"My computer and all my stuff is at home. Plus my millipede, and I don't wanna leave her at home by herself too long." Maelon replied with another shrug, having decided that being in the house with Pryderi was less of a danger than being outside. Outside he could meet up with Akilah. Inside, he didn't have to see her. At all.
The dark chocolate Sin'aeis couldn't help but laugh when the snowball nailed the kid, throwing his own in that direction as well. "Not bad! You like throwing snow at kids?" It was his own personal hobby, so he thought he should ask if it was Mignon's as well.

"Millipede, huh?" Mig said, scooping up more snow. "Aren't those like big centipedes? And, not particularly. Just grew up with a bunch of kids I didn't like, and snow was one of the few things I could hurl without Jeane screaming at me to not be such a b***h."
She hurled another one, laughing. "It is fun, though."

"Mhmm. Mine's going to get really big. Giant African millipede." Personally, he was quite proud of his millipede. She liked being handled, her bites didn't hurt, and it felt awesome to have her wandering all over his arms. Her legs felt so nifty. "I'd bring her with me, but it’s too cold for her."
"Hurling things is fun though, especially when it keeps the kids away." Maelon grinned and threw another snowball. Aaah, now this was fun! "Pryderi would have told me not to do this, if he ever went with me to meet people."

"Neat. I bet all those legs feel interesting when they walk on you." Mig said, bending down to grab mroe snow. A snowball came flying over where her head would have been.
". . . Little bastards!" She snorted, hurling another.

"Oh they do," Maelon responded eagerly, always enjoying it when the topic turned to his creepy crawlies. He was particularly fond of his newest bug, this large African millipede. The redhead hadn't felt this proud about something since he got his first Tarantula.
The dark chocolate Sin'aeis made a startled noise when a snowball bounced off the rim of his hat, purple eyes narrowing. This was war! He packed up another snowball and threw it at the offending child. Take that!

"Huh." Mig said, pelting on kid right in the side of the head. "Any chance of me seeing her? Sounds interesting."

"Um… sure," Maelon responded slowly, trying to think of a way to let Mignon see his millipede. "How about when the weather is better I'll bring her with me?" Leave it to the redhead not to invite Mignon over to his house. He had never brought a girl over to his house, and the idea wasn't very appealing. Maelon liked Mignon and all, but he hadn't exactly spent that much time with her. It would be awkward having her over at his house.
"Speaking of which, I have to go back and make sure she didn't escape from her tank." With one last snowball throw, Maelon gave his friend a wave. "See you around sometime!"

"Aah!" Mig cried, ducking from another snowball. "I'll hold you to that, Mae!" She called, throwing a snowball underhand in his general direction before going back to pegging kids. "Bye!"
