my friend bumped me and we dropped both of our horns so she took them and hugged them both. I then hugged mine and the teacher looked at us like we were crazy. my friend smiled and she was all like "o no she saw us GAAA!"

RivenPanic All the time. My friend and I pretend we are in love with our trombones. Makes people look at us weird. But its worth it *laughs* Freshman year I had people tease me about being in love with my mellophone. No clue where they got that idea...*pets mellophone* I hug my French horn all the time. They are very huggable, if you were wondering.

I Dun Play No Brass, And hates Brass Plaers guts.. But thats Another storie.
But I Hug My Bass Clairnet and chuck my Clairnet Down stairs on occasions.

GaaraKazekage_sandninja11 yeah, i hug my baritone all the time but not only that i see ppl hugging their instruments, in my school, i see the the tuba players making out with their tubas. its so hilarious!!!
I mean...*cough*
But yes, I have hugged my tuba. =D

I hug mine,sometimes i put my ear to it and bang softly on the brass.My Tuba is to big to put my arms around tho.

Of course I have hugged my instrument. I once dropped in in band. I picked it up and huggled it. Yes huggled it. Everyone in my section thought I was weird. But who care's. They think I'm weird anyway. xd

I hug my French horn all the time & my marching horn. I also named my marching horn. :]

Well, I don't have a brass instrument. I play tenor sax, but I've never actually hugged it.
Oh! But I have danced with my saxophone. Usually when I'm at home practicing a piece of music and I have like, a 6 measure rest, I dance. Saxophones make pretty good dancing partners, I must say. xp mrgreen

I hug my trumpet, and when my partner isn't around for ages and I have a blow on his bass trom, I hug that too. And I pet my trumpet razz
Altho I've yet to take to kissing my instrument when someone insults or threatens it, like an old band mate of mine.

im not a brass player but i hug my bass clarinet all the time to keep it warm
umm for any1 that plays clarinet do you ever call the clarinet a baby and the bass clarinet the mom?
( i can thing of who should be that father lol) heart

Heh-heh...I love hugging my baritone. Especially right after using valve oil (mine is lemon-scented for some strange reason).
