"It must be hard," she spoke as though it was a passing thought as she stared at the ground before her, intent on not tripping since it seemed to somehow be getting darker and harder to see. Her eyes were not use to the dim light, blocked from the mass of trees ovehead. "... to have no one to watch you're back while you rest."

She shook her head quickly, "I wouldn't know of that though... How do you know where we're going?"

Tehila wrinkled her nose at the unpleasent smell of mud or something else. They had to get through that? She could almost feel hungry eyes of the shadows threatening to engulf her and her ignorance. This would not turn out well, she concluded.

"Snakes?" she echoed in a hesitant tone. It was obvious she was trying to hide her heavy dread and fear of the word. Tehila did not like snakes and that was an understatement.

Is there no way around? Tehila looked back.... only to be greeted by a pair of slit eyes lurking in the shadows. "Anjel... I think I see a snake." This was no ordinary snake. This was a big snake, at least big enough to eye them up as possible food.

Tehila felt frozen by the creature's predatory gaze until something hit her from the side and she stumbled, snapped out of her daze. She looked from Anjel to the snake then back. The darn male was taunting the creature! It's offical, he's suicidal.

She stumbled away from the line of strike only to hear his next words. "Go? What do you mean by Go?!" she growled, bewildered by his implication. He was planning to handle the snake alone? However, she still obeyed, backing away from the pair with a few steps until the mud and a branch caught her paw and she suddenly sunk into the damp ground.

The snake snapped its head at the sudden movement and hint of weakness. It moved its body down and started toward Tehila.

She bent back and hissed in pain, realizing her ankle had been twisted and her leg snagged between a crack on the fallen piece of log. Tehila tugged at the dead trunk hoping to free her back leg from but failed rather miserably. Then she tried tugged her leg but was stopped by the sudden shot of numbing pain up from the leg.

"Yea, not helping," she growled up to Anjel watching him wrestle the snake. She had to admit to herself.. . this was going to hurt. She gave a final tug of her leg and hissed feeling the tender skin torn then bleed but fell forwards as she escaped the evil log. Standing on three good limbs, she limped forwards more to escape the battlefield and into the somewhat safety besides a tree.

As he killed the darn snake, she sighed a relief and sat down to clean her wound. It was apparently worst than she imagined considering she couldn't feel the pain when she was rather into the battle ragging before her. Now that everything seemed to slow back down, she felt the dull throb of her leg and she had no doubts it would be much worst to put pressure on it.

Tehila could tell Anjel was rather displeased with her at the moment when he approached her. She looked away. "It's fine." As though to prove it, she moved to stand and put pressure onto her leg. She suddenly fell forwards and into Anjel, pressing her head against him as a burning ran up her leg and almost through her whole body, waiting for it to pass. When it did she removed herself abruptly and glared towards the throbbing limb. Darn leg.

Leir watched from above as the two continued to make way through the forest floor. He smirked as he gently jumped off the branch he was standing on and landed gehind him. "Very well done!" He said as he shook some mud off his paw. HE glared at thye brown stain left on his fur, then immeadtly rubbed his paw against some wood, just to clean it off a little. "So where arey you two headed? Honey moons in the jungle never end well..."

Leir chuckled. "I kid , I kid. I know perfectly well why yoyu two roam together." He positioned himself so he was sitting calmly, keeping his paws out the mud. "I live in this jungle, the entrance is hostile, deeper in this mess , you will find a lush forest , not too far. I and a few other ulaya live there, i do not know them though, we are... territorial , you can say." He shrugged a bit as he blinked and smiled kindly at the strangers. "I can guide you there , if you so wish."
