They both have flaws, but the second is preferable. I really like the hair in the first one. And the way his eyes are is something I like as well. Man those ears in the first one...... could they tone it down a BIT ? Please. For the sake of us all.

Looking at the styles of the two different animators, you really have to go back and look over the series again; I think that there are definitely more than two "styles." Different animators oversee different episodes. That's why during (most) of the Noa arc, justice was done to Seto's character design. But then we look at the animators who have that tendancy to ******** up Seto's ears and chin like he was *hoshithere'salazytownreferenceforyou* or something. You know what I'm talking about.

Every week, I give my last breath of being awake, to be the best. Better than than my best. I like the hair and eyes in the first one...but those ears... D x Style 2 would be great if it had Style 1's eyes. x D
And at that last exhaul, I smile, thinking that I have made it.

[b u n n y] Death T-2 It's a slight mix for me, really. Though I like the second style you've posted a bit more, I don't like his chin in the profile view. It's too far forward, IMO, the only thing that should jut out [as far as his upper half is concerned] are his ears. Kaiba with regular ears loses a small bit of his physical characteristic... But the first style there seems a bit "exaggerated" at far as his facial features go. Those ears look like they've got botox injections. I like my Kaiba his outstanding ears, but look at the size of those suckers! I could mount them on the wall over a fireplace somewhere! But I like the hair in the top left as opposed to the top right. Nice and dramatic... I agree with you when it comes to the botox ears. Still, I like my anime a little realistic. ^.^ And when it comes to ears, I like style 2. They just look better and work with his facial structure.
Personally, when I think of Kaiba in real life I think of Drew Fuller:
But that's just me. He looks a whole lot like him I have to admit. whee
And when it comes to that wallpaper: ... Oo.... Damn... you're right. @_@ so.... uglieeee.... ee! if kaiba were real, he's porbably look like that o_O
