I think I've found a good title, too (I know that everyone says to save the title for last, but...).
"Booty."
What better way to title a pirate story? blaugh Plus, it's gonna be a funny story.

I'd love to tell you more about the plot, if you're interested - I wanna write about college students (led by an alcoholic, best friends with the narrator) who one day wanna be pirates.

And I love telling them. ^^ Oh, and I haven't a clue for names yet, so I just filled them in.
The story's narrator is a college student named Marcus, best friend of the wild and social, yet honorable Jackson. These two could not be more opposite - Marcus has always been an intelectual, reserved type, while the students (and faculty) recognize Jackson as the man who "has had one too many, one too many times." xd However, Marcus and Jackson have been great friends for years, and what makes them different makes them strong. wink
Marcus and Jackson live on one of the larger islands of a group of small, yet condensed islands known as Grapevine Isle. Their islands are somewhat diverse in structure, but most are civilized and prosperous.
One day, Jackson takes Marcus to a bar and sits down with him, eagerly wanting to tell him his ingenious plan. That day, during the history seminar, Jackson overheard the lecturer mention pirates, and became completely fascinated. He heard of plundering, drinking, and travelling the world with a crew of 'mates.
He tells Marcus that the two of them should be pirates. pirate
Jackson reveals that a shipwreck had been spotted weeks ago on the shores of a southeastern island only miles away. Although relatively little damage was recorded, the ship's crew abandoned it anyway. According to Jackson, it could be rebuilt.
Jackson also points out the schedule for luxury cruiseliner S.S. Vivian, scheduled to pass by 10 miles from the northern islands in 2 months. According to Jackson, the treasures and valuables on that ship can be taken.
Finally, Jackson reveals a list of people of whom he has close ties with, as diverse as Fraternities, bookworms, and those dudes he met in the bar the other day. According to Jackson, they could serve as the ship's crew.
A ship can be built. Treasure can be obtained. A crew can be formed. Marcus, reluctantly, accepts.
As the meticulous Marcus and the wild Jackson form partnerships with fellow drinking buddies and classmates, including Marcus' secret love interest, Vanessa, the plan seems sure to work.
However, as rumor spreads of a team of pirates and their fail-proof plan for loot, word catches on in the neighboring islands. More and more islanders, young and old, become entrigued by the life of piracy and this bountiful treasure. Before Marcus and Jackson realize it, pirate legions from the different corners of Grapevine Isle have formed. They want that treasure, too. twisted
With their unexperienced crew of alcoholics and college misfits, Marcus "The Crow" and Captain Jackson have less than two months to fight off the rival pirate crews and take over the S.S. Vivian.
It'll have sword fights! It'll have mutiny! It'll have plundering! And it'll have RUM!!! pirate

You've never taken gymnastics have you? It's what they use to do vaults up. Think of it sort of like a ramp, but with springs attached to the bottom when you jump it gives you an extra boost.

You've never heard the saying? Really? It just means it's a good place to start. Just like a springboard is for gymnasts. 3nodding Giving you an added boost for your story to flow from. That sort of thing. You hear it a lot in the corporate world.
