"But berries are so tiny and horses are so big!" She said squishing her face at the mention of berries and widening her eyes at the word horses to emphasize her point. "Could they get full off of such teency tiny little snacks?"
"Then you shouldn't be out here." He said nudging her gently in the direction of there home. "You should have waited at home and saved your energy." He took a few steps away from Aeris and nudged his familiar with his hoof. He nodded his head at her then to his back to signal her to climb on if she wanted a ride then looked back at Aeris. "Let's go. You need to rest. I'd hate for anything to go wrong..."
Amal felt the push on her back and looked up to see Xantir giving his signal. "Welp Reno, I'm going up!" She said before springing up with a flick of her tail settling on her friends back without a problem.

Reno smiled. "It's just for the taste i think" he said before starting walking toward the teepee when he saw them moving
Aeris stood on her foot and started walking. "I wanted to announce you under this beautiful sky" she said with a wink. "But you're right, let's go home now, i need to eat a little too." she thought about the sugar cube Chandrika gave to her.

Xantir smiled at his mate. She was a strange one, willing to sacrifice what little energy she had just to make an announcement under the blue sky. He didn't bother to mention that there was plenty of sky right over their teepee. It didn't matter. "What would you like to eat?" He asked looking around wondering if there was some special treat she wanted. Lunathiel had only eaten apples while she was pregnant he wondered if Aeris would be the same. "If there's something special I can go find it for you."
Amal peered up between Xantir's ears hearing him ask about food. "You shouldn't say that Xanny. She could want some rare flower that only grows in spring in the desert or something." She whispered into his ears not all that quietly at all.

Reno who walked on Aeris side was really amused. Aeris was a simple mare. He didn't really knew what she wanted but he was sure it was something not really important.
Aeris was lost in her mind, wondering where the sugar was when the voices bring her to reality. "Hum... no actually i just want to eat sugar." she smiled. "Chandrika bring some when she saw i was pregnant". She remembered there was some other things too. "Oh there is apple too, blanket, cushion.. everything needed."
Her way to walk was funny because of the belly she walked slowly but she was so happy it was almost like she danced.

"Sugar?" He paused for a moment mid-step before laughing softly. So that was it? While he hadn't expected something as extravagant as what Amal was saying he had been expecting Aeris to want something a bit more special then sugar and apples. It was like her though. Simple desires that contrasted with his other friends wants for everything and anything.
As the walked he kept one eye on her and the other on the surrounding area. He wouldn't have any surprises. He didn't like surprises. Well...his eyes fell on Aeris' belly and while he couldn't clearly see that it was bigger he knew what was there. Some surprises were good.
The open sky was slowly vanishing as he continued to their home. He knew they were getting closer as the trees were getting closer together. Once they thinned out again he knew their home would be in sight.

Aeris turned her head towards Xantir "Yeh yummy sugar cube, Chandrika gave me a lot"
They can finally saw the teepee, their home, which one will soon be full of babies. She smiled, babies, it was really awesome, she hoped they will look like Xantir a lot.
She entered in their home and waited for Xantir. "Welcome home" she said with a winked.

Xantir smiled and followed his mate into their home. It was such a great feeling to have a real home and then to know that it was soon to be filled with little ones. Then they would be a real family. It filled his heart with pride that, for once, his worries couldn't get rid of.
"It's good to be back, Aeris."
"Xanny stop being so corny!" Amal said swatting at her equine friend's ear. "You were only gone a little while!" She laughed a little before hopping down off her friends back. She padded lightly over to a small blanket on the floor before curling up half on it and half under it. Xantir was right, it was good to be back. This was her home too and while it was still far from perfect it was good enough. Especially now that she would have foals to teach to hunt like proper lions.

Aeris looked at Amal, it was so good to see her happy and with them. It was hard when they first met.
She ates some sugars like she wanted. And then laid down on a blanket. There was actually a lot of them in the teepee because her two-legged brought some when she knew the mare was pregnant.
"They move a lot, i think i will sleep a few."
