I love the cavies! i know their drumline XDD a person in my marching band's cousin trains them in everything. lol. no lie. They came to the BOA Grand Nationals in 2006 to watch my band preform our show, we were like so honored...^^" But i'd have to say that i like blue devils the most. They have 11 DCI championship titles. and i'm always amazed with their trumpeters ranges.

A female version of Cavaliers? I'm sorry, but... no. They started out as a boy scout troop, it's only fair that it stays that way.

There was an all-female DCI band at one point, but I don't think they have one anymore. And there's pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenty of bands out there that accept females. I mean, it'd be great that Cavies accepted the laday's but that's apart of their tradition and I'm not going to mess with that. They're great at what they do and keep wowing us year after year!
And plus Phantom Regiment is the shiznibiz so yeah...glad they accept females (HOOYAH!) ~ So be greatful for what corps us ladys can join!

Beautiful explanation Rhapsody~
As for me~I'm a bigger fan of The Madison Scouts than The Cavaliers. They had so much power back then[ check out '81's year], and now they are at a fallen stage right now and hopefully new members will join and bring them back to the top because after watching this year's DCI show at the movies, I was extremely disappointed that once The Mads played and the other corps began to play, they were just toppling over the guys. D:> I felt so bad at the end-their show was amazing this year. Should of made top ten I say.
The Cavaliers are right at the top with The Mads. Their show "Frameworks"-all time best. Seriously...along with "Machine" and what not. This year's didn't catch my heart~but seriously.
I'm a HUGE Madison Scout fan and I hope this year's show is just as great or even better.

That all-female corps was called the Bon-Bons...it was way waaaay back in the 70s. They were a branch off of The Cadets, I believe.
I'm a Blue Devils alumni...so I'm always rooting for my boys in blue on the inside...but I'm out there for all of the corps.
Except Pioneer. They just need a hug.
