Danae whinied in suprise at the sudden charge from the stallion. He was quick but unfortunately not quick enough it would seem, for Danae had regained her composure and was already hightailing towards a forest of trees. This was indeed a fine adventure for such a fine night and Danae was relishing it to the utmost. Who'd knew when she'd be albe to have such fun as this?
Turning around just briefly enough to know where the stallion was, Danae then whinied a challenge once more and leapt over a fallen tree before making her way towards the towering forest. Arguably, the winged stallion shouldn't be able to fly after her when there were so many trees and branches about to hinder him.
Better to even things out a little thought the blue mare as she cantered.

Dustin chuckled to himself as he heard her whinny in suprise and then watched as she headed for the forest. Instinctively he tucked his wings at tightly to his body as he could get them. Even though the wings were massive, they didn't hinder him too much in the way of speed on the ground.
He followed right behind her and lept over the same fallen tree she had, more so to she her that he could do the same things she could and because it was fun to jump over trees for once instead of flying over them like he usually did. Run, run as fast as you can he thought with a smile and continued after her and trying to remember the last he had played this game.

The clip-clopping of the stallion's hooves seemed to be indicating that the stallion was gaining speed and this suprised Danae. She had not expected him to be as fast on land when he had his wings in the way. Truth be told, she had half wanted to slow down in order to give the stallion some 'face' but now there was no reason to as Dustin seemed to be carrying himself well back there.
Now, this would indeed be an interesting game to play. thought Danae as she too increased her pace and marveled at the white puffs of smoke that seemed to come from her mouth and nostrils.

The black stallion also had white puffs of smoke coming from his nose and mouth and he ran through the forest in hot persuit of the blue mare ahead of him. It had been some time since he had run instead of flown and he was starting to see just how out of shape his legs were from too much flying. Still he continued on, enjoying this game of cat and mouse.
He saw her quicken her pace and tried to make his own legs go faster but he was tiring out. If they could just get through the forest and hit a meadow he could fly infront of her, and wouldn't that just give her a scare!
