"Well you're cute, and fine digimon and all but I think I'd rather use my own light and see for myself instead of just trusting you...I mean, no offense. Hehe," Joey said with a chuckle.
Leo just rolled his eyes and perched himself on Joey's leather jacket shoulder.
"Lead the way Poe..." Joey said in almost a whisper, getting a cold chill on the back of his neck all of a sudden as he raised his digivice for some semblance of light in the dark forest.

As Joey's light flooded the area, several pairs of bright red eyes started to pop up all around them. Low growls started to cut the silence. Derrik stepped closer to Joey feeling that they were indeed surrounded by several unhappy digimon. This was the forest of Darkness, they preferred the dark. Maybe he should have listened to Poe after all.
Poe backed up in fear, bumping into Joey. "Fine thing that light did, there good sir." He said through a frantic gasps of air.
Derrik reached around thinking that that poe was closer than he was, but with his eyes on the evil glares towards him, he mistaked Joey's back side for the bird, and took a firm grip.

"Yeah well you didn't exactly point out that we were supposed to be sneaking and there were other things here Poe!" Leo said in a rash outburst as he flew above the two humans.
Feeling Derrik's hand on his behind, Joey put his left hand behind his back and grabbed Derrik's into his with a firm grasp. Whispering and cocking his head to the side to talk to Derrik still standing behind him, almost like a shield, he spoke with a quiet urgency, "If you wanted to play a game of grabass all you had to do was ask...but not now, we've got business to take care of. You up to just blowing these suckers out of our way or make a run for it?"
He made a quick glance to look up into Leo's eyes and with a nod the little Patamon inhaled and fired three quick Boom Bubble attacks in different directions to make the angry darkness digimon scatter. In the midst of his attacks, Leo yelled to his almost statue-still tamer, "I think we might need backup, Joey!"

Even though no one would be able to see it, Derrik blushed, as he remember the mess he made last time he played around with another boy. That just caused problems and rifts with everyone, so the last thing he wanted was to play this game... especially when their asses were on the line.
"Uh... I..."
"Spiral Twister!" A green spiral of fire light up the area in a green hue. Derrik was able to notice what had surrounded them. They weren't that strong, but there a lot of them.
The tree branches were covered in Kunemon and the equal counterpart to the warm, Dokunemon. Since the Dokunemon were green, you could barely see them. There had one attack they loved to perform, Elctro thread. They would entangle there prey and then paralyze with an electric jolt.
Derrik felt a shock next to him, and looked over to his shoulder, and saw a sparking thread next to him. He looked back up to where it came from. The grinning work was running to the other side.
Many of the branches and leaves were on fire. The green flames shot from poe, starting to change to a normal flame color as they cooled. It was both a good and bad thing. The green worms could be seen better, but the yellow ones got a little bit harder, but the forest was on fire, and they were trapped with in it.
"Poe you idiot!" Derrik yelled!
A giggle echoed through the tree branches and two blinking lights could be seen way up top. It was the transporters, but they soon bounced off, as the theft ran deeper into the forest.
