're pro-choice for a reason, it would be total hypocrisy to not politely accept their concession, and possibly ask if they have new arguments to toss out there or if they want to join the club and maybe help the cause a little.

Well, if they post pictures of "aborted" fetii, then you can report them, because those images are against the PG13 rule, due to the fact that they are very bloody, and are quite fake.

As Ottery beat me to saying, You CAN (and should) REPORT gory pictures because they're against the rules.
It's sad that they've stooped so low, but it honestly does not suprise me. They've been trying to get rid of the ADT because they're outnumbered when it comes to logical thinkers. I've seen them complain a lot that they can't debate there because we rule it and because they feel ganged up on and I understand that, but really, that's no excuse. If they want to debate, they can do it with facts and logic. Of course they'll be "ganged up on" because they're outnumbered, but that's their own fault. Maybe it IS good that they're thinking of starting a raid, because for once they'd have lifers in there actually trying to debate. I almost feel bad for them, though, because they are the underdog. Less popular, less numerous, and with much less objective support for their side. Then again.... if you can't win logically, just concede. You may think abortion is wrong and gross and immoral, and you have every right to, but those reasons are not enough to make it illegal.

Thing is, they need to realize that even if they do get the thread recycled, a new one will be created. I think someone should save all the information in the current thread so we can quickly create a new one before they do.
If they beat us to it, I'm sure we can find a reason to report their thread.
But whatever happens, if the current thread is recycled and a new one is created, they'll still lose. They're getting owned in the official abortion debate, they get owned in any debate thread related to abortion, or where the topic of abortion comes up. They're getting owned in the Extended Discussion forum and they usually get owned when abortion comes up in the General Discussion because there's usually at least one intelligent pro-choice member in there to school the "ABORTION IS MURDER, SAVE THE BABIES!" people.
Face it, pro-lifers, you're losing. YOU ARE LOSING! No matter how much you insult us, no matter how often you repeat your same illogical arguments, no matter how many times you drag religion into the debate, you will lose.
