I did like the old theme with the violins. I thought it was nice. This new one is cool too and with the synth it feels more tech-y and geek-y. I suppose they're about even in my mind. I really like how the tempo is still faster than the older ones, it makes it seem more exciting. I mean, if you compare the Hartnell openings with the Tenant openings the Hartnell ones are turtles by comparison.

I'm shocked people didn't like it. When I heard the new opening it made me even more excited. As for the episode it reminded me of the episode of Torchwood with the Reset pill.

It sounds cool, but I'm really fond of the old one. It was the first who theme I ever heard, and after listening to it for three seasons it really grew on me. But I think I could get used to the new one. It's not "my" theme, but it doesn't sound bad either. Just different.

What I like is that it's similar enough to the previous theme so that the change isn't too drastic, but it's different enough for you to notice and go "Oh. New theme. Cool."

O right the theme tune... no wonder I was confused, i was thinking tardis theme for some odd reason.
Yea I don't think I really prefer one or the other, they're both ok! 3nodding

SYNTHESIZER. HECK YEA. I love the new theme. Sort of. It's not as good as the last, and it sounds...empty to me. It hasn't got as much depth as the last one. My dad agrees. He says there is too much guitar too xD I like the guitar, it has AWESOME ROCK.

The old theme sort of has the Master's drum beat in it and the new one doesn't... well, that's what it sounds like to me. Anyone else think this?

Maiadorn I'd quite like to see a return of the Doctor's face in the opening titles. Only if...well, you know how in the Colin Baker titles the face starts off serious then gives a smile, and in the Sylv titles then the face starts off serious then gives that little wink? I'd like to see DaveDoc's face in the titles do the same thing...but with that giant Looney Tunes grin from Utopia. xd
