Well this conversation wasn't getting far, it was getting boring, she supposed they could talk all day long and just let the snow melt around them or the ice to freeze to their hooves. She was itching to get moving again, and it wasn't in the direction of her home. Nor any other obvious direction either, she just wanted to go somewhere.
"I haven't met much of my own family either. I know know of my parents, grandparents and adopted cousins." She shrugged. "Nothing that interesting."
She shivered as the wind blew again. making her feathers fluff out about her wings and the short hairs within her mane stand on end. Was it getting colder out or was it just her? She shivered again, It was getting colder and she wasn't liking it. A soft whine escaped her as it had when she was younger, she hated the cold.
"Brr, it's getting colder out here. I hate the cold." She whined stomping wishing it were warmer.

Kiefer let the cold shiver run down his spine. The wind rolled by, reiterating what he already knew. The winder season was hear, full blown in it's harshness. He brought his green eyes to the sky, it was already dyed the soft purples and pinks that warned of the oncoming night time. Oh joy. That was exactly what he needed, night. It would just get colder, and he was in no mood to sleep.
He watched the mare shiver, and felt bad for her for a moment. Sure, he was just as cold. But his adrenaline and pounding blood over what had happened in the most recent past kept him rather warm.
"It is getting cold. Perhaps we should find a cave for you? I myself am not in any sort of mood to rest or stay in a cave, but I would be happy to help you look. If you'd like" he said, feeling funny about having such a normal conversation with her. He was in no such mood for friendlyness. But even in his state, Kiefer could not help but be friendly, it was just in his nature.
Being an idiot seemed to be in it too, though.

A cave? well they were all well and good, but Wica was getting tired of sleeping in caves as she had been pretty much born in a cave. She even had a hiding place that was within a cave, she was starting to get tired of caves. She shook her head, no she didn't want to go to a cave, she wanted somewhere, where she could see the skies without hurting her neck.
"Er... I don't feel like sleeping in a cave, they get too.... Crowded at times." She shuddered at the thought of the one her family had lived in, "I would prefer a thicket or something. Somewhere, where I can watch the stars... when they are out anyways." She giggled portraying her namesake.

Kiefer blinked. He really couldn't do anything right, could he? Even when he made a suggestion it seemed like it was wrong. Ah, well. He can't be perfect. But then again, being not a screw-up every once in a while might be kind of nice, too.
Kiefer nodded. "Well. I can help you find that too if you'd like.." he said, slowly. "Unless you want to alone...which isn't a big deal" he said. Kiefer knew he should probably go back to Journey. To explain himself. Running like that. It was...shameful. A horrible thing to do. he was ashamed of himself.
The stallion shifted his weight, and looked to the sky again. How would he possibly survive this night? He wasn't tired, but just so...so antsy. There was no way he could sit still, and there was certainly no way he could sleep.

She watching Keifer blink at her as if she had said something to upset him. She backed away a couple of steps to give him some space. She hoped what she had said hadn't upset him, but it was the truth, she was tired of caves. After living in one pretty much all her life and everything. Shaking her head she looked away for a moment before looking back.
"That woud be nice," She nodded, "Company is better then being alone. And really, I don't mind caves, it's just that, after living in one for so lone.... It kinda gets boring." She shrugged fanning out her wings a little.

Kiefer let himself crack a smile again. "Awesome. To be honest, I'm not familiar with this area at all." he said, looking around. The areas where he grew up were so far away now, a few days running at full speed. But he hadn't been in familiar territory for so long, he was used to it. It usually didn't matter knowing where you were if you weren't going anywhere.
"Have you got any idea where one is near by?" he asked, looking back and forth. As if one would be view. He felt silly when he did such things. But a dimwitted moment now and then did no harm. He looked back at the mare.
He wondered if they would have to cross the frozen pond, or lake, or whatever it was. There was so much snow that only standing on it could you figure out where it started and ended. He wasn't sure how safe it was, either. But there had been many days of cold. So it shouldn't be too bad.
