She giggled at Althalus' reaction to the fish-Soquili, and she was also glad he was so perplexed by their existence! "We will have to go look for some one day, especially on a day where its not blizzarding." She rolled her eyes at the untamed weather, and glanced back at the colt to see what he was up to. When her eyes finally caught him, he was zig zagging back and forth, and she could only laugh in delight. "You better not fall again!" she yelled. It would be awful for him to take another tumble, and he might not handle it like the first time!
Porsche was having such a splendid time with this colt, but her body was not feeling as cheery as her mind. Her wings felt as if they weren't there, and the filly stopped herself before turning her eyes to the fluttery spectacles. It was one of the warnings her mother had told her, and Porsche felt idiotic for not listening. If she had left the cold minutes ago, she probably would have been better in no time. But now it was too late, and her wings felt invisible.
"Hmm, I might have a bit of a problem." she then told Althalus, and she turned to the colt before shaking her head. "My wings.. they might be frozen, which in most cases would be utterly terrible. But, my mom has a horn, which heals basically anything." Porsche suddenly felt terrible, since her mother would waste so much energy healing her. "I'm afraid I might have to head home.."
Seeing that the weather was atrocious anyways, it was no wonder that the two had lasted so long anyways! "One day my horn will be able to heal people too, its a wonderful gift. Like if you ever got super hurt, I could help!" She tried to keep her voice cheerful, but she was upset with herself for not listening to her mother. She wanted to be more mature, and make her mother proud. But at the moment, she had made a stupid mistake. "Which way do you have to go, Althalus? I have to head back towards the south." she nosed off to the side, and hoped that the colt wouldn't have to wander off on his own too much. "I am not completely sad, since we still have to find Soq-fish together." She gave Althalus a hopeful expression, before shivering all over again.

Oh, how Althalus wished the snow would melt already. That way they could go on yet another adventure, and not have to worry about all this cold and snowy stuff! As much fun as skating on ice was, it really was unbearable that they couldn't go find fish-faced-soquili right now. Ah well - patience, wasn't that what his parents taught him? Good things come to those who wait!
But all the fun and games suddenly came to a screeching halt as his winged friend announced her problem. Silver eyes went wide and he glances from her to her wings, and his ears pinned back some. Stepping forward, he stared at the fragile things that were coated in snow and cold. Frozen? Uh-oh . . . . "Do they hurt? I mean - will you be okay?"
Even though her mother had some magical horn - or something - his brows knitted slightly with concern. He felt kind of terrible that their games had suddenly caused her wings to stop working, and if more permanent damage happened . . . oh, oh he'd feel like a complete heel! Why hadn't he been more considerate? It was snowy and cold - he just didn't realize her wings were so fragile!
A little upset with himself (even though there had been little he could have done to help) the boy was even more saddened that their playdate had to come to such an abrupt end. Still, they had at least one more adventure to go on - to find Soqfishes! Oh, he would make sure he made good on such a promise of adventure - but maybe he'd pick a warmer day so her wings didn't get hurt again. "Um - I'm not too far from here, I don't think." He shrugged, glancing over his shoulder. "I live in the mountains over yonder," he jerked his chin over that direction before giving a little grin. "So I suppose this is where we depart. It's not far away, is it? Cause the weather's awfully rough and your wings are pretty frozen. . . I could walk ya halfway there, if you wanted, just to make sure you made it home safe."
He buttered the little filly with his head, his protective nature reaching out to his new dear friend. He didn't want her getting any more frozen or lost or hurt.
