Well the green had it right. There was someone out here making the ball move around on its own. Well to them it was on it's own. To the ghost it was just plain hilarious. "Well you are right about there being someone out here making the ball move." He said still leaving himself invisible his voice echoing around them. "I wonder if you can find me though." The ischa loved a good game of hide and seek...at least when he's the one invisible and others spend hours trying to find him.

Kallisto started at the voice and spun around, assuming that it had come from behind her. When she saw nothing and nobody, the elegantly made mare pinned her ears flat against her skull; this wasn’t right. There wasn't any cover near enough to be hiding a Nequus, and indeed if they had been hiding how had they made the ball move without being seen? So... So was this magic of some kind or was there something unseen nearby? The flaxen mare shuddered; she wasn't sure which would be worse, whatever it was that voice wasn't friendly. Lost for a plan of action, the tendril-winged Nequus turned her pale blue eyes onto Mohan, hoping that the taller creature might have some idea of what to do.

Mohan started and turned toward the mare as an anonymous voice floated through the air. He had thought perhaps it was some sort of trick that she was trying to play upon him but the confusion upon her face told him all he needed to know. Well if it wasn't him or the mare then who or what could it be? Suspiciously he glanced down at the tri-colored Zrun who stood next to him.

Feeling the suspicious gaze that had been turned onto him the zrun shook his head in denial. "No m'lord. You should know as well as I that I have not even the slightest hint of magic." If it wasn't Mohan or the strange mare who had caused this then who could it be? CC hadn't ever heard of an invisible Nequus but the shrubbery around them was too small to hide even a bae. It would barely be able to hide him!

The green wizard sighed. He had known his Zrun couldn't do magic but had thought that perhaps he would have at least had some sort of clue. Lost of any other reaction he began to study the are around him. He started with hoof prints first. Even if the creature couldn't be seen then surely his prints in the snow would give him away? Unfortunately the only distinctive prints he could see were his and the mares. The rest were scattered around so much that even if only one creature had made them there would have been no hint of where it could be hiding.

The ghost walked around them amused as they tried to figure out what and where he was. As he walked he purposely brushed up against the both them making it feel like there had been a cold breeze...only without the breeze. "Can you not find me?" He asked laughter in his voice as he paused in his rounds to watch them some more. "This is amusing to watch I must say."

The sweep of a chill sent a shudder running through the mare’s body and she spun around once more, and once more she saw nothing. The name of a thing was beginning to creep into the back of her mind but she didn’t want to utter it aloud in case she was wrong. Or in case she was right come to that. Ghost. Dead Nequus. Spirit lingering in the world of the living for uncertain purpose.

Kallisto pinned her ears back further, if that was possible, and stared about herself with pale eyes rolling. This was bad. This was very, very bad. Could ghosts hurt you? She wasn’t sure, she’d only ever heard stories of ghost tricking the living into hurting themselves but having never encountered a real ghost before she had no idea if this was really so or if they had a way to make you as cold and dead as they were.

Perhaps she should just run. That was beginning to sound like a very sensible idea, actually. The flaxen mare gave another shiver, straining her ears for any sound that might give the specter’s position away as she glanced over at Mohan and wondered if he was thinking of running too.

As the cool chill crept through him he wondered what this.. this creature could possibly be. No living Nequus he had ever heard of was able to stay invisible so long. Perhaps that was the key. No living Nequus. It was possible that this was no live animal they were dealing with but rather a spirit. However, what was it's purpose here? Did it mean them harm? Or was it just rather bored? So far the actions it had shown held no intention of malice. Though it was possible it was playing with them before it struck.

Mohan glanced over to the mare and searched her expression. Whatever her thoughts were they seemed to be frightening her. She looked as if at any second she would be gone and would never once look back. Whatever it was that she thought most definately had her panicked and about to run. Personally Mohan wasn't much of one for running. She could run if she wished but he would stay put and try to figure things out.

CC looked up at his master trying to figure out what had him so deep in thought. The situation had made him slightly nervous too but it seemed as if he was in no way part of this so he felt rather safe. However, it seemed that Mohan was a bit worried about something and that mare was most definately frightened. Had he felt any fear at all the zrun probably would have run at the first chance he had if Mohan would have permitted it. Though if his master was not panicked then he saw no reason to move from his position.

Laughing a malicious laugh the ghost walked against them once more causing it to be cold. He was enjoying the frightened look upon the mare's face and being able to frighten them so. "You things amuse me so. Can you not find me? Perhaps I'm right here in front of you." He was standing directly in front of the mare as he spoke and blew a breath of foul smelling air on the mare. Turning away from her he walked to in front of the stallion and stood there in front of him. "Or I could be in front of you and you would never know it." His voice cold as he spoke.

Kallisto drew her head back at the awful smell and snorted it out of her nostrils as best she could. This was bad, this was bad, this was... boring? Where had that thought come from? The dappled Ichsa gave herself a shake and looked about again. She still couldn’t see anything, and it seemed that whatever it was wasn’t about to show itself. Maybe it couldn’t. Maybe it was just a dead voice on with wind with no more power than a puff of snow. She didn’t know though, that was the thing. For all she knew, any moment now this thing, whatever it was, would break its routine and do... something.

The flaxen mare stamped a hoof, shivering again as she realised she was actually cold not just afraid. Shaking herself again to clear the snow that was trying to settle on her back, the blue-eyed Nequus frowned. She didn’t want to be here anymore, this wasn’t fun but she had a feeling she was going to have to remain at least a little longer, until she had some idea of which way to run, and how far and fast she had to run to put whatever this was behind her. She hoped something would change the situation soon, otherwise she’d just have to make a break for it before her muscles got too cold and hope.

Mohan took a slight step back as he heard the voice in front of him. He had allways enjoyed having at least a small distance between he and who he was conversing with. The voice was too close for comfort even if he couldn't see the body. Once he was at a more comfortable distance he tried to asses the situation. If it was a ghost there would be nothing they could do but wait it out. If it wasn't a ghost.. then he had no idea what it was. He knew no other creature with these sorts of powers and knew not how to deal with it. Once again he glanced over to the mare and once again he noted that she looked as ready to run as ever.

With a sigh the green stallion looked infront of him where the creature had been before and hoped that what he was doing would work. "You, whoever you are. What do you wish of us?" Perhaps if it needed anything from them they could help and then it would be on its way. However, he feared, it was probably just having a bit of fun with them. As much as it annoyed him he could understand.

"What do I wish of you? Maybe nothing, maybe payment, or maybe just a bit of fun. Why should I reveal?" The ghost said cruel laughter noticeable in his voice. He was enjoying this to much. Walking over to in front of the mare he dropped his invisibility allowing himself to become visible. His eyes glowed red as he glared at them. The body that had once been invisible was now transparent but one could tell he used to be black in the living world. "Now that you can see me perhaps you wished you hadn't."

All things considered, it wasn’t as bad as she’d expected. However, all things considered, it was still pretty bad. Kallisto swallowed and backed up a few paces; definitely a ghost then. A ghost that seemed to want nothing more than their fear. The Ichsa shivered again, dislodging more snow from her person, and continued to stare at the apparition before her. In life, she considered, she might have found him rather attractive except for the vindictive expression on his partially transparent face.

“Nice eyes,” she managed eventually, lacking anything better to say but feeling that she had been silent for quite long enough.

Mohan had to try very hard to supress a small snort at the mare's words. Eyes? That's all that she could come up with at a time like this is his eyes? Well at least she wasn't quivering like a coward. The green stallion then turned to face this phantom. He did have a menacing look about him but in all reality wasn't that frightful. The eyes were a bit eerie too but all together in the middle of the day standing in a patch of snow he just looked out of place. "Shouldn't you be somewhere a tad bit creepier?" He asked. It would probably get him into trouble but definately sounded better then commenting about the ghost's eyes.

CC shivered a little as the phantom stallion cooled the air. He would have moved closer to Mohan for warmth if he had not feared what punishment would possibly come from his master. Though, perhaps, the most shocking of all were his master's words. CC had never really heard the green one talk to anyone like that before, then again he hadn't ever really seen him talk to a ghost either. He just hoped that it wasn't a mistake.

The now visible ghost snorted at the comment about his eyes. "The mare says I have nice eyes does she? Perhaps." His eyes flashed brightly as he turned his attention now over to the green stallion. "Be somewhere creepier? Are you saying that ghosts should not be walking in such nice places as this area? I have as much freedom as you do and you should remember that well." He walked around the green stallion as he spoke his voice harsh.
"Now what shall I do with the three of you?" He pondered eyes glaring at them.

Something in the back of Kallisto’s mind, perhaps something she’d been told long ago or perhaps just a hunch, was telling her that this ghost couldn’t do any worse than it already had. The chill must have been it passing through her, right? That had been nasty, but not dangerous. For all the red glow in its eyes, for all the apparent sharpness of its horn the black stallion before her probably had about as much substance and power as a breeze. That made her smirk a bit.

“Well,” the mare sniffed, recovering some of her poise, “if you’re reduced to taking suggestions you’re obviously not as evil-minded as you like to think. Can you actually do anything but make people shiver by the by, or are you all talk?” If she was wrong... well, she was fast, probably fast enough to get away from the not-quite-real thing before her. Dusting more snow from herself with her tendril wings, the mare turned to Mohan. “What do you think?” she asked the green stallion, canting her head on one side and pricking her ears forward attentively.

Mohan paused a moment. The mare had it right. What could something that was no more substance then air do to them? The coldness had been a bit chilling but he had yet to see anything that truly terrified them. Forgetting the Phantom's words he focussed more upon the mare.

"Well it seems that if this is the worst he can do then maybe we ought to ignore him? He can't do anything to us and what can we really do to him?" That, however, did make the green stallion wonder. What could they do to him? It seemed as if they were at a bit of a stale mate.
