Daemon watched Sado, and as he slipped, he snapped into parent mode, he hopped into the water as well, pebbles at his paws, and he craned his neck over to pick up Sado in a manner, no too cubbish...he didn't want his son to feel like he was babying him, but in a way just to protect his boy. He placed him back down near the edge, but shallow enough where Sado could stand, and he let go, some of his white mane now damp.
"You alright?"
"But mommy..." and she was cut short by Sado falling in, daddy helping him and mommy running to make sure her brother was okay. Her ears swiveled back, and she padded after her mother, crouching low somewhat, and stopped at hte water's edge, peering at it.
It almost hurt her brother!
She was scared, if it could do that to her brother what could it do to her?!

Everything had happened so fast, that Sado didn't notice anything wrong until he was all wet, and he saw his dad looking at him, kinda wet too! "Wooooah." He stood still for a moment, reeling from it...and then laughed.
"You look funny dad, with your mane only kinda wet!" He doubled over in laughter, only for a small bit though, until he realised that if he wasn't careful, he could slip right back in!
Ruffian's breath escaped her in a deep sigh as she leaned on her mate. "Thanks, Daemon," she whispered in his ear, giving him a quick nuzzle. At least they wouldn't have a tragedy today. She glanced over to Tearh, just noticing that she had crawled to the edge of the water. Well, that was a start!
"See? Sado's okay with the water! He's even laughing about it, and at us for worrying about him!" she explained, trying to make sure that her daughter was calm in the sudden moment of fear.

Daemon smiled and purred low in his throat at the minimum contact from his mate, then stopped as to not have the kids make faces (he tended to notice that the younger ones thought it strange and 'ewwy"). Daemon smirked at his son and ruffled the fur atop his head, "Well you look a bit silly as well, want to try again?" he asked standing and stepping into the edge of the water where it was very shallow.
He peered over at Tearh, then Ruffian, how to get Tearh in?
"Its really simple, you just have to move your legs evenly and push yourself up from the bottom, but forward as well, as if you were running...want to try again? I'll watch you, both of you..." he said peering at his youngest daughter. She always seemed so worried.
"Is mommy going to go in to?" Tearh asked as if mechanical, glancing up at her mother with bright blue eyes like that of the water and sky. She was nervous but...Sado seemed to have fun but, she wanted mommy to be there to. "Are you mommy?" she asked again, stepping towards her and leaning, almost clinging to one of her mother's forearms.
She didn't want her mom to not be there.

Sado giggled, splashing in the water as he tried to figure out this swimming business. He didn't have a clue as how to swim, but as long as his parents were there he didn't worry about it at all. SHe kept to where it was shallow, though, mainly by instinct.
"Woooah," he siad, flailing his arms in the water and actually able to move a bit. It worked! It felt like magic, really. "C'mon, Tearh! It's fun!" He splashed around more, his tail whipping around throwing beads of water everywhere.
Ruffain inwardly groaned. She didn't want to go into the water, really. She didn't like it, but she would do it if it would get her daughter over her fear. "Alright, alright," she said, nudging Tearh gently before guiding her towards the water. She didn't want to force her, though, so she wiggled out of her daughters grasp and slid into the water next to Daemon. She wasn't too far, but hopefully Tearh wouldn't think it was far away from her. "See? It's safe."

Daemon chuckled and splashed some water at Sado, and stayed put in the water watching his son carefully so that nothing would happen or have the slightest chance to happen. He flicked his tail and smiled at how Sado was urging Tearh on, and that was god. To have a strong sibling bond was a great thing, and would have both of them get stronger and have someone to lean on.
He smiled as Ruffian got into the water to have Tearh be more comfortable, Tearh seemed so close to Ruffian always.
This was family.
Tearh gulped and watched as her mother moved into the water. She was taller so, mommy didn't have to worry! But Sado was okay, and...mom AND dad were both there. She took a step, put a paw in the water and took it back as if she was burned, ears swiveled as she tried again. It was cool to the touch but, she took a breath, she could do this, right?
She could do this.
Ready, steady, go! Tearh hopped into the water with a squeak and felt her paws touch the bottom. Mommy wasn't too far away but, just enough that Tearh would have to move her legs like Sado. She swished them and tried keeping her head above the water, flailing somewhat, a smile spread across her maw as she moved forwards towards her mommy slowly, " mommy lookit!" For once Tearh felt accomplished, and, she hoped her mother was proud.
She did it, she really did it.
