Also, in your example rolling - doesn't Valeo need to roll a five to win, instead of a three? I think I'm understanding this so far.... Kindle wasn't sneaky enough, and got swatted with a rolled up newspaper. D: And yes, you can try another mission with Kindle if you want. =3 As for the example, Valeo would need to roll a five because he has no stats already, but he rolled a two.
