"If you say so."
Whatever, though he didn't know any girls who thought it was hard to talk about themselves. Most girls didn't know when to shut up, rambling on about themselves and other things he didn't care about. In his mind he mocked his sister, rattling on in her annoying voice about whatever she thought he cared enough to listen to when in fact he was ignoring her. Snort, as if she didn't ignore him as well. But whatever, he didn't want to think about that right now, it was too nice of a day.
"Then just try talking about things you like."
Wait, he remembered, that tiger striped lioness, she was okay, she had asked him to look out for someone with silver eyes? Silver eyes, pfft, half the lions he knew had silver eyes, was he going to ask his brother if he had known her? Yeah right. But he had said he'd keep an eye out right? May as well even if the chance was zero, it was as good a subject far away from siblings as any right? Or maybe not, whatever.
"Do you know anyone with lots of stripes?"

Like? What did she like, besides her sister, she sat in silence for a moment, trying to find something she liked, and things flew across her conscious and she smiled, "I like it here, I like having a home for once in my life...I like it when I can sleep through a whole night without nightmares or worry..." yes, she liked that when it happened, but still, it was so little that it actually happened for her, no matter how much she wished for it to be so.
Flicking her tail she raised her eyes at him and tilted her head, stripes? "What kind of stripes? Nix has stripes but...small ones?" had he seen Nix already? Hmm. But who with stripes, she closed her eyes again, tried to think, "I..don't know...I lose thinggs, memories sometimes, so I don't know..."
She had lost a lot of things indeed.

"It's okay here I guess."
The pridelands was a beautiful place, it was safe, the herds provided plenty of food to support the large pride, and there were lots of places to explore and mischief to get into. But as often happens with the young, home is a boring place, far less interesting than what lay beyond, naively taken for granted when one has nothing to compare it to.
Nitemares? That was the last thing he wanted to hear about, a girl's nitemares, though if he thought about it there were probably worse things a girl could talk about. Eww, no, he didn't even want to -think- about what else a girl could possibly talk about that was worse or he'd have nitemares himself.
"No, lots of stripes, black stripes, all over."
It would have been easy to simply say stripes like a tiger, that was if it weren't for the fact that he had never seen a tiger nor knew to make the comparison. He still wasn't even sure why he had brought it up or why he should care to correct her on what the stripes looked like, why had he even thought of it?

The black goddess tried to let some flash of a memory into mind, but what was there made no sense, and she could not see any visible stripes, there was just shadows, moving in the dark, and again, she shook her head. "I can't remember," though she was curious why, though, again, not so curious. Perhaps she had done something wrong before and something was coming back about to bite her? No, best for now to keep low on the scale of activity now.
Though..something felt off.
"Perhaps whoever has stripes, I'll cross by them, and we'll see, I mean, if they crossed by you, then perhaps me too..." yes, that made sense...sort of. She yawned, almost with a squeak, and she half smiled to herself, watched him, and smiled softly.
For someone, at first, seemed so...distant, it seemed not the case at this moment.

"Sure, maybe."
The lion shrugged, whatever. He hadn't expected her to know the lioness, after all he knew that there were many lions with eyes that color, he still didn't really know why he'd even asked her. But he had asked as he said he would, not that he was sure it really mattered.
His gaze drifted skyward again, eyes lost in the haze of blue. If he had wings as the 'goddess' did, he'd never touch the ground again. (Hah! He'd love to see how his sister deal with that. *smirk*) But then she had already proven herself different from any expectation he may have had, what was one more oddity?

Rage's eyes went up to the sky as well, as Shin looked up, so did she, "Its fun sometimes....the feeling up there, though it gets cold..." she said absent mindedly, looking as the sky just stayed perfect it seemed, so perfect, even when it was raining or a storm was brewing. "Maybe someday, if you want, I can try to show you...might need my sister's help, but we could try." she said with a smile, not knowing what he was thinking, though everyone seemed to like the idea of flying.
She gave a yawn though, rolled her shoulders and watched him for a moment, "You can...let me know if you want to...or, just want to go for a walk around, maybe show me some areas around here...if you want..." she said drolling on, least it sounded that way to her. "My den with my sister is that way," she said with a motion in one direction with her head.
And she took a few steps, gave him a smile.
"See you around Shin..." and she was off to take a nap, and perhaps tell Nix of the male she had met.
Shin.
