"Painful, duh." Prince said in his mind sarcastically, unable to thaw the frost covering his beak. Prince was now quite thankful of the sheet of ice that gave him some protection from the attack. But it was still quite painful.
"We're almost out!" Luna shouted to her pokemon, ignoring the other pokemon. Her eyes were focusd on the bloody scene. She felt a bit hopeless, but she knew that as long as Prince wasn't unconscious, the battle would still go on. She just had to endure it. The rain continued to pour.

Isamu paused his attack, beathing heavily as he exerted himself, his claws full of feathers and a bit of blood. He took a moment to lick his black sharp claws, tilting his head to admire his work, the rain falling on his coat, smearing the spatters.
The trainer was glad her pet had been enjoying the fight and she was rather glad to see Luna feel the shame she had felt from their previous battle. The raindrops clinked as they hit her armor as she called out another move, "Quick Isamu, before he get's loose, toxic!"
He stopped licking his paw, turning his attention back to Prince. The elder pokémon opened his mouth to bear his fangs as his tongue rolled over them, a dark purple liquid mixed in with his saliva. His mouth lunged at the pidgeot's flesh, hoping to make quick work of his nervous system.

"Ick! Hurry Prince, Natural Gift!" Luna commanded, the battle didn't look so good for her. Her heart raced. Poison. That was new. Her pokemon had been burned plenty of times by Noah's pokemon, paralyzed plenty by various others, and even frozen a few times. But never poisoned. The new thought made her half worried, but it also excited her. Another challenge to overcome.
Prince nodded, the Belue berry tied around his talon glowed. Electricity started to cackle from it. Despite the extreme pain he felt from his back -- Prince admitted he felt quite like an old man -- he managed to ascend up to meet Isamu, talons outstretched.
The absol managed to clamp onto his talon, earning an indignant and pained squack from Prince. But almost immediately, the electricity from the berry snaked down Prince's leg and towards Isamu.

The absol's pupils grew large as the electricity wound straight into his body, traveling through his nervous system and beggining to shut down his muscles.
"Grr, quick Isamu, blizzard before it's too late!" Kailana began to grit her teeth, she just couldn't lose, not now, now that they held the higher ground.
Isamu pulled his jaws to his feet, releasing a blast of ice on himself, giving his sleek fur a nice thick shiny coating to protect him.

"We won't stop a little ice stop us, right Prince? Another natural gift!" The trainer commanded. In her mind, ice was water. Water conducted electricity. Right? Luna hoped her theory was correct.
Prince let out a raspy "GEOOOO!" The poison was getting to him, spreading even faster due to his flying, and it was quite painful. The heat didn't make it any easier for him. He perched on the Isamu-pop and focused his mind onto his berry again.
The berry once again cackled with electricity. Once again, it snaked down Prince's talon and transfered to the encased Isamu.

The current from the berry was stronger than expected, sending a mind-numbing electric charge through Isamu's body. He knew his trainer meant well, hoping to protect his body from the intense heat from the battle field but his shell couldn't seal this attack.
His ice shield soon shattered as he was held down, paralysed so much to budge an inch as he growled, Stupid...BIRD!
"Grr, hang in there a little longer Isamu." Again her eye fixated on Luna, the irratating little no-good busy-body, Just you wait...

"Prince! He's breaking free! Shock him again!" The trainer ordered, wanting to fully utilize the new move they had developed. Her attention was focused on the battle. She felt the other trainer staring at her, for the first time. A small shiver ran down her spine. It was a bit intimidating. Just a tiny bit. But she had to focus on the battle. She could not afford to have any hesitation. Or be scared of the other trainer.
Luna thought back to the time she jumped at her and scared her at the hotel. Giggling a bit, she forgot all of her fears and her attention returned to the battle.
Prince grunted. He would attack, but differently this time, to make the absol REALLY pay, and hopefully give him plenty of humiliation as well. Relieved that the last of the poison was out of his system, he pooped. Above Isamu.
But it didn't stop there. Prince's berry started to glow once more. The bird pokemon squeezed the berry with its talon, letting some of the juice down as well as some of its static. If things went to plan, Isamu wouldn't be very happy. "Bombs away!" He shouted.

Kailana eyed Prince's moves, horrified at what he was attempting before ordering Isamu, "Don't take that from him!"
Isamu quickly scurried away from the landing sight, dodging the 'bomb' and keeping his distance from the aerial pokémon. However, he failed to dodge the berry's juice, feeling it splash against his fur and paralyze him yet again.
The trainer was pretty much over the battle, this sort of battling was too much for her to take. Her hand bunched up in a rage, wanting to smack the smirk off the girl as soon as the battlefield was cleared.

Luna had to hold back giggles once again when she saw Prince's interpretation of her attack. She took a deep breath to quickly calm herself down again. Getting unfocused wasn't very wise. "Let's go in! Steel wing!" Luna ordered.
Prince, his mood greatly improved due to the last attack, flew towards Isamu with enthusiasm. His wings glowed again, quickly sharpening and gaining a metallic shine. "Let's see how YOU like this!" The pokemon cried out as he grew closer and closer towards the paralyzed foe.

The absol mustered up all his might to dodge the oncoming pidgeot, swiftly leaping away from his wings before Prince had a chance to make contact.
"Ha, that'll teach him, ey Isamu?" She knew that they only had to hold on for a little longer, their turn would come soon enough.
Isamu snickered, spitting into the air towards the fowl, "If that's all I have to worry about from you, then I'll have no problem snatching victory!" He snorted, lowing his body slightly, his body getting used to his paralyzed state and allowing him slight mobility.

"Craaaaap~" Luna said, wanting to smack her forehead. What horrible karma! The trainer let out a light sigh before recomposing herself. She couldn't let one miss bring her down! "Well, if at first you don't succeed, try try try again, right?" She asked to her pokemon.
Prince grudgingly agreed with his trainer. There was still plenty of chances to inflict damage. Prince swooped ina gain towards the absol once more, talons outstretched and ready to rip skin. "Geooooooo!"

"Dodge it Isamu!" Kailana screamed when she saw the pidgeot's talons ready to scrape at her absol.
Isamu quickly jumped out of Prince's reach once more, still slightly limping from his paralysis, though he was gaining more of his feeling back.

Luna sighed. No luck for her. Well, persistance was good, right?" She thought to herself. "Alright Prince! Whirlwind!" She ordered. Hey, if they keep attacking, SOMETHING had to hit, right?
Prince returned to a fairly high altitude, knowing that the other pokemon was about to come out of paralysis. His trainer's attack choice hinted that. He glared at the absol, this was indeed a though battle. But he was determined to triumph! Prince spread his wings wide before flapping them to create strong razor sharp gusts of wings towards the absol.

"Ha! Easy as pie.." The absol manuevered quickly around the giant whirlwind as he shook off the parlysis, a bit of the gust thwaping his fur.
"Let's give him some of his own medicine Isamu, thunder wave!" Kailana knew they had to try their best shot and stunning the big feathery pest was a good way to gain an advantage.
The absol opened his mouth for his attack, a small yellow sphere forming before his attack was fired. The electric orb sped up high into the air before it burst, sending out large charged waves.

((It only took about a week-ish this time xD ))
"Let's try something new then!" The trainer said, grinning a bit. She was definately going to do anything she could to help Prince crawl closer to victory, including looking up any moves he could possibly learn. Of course, they hadn't exactly PERFECTED the move yet, but it was worth a shot. "Refresh!"
Prince was struck by the waves of thunder and started to spiral downwards towards one of the heated pillars once more. He could feel the air around him get warmer and warmer as he decended. He needed to break free! Prince narrowed his eyes, a white lite started to flicker around him as he attempted to use refresh.
