Bell wasn't fast enough to avoid the attack. She was knocked aside. Bell was dizzy for a moment, then recovered herself. She retreated, not wanting to get too close to the other bird.
"Try again!" Renekai said encouragingly. Bell was a bit too weak to be fighting experts like Prince... All of Luna's Pokémon were so strong... But Renekai would show 'em! She'd show 'em all! "GO!" Renekai shouted in a louder, firmer voice.
Bell, heartened by her trainer's confidence, promptly shot another Ice Beam at Prince.

"Prince, you know what to do!" Choppi clapped her hands together and smiled at Prince. They were working well as a team. It was her turn to let him make a move.
Prince soared and caught a gust with his large wings and sailed past the beam of ice that shimmered past him. Then getting in close, the chirped almost tauntingly at Bell. "Kuroooo, KUROOOO!" Then the Gust attack trailed his speedy decent.
Maybe she was getting a bit too confident too soon in the battle, because Bell could definately still do some damage if they weren't careful.

"This tactic isn't working..." Renekai muttered to herself as she watched Bell fall to the ground once again. "Prince is too strong. He has a huge advantage. Okay, Bell! Let's fight to the end! Aerial Ace!"
Bell felt herself growing faint. Finally, they were doing it her way. There was hardly a chance for her to win, but it was worth fighting for. Might as well hurt Prince as much as possible before losing... Bell hurled herself into the air and shot towards the ceiling of the stadium. She aimed carefully at Prince who was now below her and dived, talons extended to rip at her opponent's wings and back.

(Waii~! I forgot, sorries! sweatdrop I'll try my best not to again, I was rushing out the door for work, and right now I'm on break.)
The talons raked his back and tore off one of the Pidgeot's signature ling head feathers along with a shower varying from medium sized feathers to down towards the skin. Even splatters of blood hit the stadium floor and even sizzled into black smelly smoke. Choppi gasped and clasped her hands to cover her mouth.
Prince teetered in pain, that went though his wings when he beat them. Good aim. He eyed Bell with a hardened stare for inflicting that pain upon him. He called out nothing brazenly like all times before, just swooped in low in a hunting like manner of the Pidgeot.
"Prince, try Sandattack again!" She called, hoping it wouldn't be too much of a strain on him, however Prince had another idea.
Taking to the winds and using them to his advantage he pumped through the pain, hoping to get back at Bell for this feeling. Ignoring Choppi's 'suggestion' he opted for using the move called "Fly." Going as high as he could he hovered there in the light of the sun, before taking into a deep dive.

Bell instinctively released the other bird and pumped her wings furiously to gain altitude. That was close. But Bell couldn't wait for Renekai's command! This was the opportune moment! She was above, he was below. He was still in mid-dive. He was exposed! Bell tucked her wings flat against her body and plummeted after Prince, her bag carefully balanced on her back. As Prince was in a controlled dive and Bell was rocketing down, she managed to catch up with him. At the last moment, Bell swung her right leg forward at the back of Prince's head. The Mega Kick would really hurt, if only it would make contact...!
Renekai gasped and gripped the handrail that prevented her from entering the battlefield. Bell's attack was extremely reckless. One false move and she would lose balance, perhaps breaking her neck on the ground if she shot past the Pidgeot. Renekai gritted her teeth and forced herself to keep watching Bell.

Prince saw the attack, Choppi saw it, but neither could do anything to move him out of harms way. His back was too damaged to take such a sudden strain that the evasion would have called for.
The kick connected and sent him spinning end over end across the air. Vision blurred, and more feathers flew. A faded squeak escaped his beak. He headed towards the shocking floor.
"Prince...Prince no...PRINCE!" She called slamming her hands down on the edge of the trainer platform. She found herself shaking while she stared in horror at Prince, spinning out of control.
Prince was lucky enough despite the world of hurt to pull out of it an at least not hit, just skim the hard, electrified floor of the arena. Again he was silent, but this time waiting for a command.
"P-Prince...Quick Attack!" She wrung her hands together, hoping that he would get hurt much more. He may be able to endure alot, but the attacks Bell had made were well chosen.

Bell, for a moment, thought that she had won. Prince wasn't one to lie still on the floor! Then he suddenly sped back up at her with a Quick Attack. Bell was knocked sideways by the blow, and she had to shake her head to clear it.
"This won't work..." Renekai bit her lip. "Ice Beam!"
Bell took advantage of their closeness and shot yet another beam at Prince. This one had to freeze him! Bell felt herself getting weaker.

"Prince NO!" Useless, because the Pidgeot encased in ice fell to the floor, unmoving. The crystalized water at subtemperatures was many MANY times thicker than the last. Choppi bit her lip but didn't take a step back. She'd wait it out with him.

"And that's how it's done," Renekai smirked to herself. But this wasn't over. In fact, Bell was still so far behind... She was getting weaker and fainter... If they got really lucky, Bell and Renekai might pull through. "Don't sit around! Go for it!" Renekai let Bell have the satisfaction of choosing her own attacks.
As Bell was above and Prince below, Bell decided that it would be logical to use Aerial Ace. Down down down she went! Her speed made her appear to be a pink blur as she dived, ready to rake any part of Prince that she could reach with her talons. Even if she didn't win, Prince would remember this battle.

Choppi accidentally bit her lip as Bell crashed into the iced Prince, sending him skittering across the floor with zaps following the trail. Battered into the side of the iced cage around him, he could move but very little. He would take on damage and could do nothing.
I have to help....she thought. But...but what can I do?!
"Ah!!" Choppi exclaimed at the sudden words she remembered. Luna, if you willed enough, you could help them become free from the status effect! Fist punched into her other hand she nodded. Prince, she didn't want him just to get hurt. She'd try her best to help him by putting her heart into hoping he'd stay safe. Would it really help? She could only hope.
"Be strong Prince!!"

((What the heck? No, you can't do that... Who told you you could? FFN? Where did she get that idea? Maybe in the new battle system, but it hasn't been released yet.))
Renekai laughed. "Your pick, Bell." she informed her Delibird. "He's a sitting duck."
Bell nodded and brought her right leg back again. It glowed faintly, then with more intensity. Finally she swung it forward with all her might. Bell braced herself for the contact that was sure to be made.
