I seriously hope he never quits, least not til he's really extremely old.

I heard rumors that he would stop in 2010... But I refused to believe it... I read the last paragraph aloud and had to keep from crying because my roommate was in the room... I... I feel happy he's not going to continue to worsen his health and he's going to give himself a break but... If he takes a break... We won't know how is health is doing after that, I think. With the media uncaring about him if he's no longer doing his music and all the promotional stuff, it pains me to think we won't... we won't know how his health is, or how he's doing. I've only been a Gackt fan for a few months but I fell in love with his ideals and his mindset. And with the media not so much at his back, I won't be hearing anymore of his talk about how much... he wants to light the way for people like a Moon does, or how he likes girls that treat his cars right *giggles*. Just hearing him talk about things in interviews, no matter what it is, I like hearing it... And... To think in 2010, all that might stop, ittaisa...

don't worry!... i highly doubt the man will stop. SKIN is so brand spanking new! how can he leave that so soon? (Plus, all three members of SKIN are his great friends). I heard a rumor lately that... he might be making a new movie? Don't get your hopes up or anything, IT IS A RUMOR!!!!! nothing is solid. But i have a feeling that the secret trip to Paris has to have something behind it, right? (thus the movie rumor) I say he is in the mist of recording a new album... thus the trip to Paris. I mean, You-san and Ju-Ken-san went... I heard Chacha-san did as well. Drummer (Jun-ji-san or Ryu-san), i'm not sure, but... something big is a-stirring with Master Gackt... And knowing him... he is a man who craves the spotlight no matter how many times he tries to avoid it. he loves the warmth from his fans. he loves to make music to get his messages across to everyone. he's learning all these languages: English, Chinese (mandarin to be more exact), and Korean (most recent and still going)... wouldn't that be a waste to just learn and not use? plus... the camera loves him... and we all know that. plus, he has been building his website to go mobile... that would be a waste to start if he were to just stop in 3 years. i like to think "+". i think his news of "stopping in 2010" is to get people on the edge of their seats to see if he would really do it. don't worry! 3 years is still a long way. think "+"!!!!!

If for some weird reason, Gackt really did stop what he does so greatly, I would be forever saddened.
But I totally agree, I don't think he'll stop so soon, his passion for what he does and the people who surround and support him is too great.

i think in his PBVIII... near the end, he and the JOBs played a game. the JOBs did a survey from the staffs/crews about Gackt. one of the questions was about what they want Gackt to continue in... and a fat percentage of the staff wanted him to continue to record more great music. now, i don't know if it from their loyalty and devotion, that they like him, or for their own personal gain... but i thought that was enough to inspire him to keep it all up. he seemed to be very pleased and happy to hear that from them.

I read somewhere he's 'maybe' going to quit 2010 cause of his healt sad
of course I want him to continue waaay longer, but if it's a health reason I can totally understand that he'd stop
I know it's very sad and all, but better he lives a long live off stage, then he dies on stage in just some years, don't you think?
I want him to die of old age, cause I just like him so much heart
still I hope he'll stay in business somehow, but healthy *fan-girl*
