nachowarsatnight Cello is my life, I don't even let people touch him [steve the cello]. I've been playing for half a year but I don't suck, in april i'm playing St. Paul's Suite along with people in Rainier Symphony, people from our orchestra is going to join them once a year. Ohmygosh I'm playing St. Paul's Suite on the 26th!! Do you have a favourite movement? Mine would be the Jig. I love the opening. Though the finale is good too. Oh yeah, I I play the cello also, been playing for 9 years! ^.^ It's basically the only thing that has ever been truly stable in my life and I love it.

i play violin, but i can also play cello cuz my old teacher would let us switch instruments. it was fun! biggrin

I even made sure I put a "danger: do not enter!" sticker on my case. rofl (along with loads of video game stickers) That's not bad for half a year of playing, isn't St. Paul's suite some hard song? sweatdrop

The St. Paul's Suite is the best! Are you playing all of them? My favorite is the first one personally. I play the viola and violin and my sister plays the cello. We practice together.

I play, and I've been playing for about a year, but I've played bass for 6, so I'm actually very good at it. I don't think I've ever played St. Paul's Suite, but I have played Bach's Cello Suite no. 6 and love it. Courante is my fav movement. ^_^ Such fun. Much easier on cello than bass, that's for sure!

meeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
only been playing for about 2 1/2 years...i would be pretty good by now, if i practice...right now im just ok razz
our symphonic is playing Scheherazade and 4th movement of Serenade for Strings...very pretty pieces, although the sixteenth notes in Serenade are killing me sweatdrop

Im actually learning to play the cello right now. I know how to play it but I just need to practice to play the hard music sheets.
