The encouragement was enough to lift the little dove girl's spirits even as her wings became used to the occasional flapping. Was she ready? She had to ask herself, a little hesitant and still a teeny bit afraid. If you don't try now, you'll never know. Yourie had once said. Swallowing back a lump in her throat, she released her hold on his hand, white wings fluttering for a moment to keep her steady in the air.

Ligeia adjusted his flapping so that he could stay near to where Alora was in the air, watching her closely as she worked on keeping herself aloft. He then reached his hands out, though didn't do anything but hold them out in case she needed them, "Your doing really well, keep it up!" He said, continuing to support and encourage even when he was no long holding her hands.

"Thanks." Alora smiled at Ligeia, concentrating on flapping her wings and keeping herself aloft. She was still a little afraid that she would fall; she knew Ligeia would be there, but the dove was scared she couldn't fly properly. Which sounded stupid, but she still was afraid.

"Now you just need to remember when flying outside there will be air currents." Orpheus called up to her, "It will make flying easier from what I have seen and read."

The owl gave a little chuckle, this was why his father asked him to help because Orpheus couldn't fly himself he could only guess and use what he'd read in books to help in his classes. He looked over to Alora, "It makes it much easier, you just have to ride the wind. When its warmer we can go out flying and try it out if you like."

"Air currents." Alora repeated. Riding the wind? Her heart skipped a beat as she thought about it. It would be fun...but rather scary as well. What if the wind blew her and she had to fly against it? What if, what if...

She was getting to paranoid. Shutting her eyes to calm her nerves for an instant, she opened them to look at Ligeia and nodded.

"Alright, I look forward to it." He said, then slowed down his flapping which had the effect of him slowly lowering towards the ground. He landed then stretched his wings out. That had been a bit tiring on his right wing, it was healed but it had been bound for long enough that flying was still a bit exhausting.

"Alright Alora, try to land like Ligeia just did and we can call your class good. Your meeting with Ligeia when its warmer will round out your lesson and from there its just practice, practice, practice."

Alora was actually grateful that Ligeia was here helping her along the way as she learned how to fly. He was after all, the first D-Corp that she had met and took her flying. So she didn't exactly feel so nervous around him as she did with strangers.

She watched the owl boy land and followed the way he did, wobbling a little as her feet touched the floor. "Thank you Mr Solon. And Ligeia." She added, finishing off with a polite bow.

"You are very much welcome. It was fun flying with you again Alora." Ligeia said, giving her a smile.

Orpheus scribbled down some more notes on his notepad quickly before looking over at her, "Alright, you are all done and you have successfully passed your flying class. Good job, you did really well for a first time flyer."

Ligeia did his best not to laugh, normally something happened during the class that would make his father think all the flying classes were cursed. Having a good one now and then would help his father's confidence in his abilities to teach this class.

Orpheus walked over to Alora and held out his hand, "Here you go, a prize for doing so well in your class." He said.

The dove girl gave him a sweet smile, which widened as the teacher said she had passed! Passed! Trying not to squeal with delight, Alora simply nodded, looking positively radiant with happiness. She wanted to tell Yourie and Mereneth!

Well, if something bad happened during the flying class, Alora would have been very upset indeed. So it was lucky for both of them that all had went smoothly.

"A prize?" She echoed, looking curiously up at the bespectacled teacher.

Orpheus nodded, "Of course. I give them out to anyone who comes to class and is able to complete their lesson." He told her. He had found out that a prize was a good way to show the students they had done well and seemed to bring some of them back for a second lesson later on. Even if they returned only for the prize they learned as well which made him happy since he enjoyed teaching.

"Thank you, Mr Solon." The dove gently stretched out her hand and picked up the small trinket, a soft smile on her face. Then, glancing down at her watch, her eyes widened and she backed away, giving a small bow. "I have to go now Mr Solon. Bye!" She waved to him and Ligeia and turned to walk out of the classroom, wings fluttering happily.

Orpheus waved as she left before turning to Ligeia, "Your free to go now too." He said to his son.

Ligeia gave him a smile and nod, "Alright, I think I am gonna go take a nap I am a little exhausted." He hugged his father before going over to where Vorel was. A quick conversation with the dragon later and the pair were leaving as well.

Orpheus gave a little smile before he went to finish up his notes on the clipboard.
